A relaxing and comfortable stay.

The host was very welcoming and greeted us at the gate upon arrival. The Little Fountain House maybe small but had all the necessities needed for a weekend away. Was in a quiet and peaceful location but in-between lots of places to visitm

They seemed to think of everything you might need - even salt which is usually never provided but really necessary if you are eating in. Also, the lovely fountain, the patio and the views.

My stay at the little fountain house!

It is really cute and cozy, very clean and suited me comfortably, 100% I will be coming back. It's perfect for anyone alone or maybe with a partner, the owners are both lovely too, honestly if your planning to stay in the area, this is the place for you!

Very Well equipped about 10 to 15min walk from the sea front.

The Garden Cottage is extremely well equipped, including USB charging points.

The Sofa doubles up as the double bed.

Parking not easy, would have liked heating in bathroom as floor very cold in there. Metal frame on the sofa bed felt through the mattress in a couple of places

The perfect bolthole for a short break

Great location and a quirky little property. Lovely decor and an excellent use of a small space. Hosts were friendly & communication excellent. Great for a short visit to Dawlish.

Felt rather like you were at the bottom of someones garden.as overlooked by owner of property in house very nearby. Couldnt work the oven at all.very complicated and frustrating .Not much privacy when sat outdoors as people overlooking the apartment and nearby residents in houses nearby .

What was there not to like. We loved everything. From the host's to the accommodation, to their dog Arnie. Lynn and Dave made our stay more pleasurable by providing home comforts like milk, coffee, tea... even things you won't expect. The way the place was layed out was very clever and stylish even in the small space, was enough room for two and enjoyed the outside sitting area where we enjoyed some drinks and barbecue. Lynn and Dave was always checking us if we needed anything. We are definitely booking our next stay in the future

A fabulous stay at the little fountain house

We had an outstanding stay at the little fountain house. The property is compact but well appointed, with everything you can possibly need. Beautifully decorated with the added touch. Very comfortable bed with nice soft bedding. Extremely clean inside and out. Where else can u stay with a fabulous fountain right on your doorstep? The hosts David and Lynn are wonderful, so welcoming, they are there when you need them. We went away for our wedding anniversary but alas I fell in love with another! His name is Arnie, David and Lynns gorgeous dog! The area of Dawlish is just gorgeous, quaint little shops, a lovely Brooke with their famous black swans, not forgetting the swooping landscape and stunning crystal clear sea. I can not recommend this property enough, we are booking for next year! 😊

A relaxing short break in a beautiful setting.

Lovely location, property is small but for one person perfect. A lot of thought had gone into fitting out the property with everything needed, all new and high quality. Having the terrace was a bonus in the recent hot weather.

Salt and pepper in the kitchen would have been useful. It’s quite a walk from the town but worth the hills.

the loverly people who own the area and all provided

everything was good but felt for our age seem the hob and oven was modern to work but David came and showed us but we are pensioners
