We loved our stay and are already thinking about our next one.

The house was very clean, well equipped, and comfortable. We loved the privacy of the woods surrounding the house but even more, the wildlife that accompanied it. It was so lovely that we didn't mind staying in when it rained.

It would have been nice to have an 11am checkout time instead of 10am since leaving a weeklong rental requires a bit more packing and preparation.

Big, well laid out house. Too many nits to make it perfect.

Beautiful house and property. Close to town and beach.

Incredibly difficult to find the lock box with the keys - the house was left entirely unlocked. An emergency person was sent to help us find the lock box. The description implied a full bath per room, but we had 4 Bedrooms and 3 bath rooms. The 4th was a half-bath on the main floor. There were too many light switches that didn't work, and a number of light bulbs (in the ceiling) needed to be replaced. We had a gas leak and the doors to the suspected rooms were locked - only a helpful neighbor who called the owner who sent over a person with the key prevented the doors from being broken down. I understand closets with personal property being locked, but not the utility room!! There was not list of local emergency numbers in the house (e.g., fire, hospital) I established a text link to the local VACASA person - that would have been helpful from minute 1. Free toiletries were skimpy or not there. Better to say "bring your own" The doors were high-end Anderson, and locking them needed a special sequence of steps. Yes, the direction were on the edge of the door, but when it is shut, it is hard to see or even know it is there. Luckily the emergency person also happened the mention the "cool doors" and how to lock them.....
