The Whidbey House was hands down the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. So much space, so clean & so homey. We traveled with small children and the amenities (pack n play, high chair, etc) at the house made traveling with less a breeze! We will definitely be booking again for future travel to Whidbey Island.

This house worked well for our short get away. Clean and convenient. Well stocked kitchen. We appreciated the games.

The property was nice and the information accurately described the property. However, I must have gotten this property mixed up with a different location and thought there was filtered water in the home. Because we arrived very late at night we realized the water wasn’t drinkable and had to find a convenience store to buy bottled water. The shower was great except the chlorine smells in the water were overbearing. I’m very sensitive to chemicals. Not the property owners fault, but had someone placed that pertinent information in their review, we probably would have stayed elsewhere. The neighborhood was quiet and the house and yard were very nice and well kept. We felt safe there coming from our country home in Texas.

Very clean and very well appointed. We had a group of 7, the maximum considering beds. One evening our local family visited for diner which grew the group to 12, it worked out great. The owners communicated extremely well before our arrival so there were no surprises or issues of any kind.

The house was beautifully decorated. Just enough decor to make it homey and not like a rental.

My family stayed in this beautiful home for four nights. We cooked every morning and evening. The kitchen is stocked with everything you can imagine! Everything was very clean and super comfortable. We enjoyed coffee on the patio, a nice walk through the neighborhood. My husband and son took the canoe to Langley and crabbed. We took the kayak to a beach and paddled around. The owners communication was excellent. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat! It was the perfect home for our stay.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely and comfortable home. It was extremely clean and had a well stocked kitchen with all of the appliances, gadgets, and spices anyone could hope for. We have stayed in many VRBO homes and this was among the best. The layout of the home was great with plenty of room for all. The dining table seated 8 and there was a kitchen counter for seating as well. The beds were extremely comfortable and there were two bathrooms and a washer/dryer. We had great outdoor space which was quiet with a nice yard for the children to play and watch the deer passing by. They had a pack and play and high chair for young children.
The location was wonderful and we enjoyed time at Double Bluff Beach, Useless Bay Beach, Castle Park play/picnic area, shopping and eating ice-cream in Langley, hiking at South Whidbey State Park, lunch at Greenbank Farm, the Saturday Farmers Market, and wandering through the magnificent Meerkerk Gardens. All these fun activities were within a 15 minute drive of this lovely home. We absolutely loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat. Don't miss out on this gem of a property.

It was a quiet and easy place to stay while we were on the island for a wedding.

The house was beautiful and very clean but when I spend over so much for one night, including a huge cleaning fee, I don't usually expect to have to do half the cleaning. We were asked to empty the trash cans and bring the bin to the curb, strip the beds, wash, dry and put away all our dishes, wipe down the showers and return all the decorative pillows to the correct place. The part that bothered me the most was if guests are washing the dishes, who's to say the last person didn't lick them clean before putting them away? It was all just a little frustrating to me given the expense. It made it much less relaxing.

This place was perfect for a quick getaway moms-weekend! We loved walking into a super clean home that had everything we needed for our stay. It was in a great quiet location and we even saw deer roaming around near the home. We liked the short distance to Langley and also to Ebey Landing. I would definitely stay there again!

Everything about this space was perfect! The communication before hand was spot on—quick response times, clear answers, and welcoming! The house itself was beautiful! It was decorated with a beach, specifically kayaking) theme. Everything was in its perfect place, neat and nice, but it still felt relaxing! We had 3 generations there—my mom (mid 60’s), myself (mid 40’s, and my daughter (almost 4). We all felt we had everything we needed! We visited Langley, Freeland Park, and Bayview Farmers Market. All were close to the house, but far enough that we saw some beautiful landscapes along the way. We plan to return to visit all the other parts of the island we still have to explore. Wonderful time!
