Problems with other guests banging and screaming late at night no power for two days due to storm room not cleaned for 3 days no clean towels

Basic cleanliness was no where to be found in my room. The linens appeared to be clean, but a very noisy motel and guests. VERY different from the pictures and incredibly disappointing. I was attending a funeral and had no other choice, but will think long and hard before taking an Expedia review seriously again.

I absolutely LOVED the shower and mini-tub in our room.

The rooms were nicely appointed with thoughtful amenities, and was very clean and beautifully decorated. One can tell effort, time, and thoughtfulness have gone into making the property a wonderful experience for travelers!

This is an old motel purchased and run by what appears to be a recent immigrant family. They were extremely conscientious and accommodating. Not luxury, but good value. And we appreciated their solar towers.

The staff was very pleasant however, the check in area was very dirty and that should have given us a heads up. It was raining when we got there and the floors are all vinyl. We had to put a towel down to keep from getting the floor all wet and it was filthy. We looked out the back window, and it appeared there was a very junky area where people "hang out". Lucky forus it was raining so no one outside. The list goes on and on. We came to the area due to a sick relative in the nearby hospital. After talking to some local folks in the hospital, they told us to get out of there immediately. They said it was very unsafe and they knew this because their brother was a police officer in the area. This was a last minute trip and we really had no choice. We checked out the next morning and found somewhere else.

Not stoked about the place or stay despite good service. Straight up value proposition.

I liked it until the morning and I got into the shower and the floor of the shower was like a water bed rolling and sort of like being in a row boat at sea trying to,stand up. I would be badly hurt if I were not used to living on a boat. They must attend to this or they will have a very bad accident on their hands not to mention an insurance claim. The floor must have delaminated from the concrete.

So much potential and the workers were exceptionally nice. Older motel getting some cosmetic attention but needs some upgrades to make this a fantastic stop to stay. Lots of burn marks on furniture. Clean but needs updating. Bed mattress was extremely worn and was not level.

We booked at the very last minute, no difficulties. We could back our car right up to the door, easy to unload; very comfortable beds, cozy room, not luxury but all the important things were there.

Seems like many of the units are being used as low income housing.

Only got to stay one night because I was just passing through, but loved the location and will be back when we can stay longer.

No hangers in closet. Terrible mattress. Toilet paper holder broken. Sink drain didn’t work. Room smelled moldy. Two light bulbs dead. Plastic bag wrapped around light bulb between beds.

It was noisy. There were people in the yard behind our room that were around a fire and partying until after midnight

Convenient, with friendly staff, comfortable beds, and a fair price. Everything was quite adequate. Clean, but when I lost a screw to my eyeglasses and got on all fours to look for it, I realized that the room could use a deeper cleaning. Also, although I had put out the door tag for maid service, staff did not enter to make the beds.

This is an inexpensive and decent motel. There's not a lot of bells and whistles to this place but then you're not paying a lot either. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. It was a bit cold (it was the coldest night of the year when we were there). We had brought extra blankets with us and needed them. It was quiet at night. Staff was friendly. Bathroom was odd but serviceable. There was a microwave in the room which wasn't mentioned in the listing.

Coinvent location for my needs, staff friendly and accepting room was clean and had basic needs including coffee maker and mini fridge. Only stayed one night as a stay over on my way from NH to Florida. the unit had good parking and most of all quiet. The receptionist was excellent .

The room was clean and updated. But the bathroom was still in the 70s! The metal around the bottom of the bed was annoying! The price fir one night was very expensive.

Room smelt of cigarette smoke, burn marks on bed, holes in walls, mold in Bathroom. People living in complex. God aweful.

Family owned and operated motel, it was comfortable and tidy. Although not necessary, we received fresh towels every day. We would stay here again.

The Minuteman Inn "is what it is" - if you are expecting more, go somewhere else. It is a old motor lodge that is geared toward travelers just passing through that just need a (inexpensive) room/bed for the night. Maybe the best description is that the rooms are non-smoking, but each room has a chair and small tin pail just outside of each room door to provide a smoking area for guests that smoke. Like all motor lodges, the property is older (vintage?), but the owners are clearly doing their best to try to keep it well-maintained with the modern amenities (wi-fi) that everyone expects. It is no frills with a few odd surprises that may need paint or attention or are just "quirky" features of the room (i.e. our unusual shower stall). Similarly, with the doors being exposed to the sun and weather, we learned to double-check our door to make sure it latched when we left. But, for the money, we had decent/clean bed/linens, working bathroom with hot water and towels, reliable HVAC (and not too loud), mini-fridge, Cable TV, and wi-fi. What was it missing? Finding power outlets for charging devices were not abundant. The open closet had one hanger - which meant using the small table/chair for holding coats. Things like that. We decided to give The Minuteman Inn a try, as we travel to this area infrequently.to visit family. It was neither better nor worse than we anticipated, hence the three stars. As I said at the beginning... "it is what it is".
