We had a fabulous stay at the Salish Sea Cottage. It felt like a Pacific Northwest dream - watching deer eat wild blackberries out the kitchen window, seeing a group of otters frolicking in the water and a seal swimming from the patio. We enjoyed having our morning coffee on the patio and played games and watched the sunsets from it in the evenings.
The cottage is cozy but our 2 adults and 2 teens managed well, especially with the outdoor spaces. We appreciated the grill and outdoor dining area as well.
The location made it easy to explore many nearby areas including Seattle, Tacoma and whale watching from Port Townsend.
We would definitely consider this property for another trip in the future!

We enjoyed the location, easy access to town, the ferry, restaurants and sites.
About 5 minutes away we would see 3 deer grazing.
We enjoyed the firepit nightly. We would love to return in the future. Thank you Melissa for sharing your cozy home with us.

We were in Port Orchard to visit family. This cute cottage was perfect in every way for our stay in the area. We had deer visit us in the back yard our first morning and enjoyed the sunsets from the front porch in the evenings. The ferry into Seattle was convenient and close to the property. The property had comfortable beds, great towels and everything we needed for our stay. I will stay here again if in the area and would recommend this property to anyone considering the Port Orchard area.
Thank you Melissa for our warm welcome upon arrival and providing a great home for our visit.

We were so pleased with this Port Orchard location. It gave us convenient access to hiking in near Poulsbo and Port Gamble and sightseeing in Port Townsend.
The cottage was spacious and nicely appointed. The beds were comfortable. The deck was a great place for unwinding.
Communication with the rental manager was good and helpful throughout the process.

We came to have Thanksgiving with our Sailor prior to him deploying. The property was only a couple of miles from his house and it had everything we needed (other than a dresser.
and that is absolutely not a deal breaker I just like settling in and unpacking)... It was very clean, the Decor was perfect and Melissa was fantastic about answering questions and making sure we had everything we needed. The view was incredible and we would definitely stay here again.

The cottage was welcoming, well-equipped, and spotless! Although we didn’t cook there the kitchen had everything we would have needed, including basic spices, olive oil, etc.
When we inquired about a seafood restaurant Melissa quickly responded with her recommendation, menu, and ferry schedules.
Friends who live in Port Orchard stopped by and said they would highly recommend it! So would we!!!
