The place was clean, staff was friendly, but the walls are paper thin. Could quite literally hear every word of conversations in the room next door. Plus we were on the ground floor, and the folks above walking around were also quite loud. Also, Flagstaff has data dead zones, and the motel wifi was awful. There were three 'available' networks, and none of them worked. Overall good bang for the buck, and I'd stay there again in a pinch, but I'd look elsewhere first.

I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Flagstaff. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location made for a memorable experience.

This was a good place to stay. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious. The air conditioner was quiet, which has been a rare experience for us in hotels! The sink was located outside the bathroom and was surrounded by a large countertop, which I liked. The shower was large, too. However, there were no cups or an ice bucket in the room, so something to be aware if that's something you want, and the refrigerator was off, so it's necessary to turn that on if you need to use it. The hotel is close to several restaurants and stores. We were there on a weeknight, and we noticed some of the nearby restaurants closed rather early in the evening.

It’s really clean and neat.
4.7
Very clean and polite staff
4.7
Nice, comfortable stay for a night.

Beautiful room. I hate when rooms smell weird, not this one. It was very clean. Owners were very sweet. Definitely recommend this place. Lots of restaurants near by .

This is an older motel that has been renovated with care and attention to details, conveniently located close to NAU, shopping, restaurants, and our favorite bookstore, Bookman's. As a bonus, there is a Starbucks right next door. The managers are great, escorting guests to their rooms and making sure they have everything they need. Often when traveling we find even the nicest lodgings have super hard beds and too firm pillows. Not so here! The bed was perfect and we slept like babies. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

The owner/manager was very nice and walked me to the room to show me a few things, e.g. TV and AC functioning. The room was cute and clean. There were two things that weren't perfect - (1) there was no top sheet under the bed's comforter, so that I had to be covered by a comforter likely used by previous people. That made me uncomfortable; (2) the curtains did not close securely so that no one could look in; I placed cushions up against the curtains strategically (it took 3). It would have been preferable to me, as a solo female, to know they were secure. Otherwise a nice stay, very comfortable bed.

The check-in process was quick and friendly. I arrived before 3 and my room was not quite ready. I returned later to get my key. I was escorted to my room and shown how to use everything. The gentleman confirmed I was happy with the space and I was. The room was very clean. No desk but a chair provided to I could do a little work on my laptop on the bathroom sink counter. I missed having coffee but there is a Starbucks next door that opens very early. The bed was comfortable but I did not care for the pillows.
4.7
This property was located in a convenient area. There were food and coffee options close by, and it was a prime spot to drive to the Grand Canyon, Sedona, and Phoenix. The room was well-maintained, and we really enjoyed our trip!

We needed a room for a night while we explored Flag. First time at Castle Rock and we were very surprised. Sonia checked us in and walked us to our room and showed us how to work the ac and tv while sharing info about the recent remodel. The room was super clean and cute it felt more like a guestroom at a fav aunts house rather than a hotel room. It was one of the cleanest rooms i have ever stayed in. It had the basic necessities including a mini fridge. The rainfall shower was a nice touch. Highly recommend staying here

I believe the owner checked me in, she was very friendly and gave me a tour of the room. The room seemed renovated, clean, decorative pillows on the bed, fridge, working A/C, along with a variety of TV stations. The only non-positive comment is I could hear the sound of a couple talking in the next room though it was not loud.
4.7
Staff was overly accomadating
4.7
Great spot in the heart of Flagstaff.
4.7
It’s a new motel and it shows. Everything was clean and up to date. The location was very convenient with many stores and restaurants nearby.
4.7
Nice place to stay.
4.7
My 2nd stay here...I'll be back!
4.7
Renovated and very clean. Nice beds. Owner was very nice and gave a tour of the room to explain how to use the heater controls. Coffee in the room, however it is located between a Starbucks and McDonalds so it's a 1 minute walk for other coffee if thats your thing. Will definitely stay here again.
4.7
Very friendly reception. Room was newly renovated and very clean. Was away far enough from freeway and train tracks. Would recommend without hesitation.
4.7
The owner Sonia is a friendly and nice, gave a lot of advice. The property is old, it took time to get hot water, there is no place to put the cloth in the bathroom
4.7
Clean, friendly staff and owner. Convenient. Great location, safe area, quiet despite being on a busy street. Only nit is low water pressure makes showering a bit of a challenge if one has thick hair.
4.7
I was surprised there was no secondary locking mechanism on the door.
For those of us with smell sensitivities, there was too much fragrance used in the sheets and towels and there is plug-in air freshener.
Otherwise, it was very comfortable.
There are plenty of nearby eateries and shopping.
4.7
It was clean recently renovate and tastefully done for an older small hotel
4.7
This is definitely an older motel, but the owner has really fixed it up nicely. I normally would shy away from older properties but the reviews made me feel confident that we would be okay. We were only there for 1 night and our room was spacious and clean. The heater worked great and was quiet. The property is kept up nicely. I only encountered one staff member and he was super friendly. There are several eating establishments within walking distance and the parking lot seemed safe and secure. We would definitely stay again.

Phone check in was odd and uncomfortable in cold, windy, rain.
Room cleaned disinfectant left strong smell. All else was fine.
4.7
This place was perfect in every way for our trip. I highly recommend this place. From check in to check out it was A
4.7
Great place to stay

The hotel looks to be recently renovated, and the bedroom and bathroom were very nice. Sheets on the bed where the smoothest I’ve experienced in a while… Very nice. A few plastic glasses on the sink counter would be a nice touch.
4.7
Good hotel. Clean and cozy. Will stay there again if I come back to Flagstaff

Sparkling clean

Property manager was very nice and took the time to show me my room and make sure everything was alright when I checked in

Great stay. Love that they are making upgrades. Cute quaint place. Shower was huge.

I needed a place to crash for 2 nights while taking my Advanced Trauma Life Support Class in Flagstaff. I found this gem with incredible reviews on Hotels.com. I love to stay at non-chains whenever possible because I feel like it gives me more of a local feel. The staff here was amazing, the rooms recently renovated, right in the heart of downtown Flagstaff, walking distance to so many restaurants and even Target. I plan to stay here again!
