About this apartment rental
A spacious 2 storey Victorian duplex apartment on the highly regarded Cathedral Road (backs onto the grounds of Glamorgan Cricket Club and Cardiff Castle). The property has a large kitchen/diner, lounge, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and garden terrace. It comfortably sleeps 6 guests . The Maisonette is in one of the best locations in Cardiff with a wide range of pubs and restaurants on hand and the city centre is a short pleasant walk away through the grounds of Cardiff Castle.
A GREAT PROPERTY IN A GREAT LOCATION ! Large duplex in Victorian house on Cathedral Road. Pavement cafes, designer boutiques, restaurants, Principality Stadium, Cardiff city stadium and the City Centre are within walking distance. No car needed.
The property backs onto the grounds of Cardiff Castle and the famous Swalec Stadium Cricket Ground. In the summer you can sit out in the terraced garden listening to the birds and the cricket and hockey games. You are also just a pleasant 10 minute walk through the grounds of Cardiff Castle to the Principality Stadium home to Welsh rugby and an abundance of shops and restaurants (including John Lewis and The Ivy) A quick hop on the Aquabus takes you to the coastal activities of the Marina or a show at the fantastic Wales Millenium Centre. Located in the fashionable area of Pontcanna with street cafes, restaurants, designer shops and easy walking distance of Cardiff City Centre. The property is spread over two floors with a private garden and parking for 2 cars. On the ground floor you enter from the garden into a large well equipped kitchen/diner. The property benefits from a GF Shower room with a double sized rain flow shower & WC, the lounge is very comfortable with 2 large sofas, a 40" flat screen smart TV/DVD (with Netflix etc) and the large, light, spacious kitchen with dining facilities has patio doors leading to a private terraced garden with table and chairs for 6 guests. Equipped with a full size Fridge/Freezer, induction hob, oven, microwave, washing machine/dryer and coffee machine. The first floor has 3 bedrooms; one king size (splits to twin - advance booking with minimum 48 hours required) and a further two double bedrooms. The bathroom has a large L shaped bath with an additional mixer shower/enclosure. The property has full central heating making for cosy stays in the autumn/winter. Linen is provided including bath towels for each guest. Additional linen is provided for stays of more than one week. Changeover services can also be arranged for stays of more than 1 week if required. 2 Parking spaces can be provided (Please book in advance and note there is a width/height restriction preventing tall vehicle access - check for details). No Hen or Stag type group bookings taken sorry! Guests will have sole use of the property which is a 2 storey 3 bed apartment occupying the back of a large Victorian Semi with private garden and parking

So close to the centre, but in the most perfect little leafy neighborhood. Great house for our family's Easter getaway. Thanks!

We stayed for a few days. The property is spacious and tastefully decorated. The proximity to the Castle and the city centre was a key draw for us; and having the parking was also a key consideration (it's tight so do heed the warnings about size of vehicle). Almost too good to be true!
