I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Bradley James Hotel, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish! First off, the location is fantastic. It’s conveniently close to the beach and some charming local spots and attractions, making it a great base for exploring the area. The hotel itself exudes a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. The lobby is tasteful and immediately makes you feel at home. The room was comfortable and stylish, with a perfect blend of modern amenities and classic touches. My room was impeccably clean and I particularly appreciated the little details, like the complimentary cookies waiting there, which was a nice touch. The staff at The Bradley James Hotel truly make a difference. They were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. Whether I needed a recommendation for a local restaurant (thank you by the way) or had a question about the amenities, they were there to assist. I’ll definitely be returning!

Everything was great except advertised breakfast was not available (apparently only on weekends) which was the reason we booked it in the first place. The advertised Balthazar bakery goods were not provided only some fruit and sliced bread; staff was also not able to provide anything besides drip coffee - this should be made clear on their website. Otherwise, the place is quite nice and they do provide convenient beach chairs and towels which is a plus.

The hotel was modern and clean. The staff was extremely friendly. They could probably look into the water pressure for the shower which was light but not a deal breaker. Daily breakfast was excellent. Great stay!

Had a great stay at the James Bradley. First of all the whole ambience is incredible, they thought about every single detail. The staff was friendly, included a full breakfast and was walking distance from the beach. I will definitely be back.

We loved our weekend getaway at the James Bradley. It’s the perfect location, right next to the beach. The property is gorgeous, quiet and clean and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast included in your stay is delicious and there are plenty of dining options in Bradley Beach or Asbury Park and Belmar, which are a quick drive. We can’t wait to come back!

Gorgeous hotel! Every aesthetic details thought of! Unfortunately we can’t say the same about the hospitality. The were a lot of requested items that were unavailable or not longer offered, that was a bit misguided.

This was our first time staying at the James Bradley hotel, and we would go back again. We booked one of the smaller rooms, but it was still spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was a nice size with good lighting, although it did have a 365° shower curtain bar, which was coming out of the wall and seemingly could’ve taken the showerhead with it. When you reserve a room here, breakfast is included. We had a week day stay so it was just continental breakfast, which was fairly small. That would’ve been fine, except several of the things that they have on their menu card, such as cappuccino, latte, Matcha, and even almond butter were not available. Unfortunately, when the breakfast options are very limited, those things mean something. The first Morning of our stay, there were a selection of breads, hard boiled eggs, muffins, some fruit and yogurt, and coffee cake. There was nothing to put on the bread except for jam, and those jars were almost empty, and frankly, not cleaned off very well, so it wasn’t very appealing to use. The second morning there were fewer options because the eggs, the muffins, and one of the bread types was no longer available. One of the very nice things about the hotel is that it’s about a block away from the beach, and they also allow you to use their beach, umbrellas, towels, and chairs so that’s a big perk. Areas of the hotel are beautifully decorated, the gardens, the fire pit, the porch, all wonderful!

Such a gem of a place both inside and out. The garden spaces were beautiful and peaceful. The rooms and common areas were elegant yet simple. It felt like a European getaway. Joe the manager was friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back

This was the first time we stayed at the James Bradley. It is beautifully upgraded and impeccably designed. Situated a block and a half from the beach, they provide breakfast, beach chairs, and towels. They have manicured sitting areas full of hydrangea and a comfy front porch. It is the nicest hotel we have stayed in at the Jersey Shore!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Keith checked us in and was such a pleasure to deal with. He was so kind and accommodating. The staff in general were all incredibly welcoming. Our room was perfect for us. Despite its small size, we had the beautiful outdoor space to enjoy for lunch and cocktails by the fire pit. With the beach within walking distance, it could not have been more perfect. The continental breakfast was a wonderful treat.

Lovely interior and porch.The staff was responsive. Not optimal if you prefer a more eco-friendly experience. However, many will like the ambience--plenty of a/c and at night, they had (in the summer) a gas circular for fire, chairs around it.

Our stay at The James Bradley was above and beyond what we were expecting...Shared spaces with other guests (front desk area, porches and outside garden patio) were just lovely in design and comfort while offering a sweet music that truly gave a vibe of comfort and welcoming...A truly nice touch. Our room, though small, never felt crowded...Bed was the best we have ever slept in...We literally melted into it. A nice touch of snacks, drinks and soft lighting was super soothing. We would were a quick block away from the ocean and took a lovely walk upon arrival. We wish we stayed longer, and hope to be back soon.
