Great location & facilities. We enjoyed the shared atmosphere with a mix of other people. Buffet breakfast was great. BUT there was no soap to wash my hands in the ensuite only the shower gel which needed the top taken off every time! The outside area needs shade - umbrellas or awning as it was very hot at breakfast time. Very noisy - people talking loudly after 12am & doors slamming. We still enjoyed our stay but the first 2 things would make a difference. Our room was next to the luggage storage & reception so was very noisy all the time!

Mid 30s staying in a hostel.
Best i could have hoped for. Very social and can do your own thing too if you wish.
Very clean. Very helpful. Very friendly. Great atmosphere

Nice staff, and facility is clean. Only drawback was noise. Groups in courtyard broke up not long after 10pm curfew, but air con units(?), generator (?)took their place. This is a hostel so definitely not bad for what it is, but take ear plugs, ;)

Didnt expect the pod accommodation. Too old to climb int an upper pod.

A great location within walking distance to Central Station and the CBD. Very clean. Basic rooms but all that you need for a short stay. Steps an issue with heavy bags and quite noisy at night but we were there for a sporting event and that may have contributed to the noise factor. Very friendly and welcoming staff. It’s essentially a hostel - not sure that was clear in the listing.

Despite booking a room with facilities, IE a toilet in a bathroom, what is normally expected when booking a room. I was issued with a key to a dormitory, sharing with two strangers.
I’m nearly 70 and far from being a twenty something that most of the guests at this facility clearly were, I’m no longer sharing with complete strangers, not that, over the years I ever shared with complete strangers. Due to the late hour I was left with deciding to stay and sheare OR hand back the key and with the 15 mins remaining till midnight, try and book a more conventional hotel room in Brisbane.
I’m glad I was able to because the room at Capri by Fraser was exceptional AND I was handed a bottle of champagne to settle into my room with. Hotels.com are looking into my booking arrangements at the Brisbane Quarters with a view to obtaining a full refund.

It's a hostel. For a hostel, it was a decent stay. Some sort of soundproofing wouldn't go astray. All in all half decent

Nothing to like about. Considering the value to the property and service it’s like a scam. The breakfast was the worst we could complain about. There was no enough room, no one was around to ask about where to find things, no hygienic etc

I stayed 1 night only.

Housekeepers are way to loud when entering the Rooms. Too much talking, while people sleep

I stayed in room 112, which was extremely noisy—I couldn’t sleep at all throughout the night. There was a lot of loud noise coming from the street that kept waking me up. Additionally, the room didn't have curtains, so the streetlights shone in directly. It was a very uncomfortable night in that room.As for the hostel itself, it seems new and very nice. It has cozy common areas.

Not enough Space to storage so Its very messy

Good service, room was clean, facilities were fine. Not really anything else in the room besides the bed itself. Perfectly good place to stay if you just need somewhere to sleep. Would recommend.

Staff were nice, no complaints. Only spent a week.

Disappointed you can’t check in early
Key wasn’t ready on time
Asked the staff for stuff and they took ages to respond
Bathroom shower was cold water and handle was broken
Apparently toilet was broken somehow it was overflowing of people piss.
Blanket was a bit thin but it alright
Other than that happy with the room I stayed in, Free internet was good, Free breakfast was fair enough to the price I pay but although I didn’t eat breakfast everyday. Happy they’re a fridge to put food.
I wouldn’t mind coming back but hope they fix the issue as raised.

Friendly and very handy to train station for early train at 4 am

It’s a Hostel, not a hotel. Shared facilities down the hall. Small bare room. I thought I was booking a hotel not a hostel. If a hostel is what you’re looking for, it’s fine.

Not good, the listing is deceptive to the consumer. No where does it mention that it is hostel.

Everything was fine

Was not obvious that it was a hostel on the wotif website - at $192, you don't expect it to be a hostel. Shared toilets and bathroom, no hot water on first floor (others advised me to go to 2nd floor for hot shower),no blankets on bed, no towel.

Kind staff, rooms were very loud at night though

Great place to crash but smaller than the images displayed

I have an injury but they still wouldn't help me carry my luggage up 2 flights of stairs.
No tea/coffee facilities available.
Wifi is terrible.
Over priced.
The access card system barely works. I had to get mine replced nearly every day.

A friendly place to stay. The staff is fantastic. Can be a little noisy but this is because guests are enjoying meeting people and talking.

I like that everything you need is there.
I just dont like the bed in the pod I was sleeping because I was itching while sleeping.

Up market backpackers in a good position. But showers and toilets not super clean and when you share that’s important. Breakfast was good and the place had a good vibe

This place was not defined prominently, or even slightly as a hostel, compared to other place which have "YHA, or "Hostel" in their names upon a listings search. Brisbane Quarters is a hostel. And for a Hostel, the place is amazing! Highly recommended if you want a nice Hostel.
What is not amazing is when booking through Expedia and all sections during booking do not mention its a Hostel.... until you walk inside the door. Too late for a refund then, both Expedia and the place refuse refund.
There is no feasible parking nearby if you have luggage. It is not family friendly, nor business friendly. Its is Hostel friendly.
