amazing location, total privacy, sound isolation, terrace, appliances including washing machine and Nespresso coffee maker, excellent washrooms
I wish it would have a cod or a sofa bed instead of a small love seat. sometimes people need to be able to sleep apart (if one is not feeling well or needs more room, etc).

I avoided writing any review but my conscience was bothering me. Plus I kept getting emails requesting a review ! This is a 5 star location with absurdly cheap furnishings, spare amenities, and spartan accommodations. There are no curtains or blinds, just metal hurricane security blinds. Good AC, nice beds, good tile floors, nice sheets. I was not a solo traveler as Booking reports, my husband and I honeymooned in St Martin in 1975 and returned many times until 1985. Then we returned in 2023. Like the entire world, the island has changed a lot. Much more development, traffic, bleached out coral and very few birds. So sad !
Broken antique uncomfortable living room , the horsehair is falling out on the floor. No outdoor furniture except building property so competing for beach lounges is required. Few towels, limited kitchen equipment. Indifferent staff. Internet did not work for 1 of the 2 weeks. Others in the same building had internet but this owner will not spring for a better provider. No reading lamps at all, which was super annoying the first week without internet! Other apartments in this nice building were beautifully equipped costing the same or slightly more. I complained repeatedly so I was given a 1500 credit. Still 2 weeks cost over $4000, NOT worth it! I would have been more than happy to pay 6000 for a decent place. Locals from the area report the owner is notoriously proud , arrogant and cheap. I bet !
