Enjoy listening to the Zigzag River on the deck or while relaxing in our hot tub, tucked away in the backyard. The full kitchen is ready for your creations and we love dogs so they are welcome!
Welcome to the Lolo Cabin, a space we are excited to share with you! This cozy flat has been thoughtfully and stylishly appointed from top to bottom with everything to make your stay beautiful and comfortable. We can't wait to welcome you into our mountain side home. Our place is ideal for a relaxed getaway, up to 4 people. We have a lovely front porch as well as a nice size back deck, a picnic table, charcoal grill and newly installed hot tub.
The main room is TV free, allowing you to fully unplug and unwind by the cozy wood-stove.
A dedicated TV room is linked to Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Disney+ and Amazon Prime, allowing you to binge your favorite show, or catch up on the ones you missed. Besides TV, there are cards, a coloring book, stellar game selection and a few puzzles to keep you entertained.
The kitchen is equipped with a small coffee maker, a pour over, a single french press, coffee grinder, electric tea kettle, toaster oven, electric range/oven, microwave & dishwasher as well as all basic cooking and baking tools. Guest access:
*Guests have access to the deck behind the house, the hot tub and grass area where the hammock, Adirondack chairs and picnic table live. In addition, the front yard, patio and eastern/main driveway. For the purposes of this listing and your reservation, the property lines are as follows:
N - along Terrace Drive
S - where the property begins to slope downhill behind the deck
E - the main driveway
W - the picnic table
Things to note: *We have an IKEA full size futon style sleeper sofa in the TV room that can sleep 1-2. Bedding is kept in a closet and is self-serve for set up. The Chesterfield couch in living room is also wide enough for single person sleeping - actually comfortable too!
*Window AC unit installed in summer months only - luckily, the cabin stays pretty cool even on really hot days + the ceiling fan circulates well.
*No parties please and if there are gatherings with more than guests listed on the reservation, we'd love to know first.
*Dogs are allowed but if you’re bringing more than 2, send us a message before booking please. We do have dog bowls, waste bags, specific dog towels, ect for communal use. While we clean thoroughly between each guest, we cannot guarantee at any given time that the cabin will be free of any pet dander. Due to allergies, we are unable to host cats.
*Again, it’s a dog friendly listing. While we aim to get every hair vacuumed, lint rolled or otherwise removed… dog hairs may still be present on items, imperfectly.
*That being said, dogs aren’t allowed on elevated fabric surfaces i.e. futon couch, bed, armchair, etc. While dander in inevitable, cleans between guests run smoother this way.
*Dogs must be supervised while on the property grounds at all times. Please ensure your dog does not wander onto neighboring yards, driveways or street.
*The cabin's driveway is along the eastern side of the property and in line with the mailbox and address marker. It is an "in and out" style... NOT a turnaround or attached to another driveway. Please do not drive on the lawn or anywhere else on the property.
*Guests booking must be 25 or older.
*Access to all listed TV streaming subscriptions can change at any time
*We do get snow in the winter months. HWY 26 is always plowed and lower E Lolo tends to be as well. The street to the cabin is a gravel base but It's always a good idea to carry chains in winter months.
*We will provide a bundle of wood & fire starters for your stay. Kindling will be needed to start your fire, and we provide an ax and hatchet as tools for this. Additional wood can be purchased at several stores, just minutes away. Please do not go "gathering" for sticks/burning material on or around the property. We provide the ax, hatchet and area outside to create these smaller pieces.
*Lolo Cabin is part of a small community of homes along the Zigzag River. We have full time neighbors and we ask that you respect their peace and quiet. We are located on a gravel road (5mph MAX) off a major street, up from the main highway.
*To keep dirt at a minimum we ask you remove your shoes when entering the cottage & please wipe your dogs feet and body especially if it’s wet outside.
*Our neighborhood of 3 streets all share the same water well. The cabin is on a septic system. We ask you to not flush anything besides TP down the toilet and use the drain catcher in the kitchen sink for food waste.
*Price includes the local 6% Transient Lodging Tax, remitted to Clackamas County on a monthly basis.

The cabin is beautiful, the hot tub was wonderful. My husband and our pup loved the closeness to fishing spots, and I enjoyed the quiet morning soak in the spa. 10/10, we love it here and would come back!

My husband and I stayed 5 nights. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings and even used it one cool morning. There were quiet restaurants/bars nearby. We went on some amazing hikes and went swimming. Don’t miss a stop into Mount Hood Baking Company. We had excellent pastries there!!

The location is ideal. We wanted to be close to Mt Hood for snowboarding and close to hiking and townie amenities nearby and it really fit the bill. It's a quiet location with neighbors close enough for comfort, while still providing privacy. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Our host was so sweet and welcoming! She even allowed early check in due to the snow storm. The house is so cute and cozy especially the fireplace and hot tub. We had a blast celebrating my birthday with our pups! Dog towels, treats, and dishes were provided.

The property was so peaceful and beautiful. We could get our fire to stay lit but that was probably due to some fault of our own. The home was so cozy and inviting and had everything we needed. The hot tub was our favorite, of course. The hiking trails nearby are super magical. The vibe was so romantic and perfect that my partner proposed to me right in the home :) we will definitely be back!

Renea has such a cozy and sweet little house! Location could not have been better for us visiting friends up the road for Thanksgiving, kitchen is well equipped, bed is very comfortable, super dog friendly and the hot tub under the stars was an added bonus. Renea was a great host, responsive and accomodating. We hope to book here again, loved everything!

My husband and I were searching for a spot to celebrate both our birthdays. In much need of some rest and relaxation, this cabin checked all the boxes. We loved the decor and thoughtfulness of the owners. The absence of a tv in the main living room was wonderful. We were able to listen to music and enjoy each others company. The hot tub was amazing and we used it many times. The bed was comfortable and we both exclaimed when we turned out the bedroom light that it was so dark! No outside light kept us awake. I usually don't sleep that well the first night of somewhere new... but I had an amazing night sleep both nights. We went on a nearby hiking trail that was lovely and cooked a wonderful dinner in the kitchen. It was everything we were hoping for. We will definitely bookmark this property to visit again in the future!

My husband and I stayed at the cabin for 4 days and we loved every minute. The cabin was very quiet but close to restaurants and grocery store. Great location for hiking in mount hood.
The cabin had everything we needed. The host even supplied shampoo/conditioner and body wash. Also had coffee beans and a grinder for a great cup of coffee each morning. We also enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after a day of hiking
We would definitely stay here again

This was SUCH a nice place to stay. The cabin is beautiful, as is the surrounding area. Renae added so many thoughtful touches such as a towel warmer and robes for the hot tub. There were games, a dedicated TV room, extra pillows, and plenty of blankets. Renae was very communicative, super friendly, and responsive. I would highly recommend this place for couples, and dogs were allowed. Renae also provided dog bowls, dog towels, and doggie poop bags. I would stay here again for sure.

We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful area. Very quiet. All the light bulbs were so dim and some extra dusting on lighting and up high was needed. We did get tiny ants especially in the kitchen. But we had a great time and I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you.

This is by far the best stay I've had in Mt. Hood. It's a beautiful place, well decorated, has everything you need. Quiet and feels very private, and the hot tub was absolutely fantastic. Close to everything. A perfect oasis in the woods. Will definitely be back again and again!

Love, love, love this cabin. Even better than the photos! Perfect size for our family of three and had everything we needed. Comfy bed, cozy space and the hot tub is an extra bonus. It felt very private, even though there are neighbors nearby. We enjoyed watching all the juncos and varied thrush in the backyard every morning. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return!

This is a very nice place, cozy and warm. The hot tub is so nice to relax in after a long day. There’s even a towel warmer outside too. The bed is very soft and comfortable. My daughter said the pull out futon sofa was also comfortable. My son decided to sleep on the big sofa in the living room and was quite pleased with how comfortable it was too. There are many thoughtful little extra things that really make this place special. Everything was excellent and we will definitely look forward to staying here again!

This place was perfect! We loved the hot tub, the privacy, the wood stove, and most importantly: really close access to trailheads and great hiking! We also enjoyed the short walk to the Zig Zag Inn and not have to worry about driving in the snow for the short trip.

This property was immaculate. Towels and extra blankets were thoughtfully placed in easy-to-find placed. Bedside lamps included USB charging outlet. Both TVs had a plethora of subscription services for the nights we just wanted to relax and watch something. Also, very close to many of the best trail heads in the area - this saved us so much time. Close to so many good food options and right across the street from National Park Station. Clear and easy check out instructions. This place is fantastic! A must stay!
