Hallway and room had a faint smell of puke. Blood on the bed and bed sheets, pretty worn room. We found hair and dust all over the room including shower and bed. Walls were paper thin and we could hear other guests conversations in the hallway, also heard all sounds from the elevator. A/C was very loud and did not work well. Staff were nice.

The property is very clean and the design looks nice and the front desk employees are very helpful and kind. However the walls and doors are incredibly thin. I heard every baby and TV and music speaker up and down the hall and every time the elevator opened. (at least it’s not in Manhattan where there would be cars honking and sirens wailing.) Bring earplugs nonetheless!

Nice place and a nice rooftop view. I like it

Very disappointed in the service and cleanness of the hotel.
Our tv didnt work and was told that no one could fix it till the morning. When i turned down the bedding their was dark long hair strands on the sheets snd the pillow cases were stained. We were told thst housekeeping would come the next day. Told the front desk that was not accetpable . So she brought sheets up in a brown bag and said here. Asked if she was going to make the bed, she said no that we would have to do it. I told her that we would like to cancel the rest of our stay. I will never stay in your hotel again. I have told this story to all the people i have visited and will continue to tell what happened to us .

There is a subway station nearby, but it is a bit far from the hotel. There are almost no markets or restaurants nearby, so you have to go out onto the main road. Other than that, the basic facilities provided were good.

Very nice stay with friendly staff and a quiet room in a great convenient area.

Under our bed was filthy. Very noisy at night. Person at the front desk was very lazy, did not want to help us with check in. Exterior of the building was in horrible condition. Would never stay here again.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Liked how seamless check-in and check out was. Would return again.

I don’t like your model. Nightly apartment rentals in soulless buildings are not a hotel equivalent. This property felt like a hostel in the common areas. The room was clean but apart from the nice bedding, it felt like a modern/newish 3 star business hotel. The elevator was a freight elevator, the common areas not inviting nor engaging. I don’t care how nice the sofa is, I don’t want to sit in a cavernous basement, it felt like a frat house decorated by Ikea.

Online check in procedure si a nightmare. But staff si very friendly and helpful. Very nice Roms and wonderful terrace with view.

This place is the worst website was glitching and I gave up on getting my refund looks like they need the money more than I do.

I would describe this as a cool boutique hotel that has stripped away all the extraneous services that you rarely use anyway. Everything is managed through the Sonder app (including the room key!) and all though there are people at the front desk, you don't really need to interact with them unless you have a specific question. Maybe not the place to stay if you're looking for a pampering room service kind of stay, but if your intention is to out most of the day and come back to a nicely designed super comfortable place at night stay here. Also, REALLY NICE SHEETS!

Prices are high but this is always the case in NYC

I have booked the Standard room, but they give us standard accesible room. How come they get to know that i need accesible room, I am 6 feet guy and some things were not according to my height.
This room was allocated to me without any communication which i never requested.

The hotel itself was amazing, clean, staff were friendly and helpful, the views from the hotel were breathtaking - it was located quite close to three different subway stations. Sonder is 10/10.

Great room! Short walk to train station and good options for food and coffee in the area. Fairly quiet but you can hear some noise and sounds from the hallway.

There were no cups to drink water. They had coffee and tea but no cups.

Customer service wasn’t great. I expected much more of this place.

The room was nice and clean, but everything else didn’t look like a hotel. Barely any lobby, hallways look like a hostel. Weird checkout process! After a long flight, you stand by a tiny counter and verify your identity by with scanning your documents - 5-6 step —- required process :((( the people at the reception don’t really do anything not even smile or try to be welcoming. All they say, check your email, complete the process….

Good accomodation close to Manhattan. Fairly new, well kept, close to several metros.

Elevator ... only one. Would take a while during busy times

One of the best experiences, I love how the hotel is being eco-friendly, only providing refillable and good quality of amenities. Using compostable coffee capsules, providing filtered water stations in the common area to save single-use plastic bottles.
And it’s only a couple of minutes walk to Queensboro Plaza 7 train, and everyday it only took us 15 mins to 34 Hudson yards, easy to go to Manhattan. It’s quiet at night and spacious room. Highly recommend if you are here for business trips.

Overall good job.

Great property location near the trains and it relatively quiet area. I would recommend for extended stays near the city. The only thing is that there was someone else hair still left in shower so it was a bit iffy but overall the staff was very nice and very easy to get in.

I was very concerned about staying at this location. However, I will say that this is definitely where I will stay again when I return in a few months. Hotel staff is awesome. Room very clean. There is no breakfast like at most chain hotels but the deli around the corner has that covered. Restaurants are in walking distance and I felt very safe just walking around enjoying the NY city evenings. No parking at this hotel if u have a vehicle. I think there’s a garage a block away but i Uber’d so it didn’t matter.
Enjoy Sonder the Dutch. Great place to stay at a very reasonable price.
