We came for a birthday celebration at the very end of March/ beginning of April. it was such a cute location minutes from Santa’s Village. Since we were at the end of the northern lights season, we weren’t sure we would see anything, but boy we’re we surprised! it was the most beautiful thing and we were able to experience it from our room and walking for less than a mile around the grounds. the staff were super friendly and then even celebrated my birthday with me! would highly recommend!
it was perfect!

Staff working at the restaurant was rude. It might be worth the price if the sky is clear and you can see the Aurora, but during our stay we couldn’t see anything.

location and igloo fantastic .
Not worth the money . Check in 4pm check out 11am - don’t even get 24 hours ! A small table was set with what we thought was a”complimentary tray”, our little boy opened the reindeer chips , but nope - not complimentary ! 8.50 Euros .They were the drinks and snacks from the mini bar in igloo , . why set them out ?? !! My husband explained to reception and she just shrugged her shoulders and said you owe 8.50 Euros. At breakfast had to ask for water twice , food was not replenished quick enough, hanging around waiting on baskets , trays to be filled . Shame really as igloo and location is fab .

the location is good if the main purpose is to see Santa,
otherwise better option with similar price else where in rovaniemi
unlike the other articHotels, no snow shoes and winter cloths available at the hotel
no flexibility for food ( diner )
some staff a little rude.
igloo is good with the sauna option but view from the glass igloo are pointless.
for the price, no good

It is extremely close to the Santa's village, so you can walk within less than 5 minutes. The room was amazing and a very unique experience: we had views to the forest and the whole sky (and could press a button to defrost the glass). We had the opportunity to use the sauna inside our cottage, definitely recommend it! There as complimentary robe and slippers, and a tablet to contact reception/check weather.
We asked for a double bed and we got 2 individual beds put together, which was not very comfortable if you sleep with your partner. The TV was not working properly: it turned off every few seconds. Maybe they could offer sleighs or a method to bring the suitcases from reception to your cottage, so you don't have to carry them through the snow.

Nicely located close to the main Santa Clause village facilities. Breakfast is simple, but good quality and hearty. Staff at the front desk is helpful and hard trying. Some rooms have sauna, which is welcome in this climate 😁.
Definitely not my first choice when visiting Rovaniemi and much weaker than some of the hotels around. No coziness, no caring touch and you're definitely not pampered 😁 even to Northern standards, though a little touches would do, like firing those outside fires for coziness or putting some small cozy nordic detail in the rooms. It reminded me of expensive dormitory. Overall no plans to return.

Room notifications for aurora borealis
Glass igloo roof and stylish interior
Good food for breakfast and dinner
Room heating was not working well upon arrival
But was okish the first night amd good on the day after
Room service consists only of changing of toweld, Beds were not made up
Our igloo had another one in front whom left the outdoor lights on while aurora where visible so we could catch them due light pollution

We expcted for something extraordinary for the price we paid. In general, it was a nice stay with the family at one of the igloos. But would not do that again for such a disproportionately high price.

beautiful view of the sky through the panoramic windows

The crystal on the roof
The annoyed noise in the room with heat machine. I waked up at 1am and 5am, I typed to reception and they couldn't fix it and I said that it was turned off but in the morning we were cold. It was a really bad experience

The glass igloo was the main point I chose this hotel and sadly that was the only thing I enjoyed for this stay.
To be fair I was checked in this hotel after staying two nights at Arctic Treehouse, so I had more negative feelings about it. Firstly we had to carry our own luggages to our room in the snow although they have this “wooden trolley” thing for you to push yourself. The room was quite basic, bathroom was the highlight, only two stars standard I’m not gonna lie. The hair was found in the spare pillow, proved they probably did not change the new one at all, that put me off a lot!
