The stay was amazing, the views absolutely breathtaking, and the closeness to the water was wonderful. The staff were extremely responsive to any questions I had. The only concern we had was with parking, there is construction being completely in the area at the time of our stay so parking was not ideal during certain times of the day, but the property managers addressed and provided solutions to concerns I had. I will be back for another stay.

We would not stay here again. There is not nearly enough parking for the amount of cabins there. There was a very large group there that took over the whole common areas. We couldn't get to our cabin without walking through these large group gatherings because they used the whole common area. The common area is way too small for the amount of cabins rented. There were no chairs to sit on at the beach. Its much more run down than the advertised pictures show. Our cabin had no rugs. Outdoors is all sand; that sand was all tracked in. It rained so we were indoors more than we wanted. The TV was mounted above one of the doorways. Way too high to sit and actually watch something; but the wifi didn't work for the tv anyway. The ad for reserving says that towels are provided. A couple hours before check-in we were texted that towels were not provided. The cabin really only had the bare minimums. And get this-ONE coffee mug. ONE! I texted the owners and they said they'd bring one over. We did not receive it until mid-day the following day when we weren't there. They let themselves in while we were gone! We didn't like the feeling of them entering with all of our stuff in there when we weren't there, but they did leave more coffee mugs. Hot water was very sporadic. The lights flickered constantly. Every dish we wanted to use we had to wash first. It was just yucky.
The view of Lake Huron was very nice. However, we didn't leave our windows open because of the large crowds outside.

We had a great stay with beautiful view from our cabin but the place needs a little upgrade, such as the couches and the lamps. When we came, the floor was full of sand as well, like it wasn’t vacuumed or swept. The swing outside had a hanging wood in the bottom, which was not safe for our kids and we noticed people were still sitting on it. It was just a matter of time that it will collapse. The place could use some more amenities for the guest. On the website, it says there’s a playground for the kids, but we didn’t see one on site. There’s also only two bonfire available for everyone to use and we were unable to get one since it’s all taken by other guest. Overall, it wasn’t bad- our kids and us enjoyed the view and playing in the sand and water but there’s some room for improvements 😊

Had a wonderful time with the family! The beach frontage here is amazing.

It was a great location. Private beach was very nice. Parking was a challenge at times. Communication could have been a little better with the amenities. Was told we needed bath towels the day of arrival. I had already left and had to stop and buy some. No coffee filters and the coffee maker had old grounds left in it.

Location is the key! Very nice owner, very helpful. Nice people staying, perfect for what we wanted. Unit itself could use a little TLC, four pillows instead of two, maybe salt n pepper on site, a rug outside and inside so you can really keep that sand under control. Overall though, we'd return in a heartbeat, after all, you're outside on the beach the whole time! Or heading five minutes up the road to the super large and gorgeous public beach. Nothing but water, sand, and great swimming!!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Aloha Beach. The owner was reachable and pleasant. We had a clean room, relaxed on the beach and enjoyed an incredible view. We were thankful to be able to enjoy our 20 year wedding anniversary.

I like the beach front.
Somehow the entry code to the cottages was revealed by other guests at the bonfire and every single guest had the same entry code. I felt that was not very safe.

We stayed off season and the weather could have been better. We had an issue with the door lock which could have been avoided if the key code had been texted or emailed instead of spoken over a poor connection. The cottage was clean and roomy. We stayed in the 1st floor bedroom which really needs a new mattress. The location is perfect for viewing Lake Huron without obstruction. Even with the windows closed you can hear the waves lap the shore.

Booked a cottage, got upgraded to better cottage, then while hving breakfast the owner called us, had to move us, due to the cottage we upgraded to was booked the next day. Only complaints one cottage broken screens, lots of flies, the grand upgrade, had to deal with hornets on the deck.

They waited until checkin time had started to tell me they would not be providing bath towels, let alone beach towels. They DO list towels on their site as an amenity. They used the ridiculous excuse of COVID as if they didn't wash linens between guests. Hmm Do they? The bedroom ceiling fan had so much dust it snowed down in flakes onto the bed. There was also no: hair dryer, way to make ice, shampoo, soap for the shower. Kitchen doesn't even have S&P. No place or way to hang clothes or towels. For a beach "resort" it is pitiful.

Relaxing place to stay. I just wish it was better maintained. We were forced to use the AC, because the screens were broken.

We stayed in the Lavendar cabin. It was ok. Needs to be updated badly. Looks like the other cabins are more updated. Couldnt hardly get the slider to open. Had to really fight with it. The condensation for the air conditioner leaked on the floor and ran in front of the slider so we had to keep cleaning it. Has a small propane stove but says you cant fry anything in the rules so we didnt even use it. The bed was comfy. The beach was nice and I loved the string lights that they light up at night. I would stay again but probably in a different cabin.

This was a last minute change and we were absolutely delighted. We were already two hours away from home with another booking canceled and Aloha Beach Club came through in a pinch. They did everything they could so that we would have a place to stay on a very cold February night. The cabin was clean and propery was well mantained. We stayed for 3 wonderful days. Beautiful views. The prperty manager, Allen, and his wife made sure we had everything we needed.

It was nice to be right on the water with a bonfire area and outdoor lighting, but the cabin itself was very musty. The manager was very nice and helpful, and we were allowed to check in early, but on the description through expedia, it said towels and bedding were included, but all that was included were sheets. Thankfully, I always bring blankets, but I had to borrow bath towels and hand towels from my friends I was visiting.

I wish we would have been told before we arrived that we needed to bring our own towels and blankets. Luckily we read a review and read that we needed to bring our own stuff. And our room was changed without telling us and we were trying to enter another cottage.

This property was well maintained and had updates, could use a few repairs, but was nice. Could use a deep cleaning but I was satisfied with the cleanliness of the cabin. Allan, the property manager was nice. The kitchen was not very well supplied. I would definitely tell you to bring plastic silverware, paper plates, and paper towels, plus anything you’d definitely need for your stay, if you are making your own meals. They did have charcoal grills outside every cabin. The owner was nice on the phone. I would definitely like to come back to this property another time.

Didn’t like that we had to bring our own blankets and towels. Didn’t like that our cottage was changed after we got there. Didn’t like that the the air conditioner wasn’t big enough to cool the entire cottage, bedroom was very warm. I think they need to update and or fix a lot of things. The only thing I am satisfied with is, we were able to get a refund.
