We wanted to mix luxury resorts in Puerta Vallarta with a bit more relaxed vibes in Sayulita. Not only through a day visit but for a few nights.
Based on good reviews and a nice price offer from Hotels.com we opted for Ximena. It lived up to all expectations. Good location on walking distance from the beaches. Very nice staff and with good command of English. Clean and modern rooms with good AC and a little fridge.
Roof top pool is not big but not the smallest we’ve seen either. We were almost the only guests using it and then the size was no issue at all. Towels provided for the pool. And a big plus, towels for the beach was also provided by the hotel!!
No meal service at the hotel, but no problem to find breakfast close by. If looking for good morning cappuccino there is a nice place a few blocks down the road, same side as the hotel across from the big sports bar and next to the veterinary.
We mixed very relaxed dinners on no name places with a more fancy option at Don Pedros, well worth a few extra pesos.
Uber from the airport to Ximena cost us MXP 890. No problem to find uber for the return to PV.

Great stay, great location and price. Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. Providing coffee, filtered water and beach towels were a great addition. Would recommend to others going to Sayulita.

The property was very nice, staff was friendly. A little away from the downtown but the walk was not bad. Beautiful property - we will be back.

Great stay, we will be back. Clean, the rooms are so beautiful, wifi is perfect, pool is great, and only a 3-4 minute walk to downtown. Loveeeed it!

Traveled solo. Great place to stay whether traveling solo or with someone else. Clean and spacious room. Friendly and helpful staff - held my bags the day I left until my ride to the airport arrived.
Bed was nice but a little firm for my comfort but did not have too big of an issue getting decent sleep. If you are a light sleeper, play sound from phone/sound machine or bring ear plugs are it can get a little noisy in the morning on the street outside.
Overall great stay and would recommend for anyone visiting. Close to everything.

Staff were incredibly friendly, hotel was clean and the filtered water station on each floor was a great feature.

I was here for three nights in February 2024 and had an enjoyable stay. The front desk team of Joseph and Neo were friendly and supportive. The room was spacious and the shower was huge and divine. I also liked the rooftop pool as an escape from the town when I needed it. I recommend this place if you want a nice hotel near the downtown of Sayulita. It kind of felt like an oasis in the busy town.

This place offers many things that can be difficult to find in Sayulita. 1. Off street parking. 2. A quiet room away from street noise. 3. A swimming pool that isn’t cold. This is my third visit to Sayulita and our best stay!!

Superb service. Upon arrival, staff showed us our room, gave details about features in the room (temperature controls, using the safe, etc). Beautiful, Modder, clean room. Enjoyed the rooftop pool.

Very nice small hotel in walking distance to everything!

Hotel was clean, room was spacious and very modern. No staff available when attempting to checkin. Had to leave the hotel and call to let them know we’re were trying to checkin. Also no staff available at the pool. Walking distance to beach, but beach was very dirty and unable to swim in. Walking distance to center of town with lots of places to eat along the way.

This hotel is not right on town but about 5/10 minute walk from everything along the a road with plenty to see as you walk (its also right by the bus station if you arrive that way)
Everyone was so friendly. The room was modern and big with a boutique look to it.
There's a small rooftop pool (more like a plunge pool) and a rooftop bar with lovely views. They even let me stay up on the rooftop after check out.
I would stay here again for sure

The hotel was convenient to everything, had lovely amenities & was quiet at night (a major plus compared with other properties where you can hear the night clubs into the wee hours) We had a REALLY lovely stay. The rooftop pool was a great bonus & we were glad the shaded umbrellas had been well planned.

We had an amazing stay at Ximena, the property was modern and stylish and the staff went above and beyond! It's a small boutique hotel so It's never crowded and while it's on a busy street there are many curated quiet spaces to relax in. Plus it is industrial/exposed cement style which helps not carry noise between suites. Staff are so helpful and friendly, location is completely walkable, in the quieter north side of Sayulita's downtown while still being less than a 10 min walk in to the night life. Outstanding, we can't wait to stay again!

What a beautiful hotel! We stayed there 5 nights Feb 2023. It is close to everything but far enough away from the hustle of the downtown core. Walk to the beach in 5 minutes. Several cafes, restaurants and grocery stores all within a 2 minute walk.
The hotel is nice and quiet and the staff very friendly and accommodating. Spacious rooms and huge shower. Private balcony for relaxing. Perhaps my favorite part though is the rooftop pool area. Wow! Along with the pool, you have a large shaded lounge area, bar and Sandra will whip up a nice cocktail. I could sit on that rooftop all day.
I would definitely stay here again.

Great location close to all the action but in a quiet location. Rooms are very nice and roof top pool is beautiful

The hotel is in perfect location if you don’t like noise. It’s close enough to the town, but far away enough from the noise. The room was clean, but I didn’t know you had to ask for service to come in daily. Usually it’s the opposite, you tell them if you don’t want them to come in, not the other way around. Another flaw I found was that the room had 2 queen beds, so it should be assumed more ppl are staying, but the side of the shower is completely see through, so if you have multiple ppl staying, they can see while you’re taking a shower. Other than that the hotel was perfect. The pool was nice and the drinks were cheap. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, but that’s okay since there are a bunch of places to eat nearby. Hotel felt safe and was very comfortable. Everything about this hotel was perfect, but the shower thing. I also loved the little balcony we had, even if it was facing the interior.

This hotel is so beautiful! The aesthetic was modern but also fitting for the location. Everything about it was peaceful from the moment we walked into the lobby. The rooftop pool and bar was the perfect place to unwind and take in the views when we arrived. The bartender made some amazingly delicious drinks, she even cut up a fresh passion fruit for our margaritas! All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was in a convenient location between the downtown night life and the beach. Each just a short walk away. We are so glad we stayed here on our first trip to Mexico. We highly recommend it!

We booked this small boutique hotel last minute while we were in Puerta Vallarta. What a great boutique hotel, clean and safe. I wish I were 20 years younger, but that's another story. The design of the hotel and rooms are completely to my taste (it may not appeal to others). We were on the first floor, with a garden view balcony room. You could hear a bit of noise from reception, but for the price, I didn't mind. The roof top pool with bar was a nice bonus. The only downside is that there are no restaurant/food facilities in the hotel, so you cannot purchase or reheat food, unless you get the suite with kitchen. The hotel is new, and it seems they might be putting in a dining/patio area on the other side of reception (its a big open space right now, with stairway ace to the rest of the hotel). Other than that, Nimfa and the rest of the staff (Alex) were extremely helpful and accommodating. We wish we had come a day earlier to take advantage of the hotel's facilities and the rest of Sayulita!
