El personal muy amable. El desayuno muy completo
Muy caro por ser una hostal de 3 estrellas

We loved the decor and the care taken over the little things: nice big mugs in the rooms, designed by local Skye artist; decent coffee in rooms; really good interior design. Lovely dinner - great fish! Friendly staff. Great breakfast and I was delighted to have a lovely pot of tea.
Our friends had accommodation in the hotel next door, which has recently been taken over by the Plockton and not yet decorated, so they didn’t have the same level of interior design as us but I gather that will be happening soon.

Meerblick.
Essen war lecker. Freundliches Personal!
Das Bett hätte etwas breiter sein dürfen.

Plockton is a well known spot and even in late winter, it retains a charm. The Inn is a lovely spot and the room was good, well appointed and has an excellent bathroom.
A couple of minor things - the room was very hot despite doing what I could to reduce the temperature and the pipes were noisy. Small issues really. Oh and in a good breakfast, the beans were uber salty.

The room, freshly upgraded, was comfortable, bright & all we expected
The public areas were freshly redecorated but lacked atmosphere, badly lit & totally disjointed. Lacked personality & the food/dining was overpriced.

Plockton Inn is one of those places you have to try. We love it as a stepping stone to the Outer Hebrides, but I could be happy there for days or weeks. Really good people and place and food and really everything.

Newly renovated, but with the authentic vibe. The staff, the food, the beds. Very lovely stay in the cute Plocton town!

property was well maintained and clean. beds were extremely comfortable too. Staff were helpful and friendly and the food was good too.
I was visiting Eilean Donan and it was just a little too far away for me but that was my fault not theirs. Could do with better heating as only
small electric heaters in the room.

Fantastic breakfast, friendly staff, spacious and warm accommodation with gorgeous views
The shower looked a bit tired but worked fine

Great breakfast. Nice staff. I stayed in a room across the street from check-in. They allowed me to check in slightly earlier than the stated time. Comfy room. Would have liked it to be a bit warmer (heater-wise...didn't seem to heat the room up too much but maybe I didn't know how to work it). Comfy beds and blankets. I was warm. Flat Screen TV.
They evidently tentatively made a dinner reservation for me although I didn't request. I just cancelled it upon arrival. I did not eat there due to prices being more expensive and reading the food wasn't just great. However, I did not try it. Instead I had lunch and dinner at Plockton Shores, a short walk away overlooking the bay. Very reasonable pricing there and great food, too.

great location in the village.
we stayed in the annex across the road from the main hotel and the attic room could do with a refurb. the shower sealant was black with mould and the toilet in a tiny room where you kept hitting your head on the low door frame. my husband is quite tall and for him the room was a nightmare
given the cost of the stay we thought the room was disappointing. I think if we had been on a different floor or in the hotel itself we would have had a different experience
dinner at night was also disappointing. the fish pie was all mash potato and very little fish. overall the dish was bland and didn't really taste of anything apart from lumpy mash.
