This was the perfect place for us while in Steamboat. Great location, great communication with the hosts, had everything we needed, etc. Would stay there again!

We had a fantastic time at Walton Creek Lodge. Everyone had plenty of space inside for a large group and the back garden with all of the snow gave us a perfect little sledding spot for the young ones. It was a very quiet neighborhood and great walking areas. We would definitely book here again in future. The only issue was the noise in one of the downstairs bedrooms when the upstairs heating unit was on. Other than that the stay was perfect!

Nice stay. Location is easy access to the his for skiing. House and checkin were great. House was not super clean.

We had a great stay in steamboat. So much space in the cabin to spread out. The shuttle was so convenient and quick. Would definitely stay here again.

Completely lived up to expectations! We will return.

Great house located adjacent to a large park with walking paths and a stream for the pups to play in. The house was perfect for our family getaway with 4 couples and dogs. There’s easy access to the Core Trail that goes into town. We’ll definitely be back!

My family and I stayed for 3 nights and it was a beautiful property. the backyard is great to run around in but it is not fenced in and there are many dogs off leashes in the park and adjacent properties. The park next door is very busy with kids and dogs all day. also the hot tub was very clean but the jets did not work.

This was the perfect spot for our family! We were there with four teens, and grandparents. Everyone had their own bathroom. Incredible views, lovely hot tub, and a well appointed kitchen. We were even able to bring the dog! We will certainly be back!

The property was great and we were only a short walk to the shuttle pick up for skiing! We would definitely plan on staying here again if/when back in Steamboat.

Amazing place for a larger group of adults to stay. Well-furnished/supplied bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. The included shuttle to/from the slopes was an AMAZING benefit. Renters were easy to get a hold of and quick to respond. Would absolutely stay here again.

Everything about our stay was great. Only complaint is one of the rooms downstairs is very hot and the other is very loud because of the heat-pump/mini/split A/C for the room above it is located just outside of the room. Would stay here again for our annual trip because the house is very nice with enough bedrooms and bathrooms, has a hot tub and is located right next to the park/ free bus stop. Thanks for accommodating our family we had a great stay had a great time on the slopes and at the house.

The fireplace didn’t work. The windows had large orange stickers on them saying that there were broken windows that needed replacing. Couldn’t open curtains to enjoy viewing the snow because there were large orange stickers in the center of them. Upon initial walk through, after 15 hour drive we noticed the first cups we grabbed to make a tea had spaghetti sauce on the rims. A spatula had cooked egg on it. 2 blue throw pillows placed on top of made bed had human fluid looking substance dried on them. I photographed these, the dents on the fridge and chewed corners on stairs so they wouldn’t be blamed on my pets or us. We were only 2 people and our 2 well behaved dogs. The house rental was so that our dogs could experience snowy walks for our probably only road trip to the mountains and snow. I wanted to let itripsteamboat know about the initial findings. They offered to take care of the pillows and dirty dishes but I told them “no worries” that I would put the pillows in a closet and probably not go upstairs, where the bed with the dirty pillows was. There was a record snowfall so we spent a lot of time indoors on the first of 2 full booked days. After a good night’s sleep and with fresh eyes we wanted to sit and watch the snow fall in front of the fireplace. The fireplace was broken. We pulled open the curtains to reveal large stickers warning that there was broken glass that needed to be replaced. Now we looked further around the house for places to relax as that was the option at this point. There was dirt in almost every corner, up the stairs etc. the chandelier above the cooktop in the island was coated in the layer of old dust on grease seen in dirty restaurants I’ve inspected . There was dripped food on the fronts of cabinets. There were no bath towels in the upstairs. I had called to ask how to check in as the email had gone to spam. This was the day prior to arrival. I asked if early check in was possible so I would leave the Colorado Springs hotel earlier if it was allowed. They said one hour early- no problem and 2 hours yes for an hourly fee.. Since it actually came to over five racks for the 3 nights (2 days) another few bucks for 2 hours earlier off the road and out of prior hotel was no problem to me. After spending the first whole day seeing how dirty the place was we decided to leave a day early. I texted that we were leaving but got no reply. 12 hours later we got a text asking if we were clear on how to check out. Argumentative

We loved this property for our Thanksgiving Feast and relaxation time. Having a primary suite for each couple was perfect, a large space for us to all be in at one time and the "teen hangout pad" upstairs so they could stay up later and not disturb the rest of us was ideal. The open bathroom upstairs was interesting (only one door), but the teens figured it out so they had privacy. The hot tub was perfect during the evening, and we loved being near the park and path for the dogs. Each part of the house was just right for us. The management property was very clear with communication and answered questions easily via text during our stay. We recommend this property for large groups.

We would return to Walton Creek Lodge in a heartbeat. Clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything from cooking essentials to pots and pans to dish ware. Walton Creek Lodge was close to everything yet felt secluded. We were even treated to a pair of moose running by!
The upstairs apartment is ideal for a family with young kids who might get up or retire earlier than the rest of the crew.
We enjoyed happy hour and grilling on the back deck as we watched the sun set and star gazing in the hot tub before bed.
Awesome house!
