We booked this house due to proximity to hub and mountain bike trails. House was perfect location, super clean and had all you need for a stay. House is off main road, which we knew, but traffic noise was not an issue at all. Big backyard, awesome bike storage in the basement, as well as a tool and cleaning station in the back yard. Did not use fire pit due to time and weather, but next time. We will book this house on our next trip.

This home truly felt like a beautiful retreat! Every detail the owners have poured into the decor, furnishings, mattresses, beautiful touches like top end appliances, coffee bar set up and food/water bowls for any pets, made our stay that much more enjoyable! Our mom was born in the area and we visit each spring and summer to spend time with extended family nearby and place flowers at our mom’s memorial. The location of this home was perfect as it is close to Pisgah Forest entrance, downtown and shopping. The sunset view of the sun going down in the national forest that you can see from the back deck is gorgeous! The large fenced in backyard provides great space to be outdoors when the weather is nice and plenty of room for any pets to roam safely. It was quiet at night and just a great, comfortable home! Of the houses we’ve rented in the area this has been by far the best for layout, comfort, location, sense of safety and communication with the owner. Would highly recommend if considering a visit to the beautiful land of the waterfalls.

Absolutely fantastic home. This house is designed for mountain bikers. The basement has bike and gear racks while the backyard has washing and maintenance areas. Our bernedoodle loved the expansive backyard with the tall fence. The house was clean and had everything we could need. Definitely a winner!

Big backyard for dogs, fire pit, pretty much everything you need in the kitchen, not far from downtown Brevard. Not far from the Sliding Rock or Looking Glass Falls either. Host was responsive.

Our family of five adults, plus one dog, stayed here in August 2022, and it was one of the best rentals we've ever found in Brevard - just perfect for us!
The owners truly care about their home, and it shows. This visit, upon arrival, was no different. The place was clean, well stocked and even tastefully decorated for the Christmas holiday. Just lovely.
No one thought that Mother Nature would negatively affect our visit this far south. But we lost power for about 6-7 hours during the bitter cold temps, only one house of about 1,000+, during daytime hours, at least. That alone turned out not to be so bad on a sunny day; we had a sweater for our dog. And we got heat back on (6-7 hours later) as soon as the power was restored.
But as the power went out, so did the water. This house has well water. Once the power came back on, we tried everything we knew to do to get the pump restarted and water back on, but it didn't work - likely a frozen well head or pipe. Because it was now Xmas Eve and Xmas Day, and all local plumbers were overwhelmed trying to service other permanent resident's homes where pipes and systems froze in the extreme temperatures, we didn't get running water back in the house before our departure. The homeowners also did their best to try and get it fixed, of course. But when they couldn't, they provided a refund, even though we were able to spend each night of our reservation there with plenty of heat. It was the right thing to do. That shows the character of these owners.
So, we'll be back! Hopefully in less extreme weather conditions.
You should rent this place, too! You won't regret it.

My adult son and I stayed 3 nights to do some hiking in the area. The home is just minutes from access to DuPont recreation area, and on the fringe of Brevard town limits. Home is beautifully updated and exactly as pictured. Kitchen is well-stocked and there are many thoughtful extra touches throughout the home. Beds are comfortable, and we felt right at home. Our pup loved the fenced yard, and we enjoyed the firepit every night!

This is a great place for a biking getaway. Plenty of room for four guys, cool basement and backyard, and convenient location to town and the riding areas of DuPont and Pisgah.

Cute home with everything you may need. Location on a main road, but is accessible to many other attractions - mountains via two wonderful parks, breweries and cute towns like Brevard, Flat Rock and Highlands. Extra bonus is the large fenced in backyard which was a blast for our dogs!

Our family was in town for a Memorial and five of us stayed at the house. It was perfect for what we needed. Our Goldendoodle was over the moon to have a fenced backyard. Very clean, very stocked and extremely comfortable.
