From what I saw of Pompeii, this seems to be the best place to stay . Obviously visitors to the area are there to see the archeological site, and there is really nothing else of much interest. The vast majority of visitors seem to travel there on a day trip which is okay for a day trip although the trains tend to be rammed. Definitely worth trying to find a day for a night time opening and then you’ll be in a rush to get away. We opted to stay over and this hotel was definitely a good choice.

Situated 2 minutes walk away from entrance to Pompeii ruins, just passed that entrance is the bus stop for vezuvious (€3.80 single), both train stations for local routes and national routes less than 10 minutes walk (single way tickets = €3.30 to Napoli centrale, €2.40 to Ercolano (Herculaneum), €5.80 to Paestum) Entrance Tickets to Vezuvious are €12, Pompeii Ruins Full site €22, without 5 Villas €18, Paestum Ruins €15, Herculaneum ruins €16, Napoli Archeological Museum €20, So huge savings if you do it yourself on all trips, rather than being rushed around by Tour operators that charge €45 ticket cost €12 per person to Vezuvious, aprox 3 hours, this is fine if not too crowded and no queue at line but need more time on mountain if your not a fit hiker Back to Hotel though, food was superb, staff were awesome and very helpful, Hotel is beautiful, we had superior room which was perfect for space as base to pop back to and relax, Very comfortable and fairly soundproof. Be aware that there are service charges for every where you go it seems varying from €1 - €5, at restaurants it was generally €1 each, Hotel was €3, but it seems this also applies to Hotel booking tickets for you to locations and a slightly marked up price Vezuvious was €16 each as i hadn't turned dial assist on my phone so could not receive the text when doing it myself on official ticket site

A beautiful hotel in a central location. Staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. I fully recommend the breakfast, you will want for nothing.

Modern hotel very conveniently located amongst many restaurants and local shops. The hotel itself is quiet & everywhere is very clean. Comfortable beds, air con, good shower, safe in room, tv, hairdryer, fridge, tea & coffee making facilities (but no milk products). We had breakfast included but the hot items were quite limited & could have been warmer. The other choices were good & very fresh though & the service very friendly. The rooftop bar was a great place for a few cocktails with a view of Mount Vesuvius. We found all the Reception staff to be extremely helpful and friendly & wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Beautifully decorated hotel. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Great experience with the staff who helped us with our questions with transportation around the Campania region. Great location walkable from nice restaurants and the new train station.

Lovely building super location. Most staff friendly and great linguists! Lots of choice for breakfast but same each day. Parking was a short walk away in public car park at a rate of £22/ day. Such a pity rooftop closed due to weather for all 3 days.

The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Although it was very hot, I still like to take a hot shower however this is not the norm so the “hot water” is warm. Other than that the hotel was great, super clean and not far from Pompeii archaeological site. There is a very helpful tourist information shop two minutes from the hotel. I booked a day trip to Capri from there €85 and to Vesuvius €20 €12 entry to the site. Pick up and drop off 5 mins from hotel. The taxi from the airport cost €85 which the hotel organised I took as my flight arrived close to midnight. I’d also recommend the tasting menu at the hotel restaurant €60 (4 courses and 1 glass of Prosecco). Pompeii station (10 min walk from hotel) is 45 mins to Napoli €6 return.

Ideal location for pompeii archaeological site & central pompeii. 20 min steady walk from the train station with refreshment available along the way. Clean, spacious rooms. Arrived earlier than check in time to see if we could drop our backs off before visiting pompeii. Which we could & upon check in at 3 the bags had already been moved to the room. Lovely roof terrace bar to look over the town at night.Only downside ,no milk in room to have with coffee/tea.
