Although our check-in was rather challenging, once we were able to gain access to the house it became aa lovely stay. Our host, Angelica, was very responsive to our needs. I don't place the blame for our check-in difficulties except to say that the info on VRBO was not up to date.
The house is lovely and spacious and was comfortable for a family gathering of 8 folks. Entrance is through the ground level where there are 2 bedrooms and an additional door is on the second level. There are an additional 2 bedrooms on the third level. We found the beds quite comfortable. There were lots of towels for use in the house as well as several for the beach.
The spacious kitchen was well stocked with utensils and lots of glassware and plates as well as toaster, blender, griddle, etc.
In summary, we had a lovely time on Labor Day weekend in spite of some weather that limited our beach time. The cozy living room and board games allowed us to remain engaged and comfortable in spite of the weather.

Superb experience! Definitely would stay again! Home was very clean, linens and towels smelled so fresh. Stocked with all the essentials + extras. Felt right at home. Spacious, we were comfortable and happy the whole time. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Central location. I travel often with VRBO and this listing is on my top 5 list. I hope it’s available next time I visit the area.

Beautiful home, amenities, cleanliness were great!

The property itself was good. It was clean except for some little gnats in the top floor bedroom that bothered my daughter. It was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, towels, beach chairs, etc. It’s close to several restaurants and the ferry to NYC. The lowest floor was humid and a little mildewy smelling when we arrived, but I ran the self cleaning feature on the washing machine and the dehumidifier and it got better. We enjoyed the neighborhood cat who liked to roam the yard and say hi to us through the glass doors. The biggest problem we had was checking in. We were given instructions on how to gain entry to the property, but we could not find the key where we were instructed to pick it up. We called and texted the owner and VRBO multiple times for assistance, but no one was able to help us. The owner did not respond and VRBO suggested we find another place to stay. So, we waited for a few hours and then finally checked into the only hotel we could find nearby with availability. We got the last two rooms they had at that hotel. The next morning the owner apologized and refunded the money for the first night and got us a key for the rest of the trip. She was apparently overseas and had not received our calls. However, we spent more money to reserve two hotel rooms at that hotel than we were refunded. Everything was fine in the end, but it’s just not a great way to start a trip and an inconvenience to have to move after 1 night.

Great house for our vacation. We split our time between the local beaches and NYC.

The house had all the basics (kitchen, bedding, laundry) needed for our family. It was clean (except for these little gnatsin the kitchen), inviting and cozy, yet spacious enough for all 8 of us. Our only issue was the lack of storage/closet/dresser in the 2 main downstairs bedrooms; staying a week we would've liked to put clothes away

Beautiful spot with ample space for a multi-generational family to spread out (as needed)!

Quiet and safe neighborhood within a walk to the beach or a very short drive. This house was clean and comfortable with all of the amenities that you need, including laundry supplies, beach towels, a beach cart (in addition to your standard kitchen and bathroom supplies). The owners were extremely good with communication and answering questions quickly. The third floor was perfect for our 3 children (there is room for 4), and the bottom floor was great for the 4 adults. The house has window unit air conditioners which all worked very well to keep the house cool. It was a very easy and enjoyable stay and gave everyone room to spread out and relax. Street parking was free and always available right in front of the house. It was a short drive to Red Bank shopping and to the beach boardwalks.

We recently stayed at this home for a long weekend while in the area visiting family. The home is furnished nicely and has plenty of room for everyone. The beds and bathrooms were clean and tidy. The neighborhood is very quiet, and not too far from things. The parking is street only, and limited to the 2 vehicle spots in front of the house, any other guests would need to park elsewhere. Communication with the host was prompt and polite. Check in and out was very simple as well.
This review would not be completely honest without mentioning the one downside we experienced here, the smell. The bottom floor smelled strongly of cigarettes/tobacco (despite this being a non smoking rental) and the upper 2 floors smelled (fairly strongly) of cat urine, with the 3rd floor being the worst. This was something we found incredibly hard to ignore, to the point where we went out to purchase air fresheners to use during the stay.
Overall a great place to stay with plenty of room, would be a 5/5 if the owner could somehow eliminate the odor issue(s).

We had a great time here. The house was perfect for our family of 5. Newly renovated, really nice place. Great location, accessible to Jersey Shore beaches and the ferry to take you into NYC. The host did a great job of communicating with us throughout our stay and ensuring that we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this place and would absolutely stay here again.

We loved staying in this charming house near the beach. It was super clean, and had all the things we needed. The house was decorated beautifully, beds were comfy, and we felt at home. It was also a short drive to the beach which was awesome! Private back yard was great to sit on the patio and relax after a beach day!
