I stay was exceptional. My only concern was check in. The front desk had my email and phone on file. My name was not listed in the reservation so they would not let me check in. My wife had to confirm my reservation which was disappointing since we are both long term Marriott Bonvoy members.

Girls weekend trip 2 nights. Safe area. Close to kayaking launch minutes down the road. Our room was spacious. Balcony overlooked the restaurant next door. Impressive views of the area from the roof top restaurant which had great food and music. Staff was nice and professional. Full free breakfast every morning with lots of varieties. My only complaint was I found hair in the shower left from the previous renter, gross, and the shampoo bottle and body wash dispensers mounted in the shower were empty which left me annoyed. Everywhere else seemed clean. Just looks like they forgot the shower. I would stay again and make sure I have my own shampoo.

They do not make up your room or provide towels but every other day . They did not tell me when I checked in. Threw towels on floor to use a carpet and then had no towels .

Beautiful hotel on the water with a nice pool and great rooms. Only issue is the pillows are terrible. Flat as a pancake. They definitely need to work on that. Besides that I would recommend this hotel.

We were given keys and a room #, but the keys did not work. Went back to desk and had new keys made, only to find out they had initially assigned us the wrong room # which was occupied! When it was time to sleep, we were so uncomfortable as the bed felt like we were sleeping on a board! Both of us tossed all night and in the morning we asked if there were any other rooms with softer mattresses. Sadly, they sad all beds were the same. We made the decision to forfeit our already prepaid night and leave, rather than spend another aching sleepless night.

One of my only critiques is that the room was too hot. Locking the thermostat to not go below 67 degrees was frustrating, as we like to sleep in a cooler room. I'm glad we were there in March and not during the summer, or we would have been burning up. These room prices are very expensive, so it seems ridiculous to not allow guests to control the temperature and comfort level of their own rooms.

The breakfast and rooftop bar/cafe was good. However, the mattress on the pull out couch was very old, thin and lumpy. Needs an upgrade. Also, it took more than an hour to get toilet paper and tissues I requested because they were understaffed. Not sure why extra toilet paper wasn't available in the room.

This was a great hotel! The front desk person Loretta and the general manager were so helpful. We came upon this beautiful hotel after our condo rental was double booked. They were so helpful and even went out of their way to offer us a longer stay with a discounted price. Great, friendly, pet friendly place! I highly recommend!

We stayed one night for a mother/daughter trip and I would HIGHLY recommend staying at this property. Our room had a balcony and was very spacious. We had room to play games on the 4-person table, watch movies from the couch, and make popcorn in the kitchenette. We went to the rooftop bar during happy hour and had a glass of wine while watching the sunset. We explore DeSoto park which is a very short drive away and drove to Passe-a-grille for lunch which was also a very short drive away. It's an excellent location, a clean hotel, and the staff is very professional. The restaurant next door has excellent food options and I love that it is just literally a walk next door to get there. We will definitely stay here again.

..could use a wall mounted magnifying mirror in the bathroom.. ..the rooftop bar was nice but receiving a meal tends to be cool upon arrival as it is transported by staff from the 1st floor kitchen to the 7th floor dining area via elevator.. why was a 'dumb waiter' not installed when the hotel was built ??.. .. a hot tub/spa would have been a pleasant addition to the heated pool. ..and this morning the breakfast area was almost out of all the baked goods..and other than oranges the only fresh fruit was cut up melons which was fine for me but many folks do not feel safe with hands on fruit prep like that.. good coffee.. ..just a few observations for your hotel's future improvements.

The only reasons I didn’t give it a 5 star is there was some mold in the shower which is easy to take care of between visitors with a little bleach. And the pillows were flat. All 4 barely added up to one. When I called down to ask for a feather pillow or better solution the answer I got was not helpful or apologetic in anyway. In fact, I wasn’t really even clear what she meant. She said I can’t go get you one. (It was about 9:30pm). After a few questions to clarify, what she meant was she’s the only one there and she can’t leave the front desk. A better answer right upfront would have been to acknowledge my concern, apologize, explain she was the only staff on sight but that she would make sure it got handled first thing in the morning. But, other than that, the room was very spacious, beds were comfy, and great views from every vantage point. I’ll definitely stay here again.

Excellent in every way except for walk- in shower. It’s an accident waiting to happen. Floor is slippery and there are no grab bars to hold on to! Also, there are three containers on the wall in the shower. They all look the same but contain different liquids. No way of tell what’s in each container.
