Lots of space with great location near the Chartres cathedral.

The view of the cathedral was wonderful.

When we arrived early, we were allowed to check into our apartment. However, it had not been cleaned. After calling the checkin desk, a team arrived to clean the rooms.

Gorgeous historic building. Great view of the cathedral. Located just a stone’s throw from the cathedral.

Unresponsive staff. The smell of the restaurant wafting into the window.

Charming location in the old city with a few inconveniences

The location of the apartment was superb, with a view on the facade of the cathedral and therefore of the sound and light show (see attached picture for the view from the bedroom). The apartment is in an old building, so a delight for people who like old-fashioned architecture and are tolerant of the mild inconvemiences that old buildings do not have (i.e. sound-proofing not as good, etc.) Overall, the apartment was comfortable and would be particularly good for a stay of several days.

The separation between one of the bedrooms and the living is just a curtain. This is unfortunate because of noise. Whoever is sleeping in that room will be disturbed by noise in the living room and kitchen. Whoever is in the living room can hear everything happening in the bathroom and WC. We had some hiccups such as there are only being towels for two people even though we reserved for three. Since we arrived late in the evning, we couldn't get that fixed until the morning (but then it was handled very quickly). Also, there were no back-up rolls of toilet paper, and the rolls that were on the dispensers were quite low. The city has recently completely reworked the streets around the hotel where we picked up the keys, and our GPS wasn't aware of that yet. Plus, it was unclear where to leave the car while getting the keys. It would be good to warn people that they can park in the drop-off zone at the train station while picking up the keys.

lovely old building full of character in a brilliant location

amazing location next to the cathedral. we loved the old property which is full of character with loads of space.

could have been cleaner, and with a little money spent it would be stunning

Apartments were great!

The hotel holding keys was completely clueless, except they had the keys, but did not know where these apartments were located. Upon arrival, it was a restaurant - an irritated waiter pointed up the stairs and yes, there we were. We had no idea if anything at the restaurant was included, so one day I asked for coffee and the barista pointed upstairs and I nodded yes, so he did not charge me. The apartments were great, but the overall experience could easily be improved. Upon checkout, there was a hassle because the agent had neglected to charge us local taxes, but after about 15 minutes of taking to her manager, they told us that "local taxes were on the house". Odd.

great location but review the room specifications carefully

location is great. very close to the cathedral. room is very big - 2 bedrooms, 2 baths (one with shower, one with tub). small kitchen. comfy bed.

check-in is at a different property. staff not very polite or helpful (feels like they work at the separate restaurant and have to deal with hotel guests). main bedroom doesn’t have a place to hang clothes. lots of dust on the shelves so my clothes got dirty. no lift to the second floor - lots of stairs.

Best place we have stayed in France!

Beautiful accommodations and the staff was gracious. Restaurant downstairs was convenient and offered good food

Directions could be improved to give the restaurant as a landmark. had a challenging time locating the apartment

Disappointing

Very spacious but absolutely nothing provided on arrival- even a coffee

Hotel particular did not EXCIST . Key not at hotel poeme as told but another hotel . Staff unable to help us find apartment!!!! Only found access to apartment because of help from next door shop keeper. Property called le Moliere -.not hotel particular! !!!!!!!!!!!

Great appartment in a perfect locationb

Stylish appartment in a mix of old building with atmosphere and modern furniture, perfect location, quiet and two minutes walk from the cathedral. Would always book it again.

That we had to walk from the apartment several blocks to pick up and return keys. I would suggest a lock box or establishing a pick up from the restaurant downstairs.

Great, would book this without hesitation any time I would go to this area

stylish, modern appartment in an old building with atmosphere. Very spacious, great for the four of us. Beds were very comfortable, location three minutes walking from the cathedral gorgeous.

You get the keys at a hotel in a distance of about 500 m, which is a bit inconvenient, but not really a problem

The price I was charged was far higher than I had contracted to pay at booking 50 euros higher. The floor tiles were wobbly loose and dangerous.

any closer you'd be in the crypt - great location and clean, spacious apartment

Great location right in front of the cathedral. Room was large and clean. Restaurant below was very good. Good parking location about 150m away.

It was a bit complicated to figure out where to get the keys. It took about 10 minutes to collect from the hotel as they seemed a bit disorganized.
