Nice rustic family owned and run roadside motel. Check in was quick easy and welcoming. Very friendly folks. Room was comfortable. Shower is small and could use a hand held shower head. Rooms 7&8 are at the end of the building downstairs and right by the road. Could hear passing cars and trucks thru the night, so if you’re a light sleeper keep that in mind. Overall a pleasant stay and would stay here again if in the area.

This was an awesome place with the friendliest owner. Very close to Sugarloaf and everyone who was staying there were friendly. Just a great vibe! Will definitely return next year.

Updated rooms with everything you need to live out of for a few days like we did. Full fridge and freezer, shower, toilet, TV. The only thing that was tough was the bed because the middle was clearly slept in by a single person many times and it created a crater that my spouse and I kept falling into.

Close to Sugarloaf and about an hour from Saddleback. It's a great, reasonably priced, place to stay to visit both.

It was difficult to find in the dark as there was no road signs or light at the property. It's quite rustic, all wood inside rooms. We were placed in the older bldg. It was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly.

Loved the wooden walls and backwoods feel. Didn't like the step up to the bathroom.

This was a great location at a competitive price. I was surprised to learn of the additional outdoor gathering spaces; that was a nice touch. The steps going up to the second floor lodging. We’re just a little bit daunting for an older person like me, but the handrail made them doable. I would be happy to return to this location.

Great location if you’re at all interested in the AT hiking experience. Having fully equipped kitchen was unexpected and very useful. The outdoor firepit was a nice option for post dinner relaxation.

One night between two days of skiing. Good advice on dinner and breakfast. Comfortable

Relatively low priced and close to Sugarloaf Ski area. OK place to stay if you're looking for a place to sleep on a short stay, we stayed two nights. There was a coffee maker in the room as normal however the motel only provided coffee for the first night, you're on your own after that. I have never stayed in a motel that didn't replenish the coffee stock each day. They have an on demand hot water system which we had to wait 3-5 minutes each time to get hot water flowing. Guess we'd stay again because of price.

This place is a little gem! Very cozy cabin-like rooms with kitchenette. The owners have put a lot of thought into making sure their customers feel at home. They are extremely accommodating and got above and beyond to make your stay a positive experience. I would highly recommend to anyone who is in the area for skiing or snowmobiling. Big thank you to the owner who helped my husband with an electrical connection to his snowmobile. The owner went into his workshop, grabbed a couple of parts and we were on our way. He truly saved the day for us! Thank you !!!

Room was on second floor with dangerous stairs and unsafe railing. My wife and I are both elderly and handicapped and climbing up and down the stairs, with a dog, was horrible. The room had no furniture, no place to sit except for a pair of steel stools, the television screen was the size of my laptop, and impossible to watch. I fell out of the bed at night because when I put my foot on the floor the floor was slippery and my foot kept going. The room was next to the highway and very noisy with trucks going by all night.
I've motored the country extensively and in the past decade have stayed in over 50 motels, in at least 20 states. This place was not only the most uncomfortable, and most dangerous, it was the most expensive.
I had booked a second night to avoid a seven hour drive home in the dark after a family party but we decided that the misery of driving home while exhausted was much better than another night at the Mountain View.

Rooms were clean, well equipped
Noise was horrible, at a very busy road with traffic quantity and speed like on an interstate 24 hours a day.
very remote location, on the side of the road.
Rooms were not well insulated fromm the noise with window AC's mounted in an open window, letting in all the traffic noise
