Great location and relaxing stay

This property was truly a retreat! It had everything imaginable in the condo. Nice, quiet, peaceful condo setting, right on the water. We felt like we were the only ones there. Rum Point’s Solis Restaurant next door, incredible snorkeling under the Rum Point pier, and a warm pool to end the evening in. We swam with turtles, stingrays, and beautiful fish right in front of the condo. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

We always stay at The Retreat.

This location and place was perfect as it was away from the cruise ships and crowds. We had a rental car and it’s easy to get around the island. Restaurants like Kaibo, Calypso and Tukka are good and not far. Place was clean and they had everything to make us feel at home.

Lovely location, quiet and peaceful. Beautiful area with outstanding views of the ocean. We enjoyed coffee every morning under our favourite palm tree watching the gentle waves roll in to the sandy shore. If you are looking to relax this is the place!

Everything was great about this property…. Quiet at night, and beautiful beach in front to laze away the days!! Even bikes were included in the unit for short exploring trips. We hope to return again.

Nice stay. Communication with owner wonderful. And few issues resolved quickly. Enjoyed bike with great safe rides to Kaibo and starfish point. Proximity to Rum beach is nice and they were in the process of opening restaurant. Beaches fair with shallow water and lots of grass but very calm and enjoyable. Appreciated the umbrella that was purchase for our stay. Place was well stocked with plates and cooking utensils. Would definitely return.

Perfect location. Perfect house. Very clean. As pictured. This was our third visit to the Cayman islands. We chose to stay in Rum Point this time for the beautiful snorkeling and this property was perfect. Very quiet and low key. The host answered all of our questions in a very timely manner, and we really enjoyed our stay. FIVE STARS!!!!!

We loved the location of this property. Away from the touristy areas. Walk right off the porch for amazing snorkeling. And basically a private beach. We will be back !

We enjoyed our stay at the retreat at Rum Point. The condo was well stocked and clean. It was our first trip to Grand Cayman so it took a while to get our bearings and find what we needed. There is limited shopping/ restaurants in the Rum Point area, but the East End has a Fosters Grocery and is about a 25 minute drive away with little traffic. There is a restaurant next door at the Rum Point Club, that was not busy and the food was excellent. We enjoyed relaxing on the quiet beach, Star fish point and Stingray city tour.

Very clean, spacious, and tastefully furnished condo. You will find everything you need, including 2 bicycles, beach towels, snorkeling equipment. Great location, quiet, beautiful, snorkeling right in front of you. I would call it perfect, if not the 5 story building of the "Rum Point Club Resort "next to our condo. This construction distracts the view from the patio. We found very good, simple restaurant, Tukka East End, on the east side. We went there 2x, and everything was very good, highly recommended. The closest place to eat is Kaibo restaurant, which was just OK. The closest store is Chisholm's Grocery, convenient but very expensive. We did weekly food shopping in Hurley's supermarket in the way from airport, and it was good move. You will find in the condo only salt and pepper. Bring you coffee, etc.... We recommend visiting Botanic Park, not far from the condo, very interesting place. Overally great place to stay! Jolanta S. NJ

This is the best place and condo on the island. Photos are accurate and it’s really 5 star. Quiet safe and lovely beach and comfortable and nicely furnished condo with bikes. Great snorkeling off the beach and beautiful pool.

We found this place a great spot to relax, play some tennis and snorkel. Loved having the bikes to run down to Starfish Point as well. Snorkling was perfect right around the corner. :)
Condo was clean and set up very nicely for our 6 day trip. Pizza at kaibo was wonderful.

Very clean and well furnished convenient ground level steps from the beach with everything you need. Appreciated bikes to use. Staff and other guests and owners are very friendly and it’s a welcoming community. Snorkeling here is very good and best on island. Once Rum Point is completed next door for rentals it will be the best location for water sports on the island. Beach is lovely.

Very nice property with a nice beach front and water. Away from the hustle and bustle of the capital and seven mile beach. Rum Point was a very relaxing vacation for our family.

The Northside Rum Point location was so peaceful! It is an hour drive from the port, which means there are far less people around. Rum Point Bar had just reopened with a limited menu, but it was very tasty and the drinks were great. Kaibo Beach BQQ on Tuesday is amazing! The condo offered a lot of recreational items including 2 bikes (men's & women's), a community kayak, snorkel gear with fins and floats. If you are looking for nearby activities, Cayman Kayaks offers tours from Rum Point, Ocean Frontiers offers tours from Kaibo Marina and Red Sail Sports has started offering tours from Rum Point again. Be sure to snorkel straight from the private beach. And within a quick drive you can explore the Crystal Caves and the Botanic Gardens. The condo was well equipped with kitchen basics, beach towels, and other very useful beach items - even a Tortuga Rum Cake was waiting for us. Be prepared to bring any food items you will need including coffee - this just takes a little extra planning is all.

A cozy, clean, and comfy stay in an amazing location. On the quieter side of Grand Cayman (away from the cruise ship side of the island) provides some of the best snorkeling just off the properties beach. Nice neighborhood to walk or ride the bikes through. Plenty of beach lounging opportunities and right next to the bioluminescence bay. The kitchen and small grocery store down the road made cooking/eating in a breeze but also amazing restaurant options not too far away. We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again when we return to the island.

Snorkel in the best area of the island right off your back doorstep!

Close to the beach. This place was clean and very comfortable. We were not lacking for anything. They even have 2 bikes with the unit which we didn't use but still was appreciated. Rum point is closed down but that made the area just quieter with less people around. Good drift snorkeling off the beach. Get in at Cayman Kai and float past dock at Rum point club and come in at beach on property by Rum Point dock. Also if you want to just stay close to shore there is a lot of life right off the beach at the complex. Closest good restaurants are on the east end. Tukka is the absolute best especially Taco Tuesday and the Italian Kitchen isn't bad either. Big Tree BBQ is also very good. Over the edge is closer but food is sub-par and service is terrible. If you want a great place to stay that is quiet, clean and near good snorkeling this place is awesome.
