The beds were comfortable, overall a decent place. The neighbors were potheads who left quite the stink in the area and had a screaming row at 3:30 am. (Not the property's fault, but did affect our enjoyment of our stay.) The fridge's compressor was very noisy. The front staff were kind and seem like good people.

I think the facility is in the process of updating the interior. The other four people who also stayed had a bathtub that was in terrible shape. Our room smelled dirty. Our bedspread needed a wash. There was dry human secretions on the bedspread. Could have been from the nose or elsewhere. You get what you pay for.

The cabin was very clean, not even a spot on the carpet. Some things were damaged, for example the plate on the deadbolt was coming off which made the door hard to lock, but everything still functioned and was clean. The owner even let me check in very late because my flight arrived in the night.

It was an ok stay. Our cabin was more of a duplex in the corner of the property. People sat outside our window on the chairs provided chatting loudly until 11 pm. It’s a room with a bed and small bathroom with a small room with frig and microwave. The table was a tv table with folding chairs. Not the cabin in Maine we had envisioned but affordable and right off the main road. A step up from camping.

This is definitely old school motel. I ended up in the handicap accessible room. The shower was perfect for handicap folks. The rest of the room look like they put the left over furniture. The bed was low to the floor. not ideal fot a handicap person. A wire that appeared to be capped, hence live was protruding from the wall over the door. Surely dated for sure.

The room was dingy. The batbtoom door was filthy like a mechanic was there. I had to skim the pool in order to use it because of the bugs in it. There was a hole in our wall and the size was no accuarlty depicted.

We didn’t have high expectations and t unfortunately we got what we paid for. Our only complaint was mostly the “stale smell” in the room. Deodorizer used by facility didn’t cover it up! Bed very low to ground and only two folding metal chairs with in the room.

I never review but I feel like I need to. The bathroom was horrendously small can’t even move around in it to properly clean myself. My significant other couldn’t even turn around. The sink being on the outside of the bathroom is insane. It was cute but the bathroom I have a problem with. The pool could’ve been kept up with cleaning wise.

This motel was absolutely disgusting, upon arrival we instantly smelt mold coming from the AC, there was mold in the bathroom and bathtub, we noticed different types of bugs throughout the room, there were stains all over the walls, the sheets weren’t clean and had crusty stuff on it.. We drove 6 hours to come to this place, the pictures are very decisiving. Both my son & I felt sick for days after staying at this motel. I would not recommend whatsoever. It was super overpriced. We were offered to switch rooms but every room we were offered was also filled with mold.

The room was very basic, a thin blanket and old pillows, smelt of stale cigarettes, the carpet was ripped and didn’t feel very clean. Was a lot of money and not worth it.

There was literally one foot distance between the shower and the toilet so getting in and out was fun. The bathroom and only sink was outside the bathroom. The night stand was a TV tray. The doors were filthy, paint was chipping, etc. No maid service; we had to take our dirty towels to the office and request new ones, etc. We paid far too much and when I told the owner that the room was now listed for a lot less on another site, they just smiled. No closet, coffee pot iron or even a coat hook! Truly minimal. I would not stay there again

Check in was easy. We stayed in a basic cabin. No smoke smell. Clean. Had micro fridge and two chairs and bistro table. You parked your vehicle next to the cabin which I liked for keeping an eye on the car. There were several picnic tables across from the cabin that were shared. Outside light didn’t turn on. Outside stoop had two folding chairs. Exterior stoop and doorframe could use repainting or replacing of the wood but for the price it was not bothersome. Would recommend they get doormats for entry as you walk onto a carpet. There is heat and AC (we used heat) with a thermostat. Windows had screens too. Shower had hot water and I liked that I could adjust the water flow. I recommend the place as a good budget cabin.

Brookside Inn & Cottage was a good place to stay. The bed was comfortable. Clean linens and towels. The cabin I stayed in had a microwave and a small fridge. Simply furnished but a good place for a night's stay. Nothing fancy and decently priced. Close to Saco and Kennebunkport.

We stayed in a cabin… A little outdated, but very clean and comfortable. Very cozy! The staff was very friendly and was very quick to perform housekeeping. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Will definitely come back!

the air conditioner worked and that was nice. lots of stains on lamp on the bathroom and front door and the room smelled like cigarettes.. staff was nice at check in.
