- It's up a hill (7 minute hike) with no neighours so it's very quiet and peaceful
- All the owners and staff are super friendly
- Clean and comfortable room that's cleaned each day
- Brilliant viewpoint to see the sunset
- Nice outdoor dining/chill-out area with views of the mountains and Santa Marta
- They can have food delivered to the place if you don't want to walk into town
- Well equipped kitchen for cooking any type of meal
There's not many people staying and no activities organized but for me and most people we really loved this because it was a perfect place to really relax, enjoy nature and just move at a very slow pace. I booked 2 nights but stayed 5 and was very sad to have to leave.

Beautifully located an a hill, with a safe distance from the hustle and bustle of Minca, this Casa Quinta is the perfect spot for everyone looking for a place to relax.
It has a nice outdoor lounge area with hammocks, a private mirador 5min up the hill to watch the sunset, a beautiful garden, a well equipped kitchen, a bar in the afternoon, nice rooms, and friendly staff.
Almost everyone we talked to wanted to stay at least a day longer than originally booked and for us it was clear why.
Nothing negative to add here. As others have mentioned, the finca is located up a hill, and you will need to walk a few minutes along the main road from Minca's center and then 10min more up a private road.
It's well worth it and if you feel lazy you can either take a moto taxi or even order food up there.

Rien.

Felt like a hike away from home- super comfy and clean. The view was incredible. The hike up is definitely worth it!!!

Extraordinary and unobstructed view of the mountains. Staff didn't speak English but were still very kind and helpful. Decent breakfast. Wifi was strong in working area but was also good in the room, I was able to video conference from room. The communication was also prompt. Very spacious and clean room. Due to the climb, it was rather quite. Good kitchen setup. Overall a value for money.
Lack of English speaking staff. Although for most part it was ok as one person spoke English and was communicating via booking.com or WhatsApp throughout.

beautiful views from the top of the mountain and the people staying there were fantastic
after the sun set, the 5-min hike up the path to get to the property is extremely dark (no lights, bring a flashlight!)

Everything was great! Staff was very nice and shared helpful information with a map when we arrived. They have a great breakfast that you can order for a small fee. 15000 COP. Fruit and yogurt with granola or eggs, toast, and fruit. Coffee and juice provided as well. Kitchen was nice to use as well and very well equipped. The hostel is located up a steep hill but not a huge issue if you are reasonably fit. They have laundry services as well.
Nothing!

The property and its facilities are very well maintained, the staff is super helpful as well! Nice and complete breakfast.
Although the views are stunning, the road to get there is rather steep.

Nice views around, good kitchen, welcoming staff and great common areas
Dorm room was a bit too hot during the day, could use another fan or something (also for the night).
Climbing up to the Casa Quinta can get tiring after a couple of times

I stayed in the dormitory and it was one of the best ones during my travels through Colombia- very clean, best equipped kitchen - I loved cooking there! The view is amazing and I did some Yoga in the morning at the mirador. And I got very detailed and thoughtful recommendations what to do / eat in town - all in all a great experience, I definitely recommend!!

We had a very comfortable stay here! The room was spacious and clean with a warm shower, beds were comfortable. Location was really nice, only a few minutes walk from Minca in a tranquil environment with a reallt nice view. Very friendly staff, helpful information about the area when we arrived.

Very nice location only 15 min walk from the center of Minca. Everything was very clean and a very well equipped kitchen. You have a very nice view from the hostal and they even have their own viewpoint.
Nothing. Only you have to walk ten min up on own property to arrive at the finca. The owner is nice and will bring your backpack up and down when you arrive/leave.

Very clean. Quiet, mellow vibe. Nice, well-supplied kitchen. Impressive common area with a great view and indoor and outdoor spaces. Good wifi. Spacious dorm room with comfortable beds, good lockers, and a nice bathroom. There’s even hot water (though it was out of gas while I was there). Cool viewpoint up top, and a fire pit area. Great location. Close enough to town to walk, but far enough that you feel like you’re out in nature. Nicolas and Mariana made me feel very welcome and well taken care of.
Nothing, I’d absolutely go back.
It is definitely a bit more expensive than most of the other hostels I’ve stayed in Colombia, but for what you’re getting, it’s awesome, and it’s one of the lower price points in Minca.

everything! the private mirador for sunset and the views from Casa Quinta are spectacular. great common areas for working at a proper desk (with a view) or chilling in the hammocks. the showers even have hot water though you won’t need much in Minca’s heat. purified drinking water on tap. well-equipped kitchen with a few Moka Pots. Wi-Fi worked best in the common area and doesn’t always extend to our double room. we were fortunate enough to catch Daniel who gave us a great rundown of Minca and also had the company of sweet little Tigreta 🐱 be prepared to walk up a steep but verdant driveway for around 7-10mins to reach Casa Quinta, we did it with our 13-15kg backpacks, though it was entirely worth it!
