What a fantastic place to stay! They staff are so loving and caring and made our wedding stay the best it possibly could be! They were so accompanying for me and my wife, kept us informed before and during our entire stay as well!

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Given a free upgrade to the spa room which was a nice treat, the room had high-quality furnishings and the spa shower was fun, could do with some instructions on how to use. A little noisy outside in the evening due to location but quiet enough at night. Overall an enjoyable experience

Stayed in Polo room. Absolutely gorgeously done out. Perfect location. Nice amenities with little complimentary snacks. Loved the sweetie jar!
Room was at top of building and it was a hot day. Sadly tho no air con so had a noisy seperate air con unit in room that needed to put on as too hot without. On a less warm day you wouldn’t need air con.
Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Lovely stay in the tree house, amazing living area with huge chill out sofa and tv, lovely rooms and huge copper bath in one of the bathrooms.
We will be returning

I only gave 4 star, not 5, due to the area around the hotel. Once you are inside it is lovely, but outside being next to car park entrance and a shopping mall, it looks pretty run down. Chester is fantastic for Roman history and well worth a visit. I would say to the hotel owners keep your eye on the ball and don't let things slip.

Great location with parking next door in the shopping centre for £10 for 24 hours.
Check in was quick and friendly.
We stayed in the Ralph and it was very spacious and clean. The bathroom is very small so you had to close the door behind you to move around. No issue for us as 2 able bodied adults.
Bed was comfortable and room was very warm but air con unit and fan provides so not an issue.
Location is spot on for the town centre.

Central location, well presented and spotlessly clean. Chloe on reception was a credit to the organisation, she made us feel welcomed and we would definitely return.

Great little boutique aparthotel. Friendly staff clean spacious rooms. Great location right in heart of Chester & next to Grosvenor shopping centre car park.

The room was spacious and clean. Parking is literally next door. You are next to some key Roman ruins: angle gate, coliseum foundations and Roman garden. Take the tour with the actor dressed in Roman garb.

Love, love, love this hotel. Was our second time staying here, both times in the Secret Garden room. Very spacious, comfortable bed, quiet room, fab separate living area. Kitchenette is a real bonus. Fab fire in the bedroom too.
Will certainly stay here again and maybe try a different room next time 🙂

We stayed in the flamingo room and i was disappointed with the kitchenette area it needed a good freshing up there is all marks on the walls. The bed wasn't made very well the sheets should be nice and crisp and made to look like a luxary hotel for the amount of money we paid. When i booked online it asks what the occasion is and i put birthday because it was my 50th but there was no sign of any nice gesture like there normally is so i don't know why it asks what the occasion is for when you book It was abit of a let down... it tells you that you have pay for the smallest tub of pringles and chocolate bar when this should would have been nice to be in with the price of the room which is quite expensive with no water bottle or anything plus the milk was off.

Extremely comfortable aparthotel with spacious suites and easy access to Chester City Centre

Wonderful little hotel. Our family of four stayed in the Zoo room for one night and found it comfortable and well-priced, with unique decor that made it stand out from bland chain hotels. Friendly staff.

Great location for the City and walk along the walls. Liked having area to let dog out but the shared area looked a bit “work in progress” Very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean and handy kitchenette. Good communication from hotel.

On arrival I was upgraded to the spa room which had a steam room, it was fabulous
The room was very clean and spacious. The staff very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommended this hotel

I booked for a night away to celebrate getting a new job, so decided to book a slightly better room than would usually choose, however I was left really disappointed.
The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, and the room was absolutely boiling, I tried to open the window however they didn't stay open, there was an air conditioning unit in the room, however when I turned this on at 12/1am it was so ridiculously loud it woke my partner up.
The jacuzzi bath was nice enough, but the shower wasn't powerful enough and took a long time to wash my hair
Was pretty disappointed since it was to celebrate and the room wasn't worth the money

We came here after we got married for a little mini-moon. The room had rose petals on the bed which was a nice touch from the hotel - thank you!
We stayed in the Flamingo room and made the most of the lovely copper bath. It was gorgeous. Big room with a seperate area with sofa tv and kitchenette. Perfect for one night but could also be good if you were staying longer.
Couldn’t fault the hotel, had everything we needed and staff were super friendly and attentive.
We will definitely be back and look forward to trying other rooms too!

Great location and comfortable, quirky room / apartment. Poor signage from the car park to the hotel, which could be worked upon but to be fair a nice place for the city. Very hot room but portable air con offered, which helped second night.

We loved this hotel. It was roomy, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Look no further if you looking for somewhere to stay in Chester, the rooms are amazing, we had a upgrade on our room and was blown away, the smell as you walk into The Hotel hits you as pure luxury, the staff cannot do enough for you, special thanks to Rhiannon. We will be back soon

Very nice and comfortable hotel with a great location.

Staff were friendly and nice. Decor on room was quite nice but it was absolutely roasting which meant neither my wife or i were able to sleep. It was only April and not warm outside, can't imagine how hot the room is in the middle of summer! We had booked and paid for 2 nights but left after 1 night as a result.

Wonderful overnight stay received as a birthday present. Couldn't fault anything. Look forward to staying again in another room as they all look amazing. We stayed in Ralph, would highly recommend.

I stayed in the Tropical Room which is a beautifully decorated room and slightly quirky with an amazing shower located behind the bed. The layout of room was ideal for me as I was travelling for work and found the kitchenette a great addition, as mentioned on other reviews there is a minibar/fridge which is stocked with soft and alcoholic drinks and chocolates. The toiletries are the White Company brand and smell wonderful. It was very thoughtful to have complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate sachets and plenty of sweets!
However there were some cons - I found it difficult to refrigerate my non dairy milk, water bottle and vegan foods as there was very limited space available in the fridge as you are competing with the minibar and chocolates. The room was hot overnight and although the windows open they cannot propped open. The bed was a little too soft for me but a firmer mattress in my personal preference, it was great to lay back and watch TV. Lastly the door to the room is very stiff and requires a good amount of pressure to open it.
Overall I really enjoyed my stay!

My partner and I stayed here for our anniversary. My partner brought some things to add to the room for the occasion and they were more than happy to help! The room was gorgeous, it was lovely and clean and the staff’s communication was excellent. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Chester now!

Really nice studio with its own steam room. Perfectly located in the centre of Chester. Ideal for a city break.

We stayed in "The Zoo". If the other rooms are anything like this one then there isnt a bad room in the hotel. All staff that we spoke to on the front desk were friendly and helpful. Really easy text system if you need anything further from them. Lights, heating and music on when we got there. Beautifully decorated.

Absolutely amazing stay! We stayed in the flamingo room and it was lovely, spacious and had everything you would need!
The only problem I had was when the window was open there was a generator noise booting up every 2 minutes, while this was annoying I just put white noise on my phone to drown it out and slept like a baby!
The bath was a lovely addition to the room and the bed was extremely comfy. The bathroom was a great size and lovely and clean and the kitchenette was perfect for the short stay!
Also, the car park is seconds away so no worries about parking. It’s in the best area possible.
Staff were lovely!
