About this house rental

Spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom open concept living - FANTASTIC view of the lake (open water) sets the tone for a relaxing stay.

Modern kitchen, Keurig coffee maker, ice machine, microwave, blender, lots of spices and cooking oils, pots, pans, baking sheets, towels, paper towels, plates, bowls, cups and silverware. Lots of gadgets for cooking at home to take in the amazing view.

Each adult bed has extra comfort bed topper with plenty of extra pillows. Beds comfortably sleep 10 with extra space for 2 on the futon couch or blow up bed.

Our dock is equipped for a boat tie off, we have 2 kayaks, a paddle board, rods and reels and water toys galore.

*The house itself is 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, sleeps 12. (6 adults and 6 children)*

We have covered outdoor patio seating for 12 to take advantage of the calming water. We also offer a screened in porch if you don't want to sit in the open air. It is perfect for morning coffee, or hanging out while the kids play in the spacious yard.

The backyard has plenty of space for outside games (we offer cornhole and ladderball) . The fire pit and chairs down by the lake are a perfect way to enjoy the s'mores and sunsets.

* 3-night minimum stay on Holiday Weekends and in the summer!!
* Pets: We are happy to accommodate your dogs (under 50 lbs please) - 2 maximum. There is a mandatory Pet Fee.

We had a great stay. We spent lots of time outdoors. We love the covered patio, the shady yard, the fire pit, the dock, and swimming in the lake. The firewood provided is not split and not dry enough to burn well, so you might want to get your own. The king bed in the master was comfy. The bunk beds are very squeaky because they don't have appropriate bracing. We caught lots of small channel cats off the dock. We had fun renting a pontoon boat for half a day, renting a jet ski for a few hours, and going to the local fun park. The kitchen is well stocked, so we ate in for all our meals. The host was great. We would definitely recommend this place for families wanting time to unplug and connect with each other and enjoy the lake.

Overall, a great stay. Kitchen was stocked well and there were plenty of bath towels for everyone. Would have liked more hand towels and wash cloths, but it was fine. The location on the lake was great. The back yard and patio areas were very nice.

Beautiful house but has stains on carpet. Bunk beds squeaks if people are on top beds. Kayaks have spiders, washed them but spiders kept coming out of cracks. Recommend getting insurance to cover any damages.

This house was the perfect stay for a long weekend. Bedding, towels and floors were very clean. Laura provided a couch cover so our dogs could also enjoy vacation. The neighborhood feels tucked away in the country with proximity to the neighbors still close. Restaurants aren't up the road so we meal prepped, bringing all of our own supplies. Lake toys and floating devices were included but bring your own beach towels. We made awesome memories here.

We had such a great stay at Laura's place. The little cove they are in is perfect for the kids to fish, kayak, and play. The house with the big windows to wake up to the view of the lake and have coffee is beautiful. Will definitely go back!

The house was amazing. From the views to everything provided they have it well supplied. It was clean and well taken care of. We had serious weather issues and Laura was amazing helping us get information and offering for us to stay longer. She is a wonderful, responsive host. Honestly this house is set to walk in, relax at the lake and enjoy your time. We most defintely will be back. 12 out of 10!

What a wonderful 5 days. Peace and quiet. Came from Houston and only took 3 hours to get there. Everything we needed was provided. We are picky mattress people & the king mattress was wonderful. We will be back!!!!!!

What a beautiful home!!!! The views are outstanding; the tranquility and peace that you experience is a true understatement. The kids had so much fun on the dock and swimming near the house. They ran barefoot in the yard and we with the large windows that face the water we could keep a close eye on them at all times. We will definitely be back!!!!!!! :-)

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The large, lush, and fenced back lawn was perfect for our dog and daughter to run and play. It was very windy and cool when we were there, so we were unable to do any water activities. But the view was beautiful! And the area was great and safe for riding bikes. We will definitely be back!

Our family of 9 from ages 4 to 83 had a wonderful weekend at your beautiful home and property. We enjoyed fishing off the dock, swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, lots of games, and relaxing both inside and outside. As soon as you open the front door, the view of the lake was breathtaking. The amenities were just as described and it couldn't have gone any better. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! Family time is important to us and we all had a wonderful and fun weekend.

The house was nice and clean. The view was amazing! The whole family had fun fishing, kayaking, making s’mores and just relaxing! So thankful to the homeowners for sharing their home and outdoor equipments with us! We really only needed to bring our clothes and whatever food that we wanted to cook. A great stay overall.

The view from the back and screened-in porches was awesome!!! All the glass at the back of the home gave the feeling of being outdoors while you were sitting inside with the AC. At night, the lights reflecting off the calm water was so soothing. Great size kitchen, room for many cooks. The home is positioned so that the morning and afternoon sun does not come down directly on you while sitting outside. The firepit area was perfect for coffee and night caps. The pet policy is reasonable. We were there to kick back and relax and that's exactly what we did!

Absolutely beautiful lakeside home! The house is very well taken care of, and it had everything we needed for our stay and then some. We could not have asked for a more relaxing, peaceful, and comfortable stay. The owners truly thought of everything and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was a memorable one. The family and I have a great July vacation. We swam, ate, fished, kayaking, paddle boards. So many things to do we didn’t have to leave. Grilled not only hot dogs, but fish and steak. Being at the lake makes me hungry. We also made s’mores. The owners were friendly and easy to communicate. The home was comfortable and nice. Waking up to the lake full view was so peaceful and relaxing. It was a great time.

Had an amazing time at Laura’s lake house. It was truly a dream for our family. Accommodations were great for our family of nine and even the dogs had a great time. Lots of room, water toys, games, and a beautiful, tree filled, green lawn to play on. Screened in porch was nice to sit and have conversations at night and the covered patio with grill was great for dinners. We all had a wonderful time and will be back again in a few months!!

This is a perfect place to stay for our family, we had a 3 yr old a few teenagers and us old folks and we all enjoyed it! There is plenty of privacy and plenty of space for games! The kids loved having all the extra games to choose from and the kayaks, the dock was in great condition! The neighbors were out all weekend enjoying their awesome beach and they were also very friendly! Nice area to take the boat and Jet skis out on the lake also! We had such an amazing relaxing time we will definitely be back! Also the trees and shade is a game changer for the Texas heat lovely property! Thank you!

I cannot explain in words how great of an experience we had at this house! It was fun and relaxing for all ages. Our Easter weekend was amazing! My kids enjoyed the lake so much and just the outdoors at this house! Laura was amazing at answering back and getting everything taken care of. My husband left behind a meaningful necklace and Laura didn’t hesitate to get that back to us! We appreciated how comforting the Lakehouse was and the hospitality with it. 10 out of 10!!

Very nice house on the lake. It was clean and communication with the owner was really good. We enjoyed the screened porch before he unexpected cold weather kept us inside the rest of the time. Plenty of room and seating in the gathering room. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and pots and pans. It would be a lot of fun in the summer.

We LOVED the property at 125 Tanda Trail. We had a gathering of our high school girlfriends and this was the perfect location to stay and hang out. The property was beautiful and provided good space to enjoy each other and the beautiful sunsets from the dock!
