This was our first stay in Japan, and overall it was good! The staff is very kind and attentive, plus there is an incredible soba noodle restaurant right next door. That said, our room did not have the most comfortable bed as it had a decently large dip in the middle making it relatively uneven. Other than that, everything else was great about the place.

It's a lovely and unique place and the staff is super friendly and kind! Unfortunately the bed in our room (Room with a Pink Carpet) was very uncomfortable, too firm and sloping toward the middle, and both our windows looked out onto air shafts, so there was no sunlight. I am sure other rooms are much nicer, we just got the lame side of the building!

I usually never write reviews, but this property blew me away. I stayed in the play room with twin beds for 1 night, and both the room itself as well as the hotel exceeded all my expectations. Not only is the space stylish and creatively charged, it is extremely clean and new. The bathroom amenities are also top notch, the bath products offered both smell and work amazingly. Needless to say, the hotel staff is beyond friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend supporting this local business and the art community it is connected with!

Small boutique hotel on a quiet street, all necessary amenities available and an amazing staff! Ask for Naoto’s city advices over a cocktail, and follow through any food recommendation's, it will be amongst your trip favorite memories!

A really cool, funky hotel. Near subway stations. Each room is like a piece of art itself!
Beware the bar only opens Wednesday and Friday, which I think would put some off

My friend and I stayed in the play wall/room for two nights. On arrival, the front desk staff were very warm and provided a welcome drink. The staff speak pretty good English. The room was very small and had no outlets aside from two between the beds and in the bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. They don’t have amenities in the bathroom, but have them available at the front desk, which I thought was kind of awkward as you have to interact with the front desk staff each time you needed something. Overall it was a pleasant experience but price was a little steep for the size of the room (although I do understand the value of the artistic concept).

Interest arty decor, minimal service. Close to several metro station and lots of dining option nearby. Room size was small though.

nice small space

This was a cute hotel that had art events in the hotel. It is a bare minimum hotel, but it was good since I wasn't in my hotel room much. The art work was very cool.

Super cute cool room, fun and unique stay.

The art installation in the room was amazing! The only downside was that it made things a bit less practical - storing bags, packing etc

Amazing space and location - our room was unique and very fun to stay in.

The hotel is great for folks who want to experience a unique stay in a great neighborhood. The staff were helpful and very friendly and the room was spotless. The bathroom is very well appointed.
Our room had almost no storage and no where to put a suitcase (we had two), so end up with our luggage on the tile floor. A small bench and a few extra hangers in the closet would improve the function of the room.

We had a wonderful time!

That DAM room was interesting for the art and generally met all the basic needs but did lack a few hotel comforts, such as a comfortable place to sit. (The desk chair doesn’t have a back, and bed platform is curved so sitting on it is awkward.) Yes, it’s the trade off for having a designed room. However, I liked that they provided a power strip with USB outlets as it came in handy for device charging. The hotel itself was not the lively as I thought it might be also I stayed in early October and maybe it’s more active during other times I’d the year. The bathroom was very clean and modern. Nice robes are provided. I did not try the massage function on the bidet toilet but made a note that that feature is available. The area is quite quiet at night but still has places to get food and groceries nearby and metro access. Staff was great and very nice and patient with my limited Japanese.

A wonderful, unique property full of art that’s well connected into Tokyo. It’s situated in a nice quiet neighborhood that is a nice base to come back to.
The rooms, as in Tokyo, are small but modern and have the basics. It’s base to explore, not a property to lounge in. If you want a lobby bar this isn’t the place.
The beds are so-so, but the property is an incredible value for money.

I loved the art and how clean the rooms were. Additionally, these rooms are a lot larger than the typical rooms you see in hotels around Tokyo. Bathroom and showers had a lot more space. Loved our stay, wished we could’ve stayed here longer
