I love this hotel and enjoyed my stay here so much! The location is perfect, just within 3 mins walking distance to the old Venetian harbour and nearby attractions. The room was modern designed and decorated. I especially loved the bathroom as the shower area was the spacious one I’ve ever seen. I must mention the FREE breakfast here, the restaurant offers a wide varieties of choices at the buffet bar, additionally, I could order other options from their a la carte menu. The food were all delectable!! I’m impressed by their staff member - Mira, i was truly impressed by her passion for work. All of the staff members here are amiable, polite and helpful. With this top-notch accommodation and service, it really value for money.

Perfume smell was overwhelming and lights in room not nice. Convenient location.

Valet parking and easy access to the old town.

Hotel is nice and clean. The people are very welcoming and the service is excellent. The breakfast that’s included is second to none. Don’t go for the pool is small and in the restaurant, kind of a running joke amongst guests. The hotel is the heart Chania and you can easily walk anywhere in the city. We rented a car to explore the waterfalls and beaches and it was worth it. We will definitely stay again.

Excellent place to be for your first time in Crete .Very nice place and the staff are fantastic. The night market is right across the street from the hotel and the park out front. Would like to have another stay at this hotel again.

Excellent Location in the centre of Chania. Very nice modern room with nice amenities. The breakfast was very delicious especially the Cretan omelette and the english muffin. All the staff of the hotel were very friendly and there was a member of the staff who arrange to park/bring back our rental car from the parking place. Overall I highly recommend the Chania Hotel for a stay at Chania town!

Lovely boutique hotel close to everything. The staff is super helpful and resourceful! Marina from the front desk gave me many restaurants and beach suggestions in Crete to discover. Polite and always smiling all of the staff deserve more than 5 stars! The location makes it so easy to walk to the old port of Chania! The rooms are very clean and well designed. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks Chania Hotel!

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Chania hotel. I would definitely stay again. It is in such a fantastic location, walkable to so many shops and restaurants. The staff were always helpful and friendly and the breakfast was amazing. I really appreciated that they give you towels to use if you want to go to the beach. Many other hotels in Greece do not do this. We also enjoyed happy hour at the upstairs pool/bar most afternoons. The Chania Hotel is so quiet and comfortable. It was one of our favorite places we stayed on our trip.

We spent a weekend in Chania, leaving our so-called 5-star hotel, Bella Beach Resort, for a couple of days, and found ourselves in a truly 5-star experience at The Chania Hotel. The staff were impeccable from check-in to check-out, including the breakfast service. They took exceptional care of us and paid attention to every detail.
We'll definitely be back!

This hotel has the potential to be excellent but it is let down by the manager and the reservations team who failed to address their mistake.
Some of the team fear their seniors, resulting in them not making the guests happy but making sure they do not get in trouble.
On the plus side, most of the staff are lovely and the hotel itself is in a great location. The breakfast is great and it’s good to have a la carte options rather than buffet.
The pool is much smaller than the photos - more like a large jacuzzi.
I wish I could recommend this hotel but unfortunately I can’t and I shall never return.

Very comfortable hotel in a great location in Chania. The only thing I missed was an outdoors pool. Breakfast was superb in a great setting on the 4th floor.

Our stay in Chania was fabulous. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I loved the location of the hotel as well as the option for parking. My only suggestion is that the hotel team let the guests know that after 11pm there is no one available to park your car. So beware of this if you plan on returning to the hotel past 11:00pm. You will need to find parking on your own. Other than that, the entire experience was very desirable. A warm mention to the lovely staff at breakfast who greeted us daily with a smile and Cretan hospitality.

The hotel is really good but it’s not a 5 star hotel. The rooms are great and clean, but you can hear people on the hallway so they could improve sound isolation. Female ladies at reception and restaurant are very friendly as well as valet staff but one male at reception was very rude to us. My husband wanted to use the laundry service so we brought our clothes to the reception on saturday end of day and the guy was like “it’s saturday of course it doesn’t work today. Tomorrow is sunday, isn’t it obvious?” No, it’s not obvious, you claim to be a 5 star hotel, we never had this issue before in hotels. Secondly, HE CALLED US AT NEARLY 11PM to ask if we had returned the pool towels, which we had done in the afternoon. My husband complained about him calling us so late and he said “it’s only 10:40PM”. This is really not acceptable. Finally, while ladies at reception were nice and understood our frustration, the manager came to talk to me and I felt extremely gaslighted. And then said “ok sorry but you understand this is an isolated incident right?”, while I do understand that I would love him to tell us that he will speak to his rude staff and better train him to avoid other people going through similar situations. Finally they gave us a candle as a gift. Overall a disappointing stay in a good hotel. Positives: location, female staff being friendly, cleanness and breakfast.

Pros:
Honestly one of the best hotels I have stayed at by far. Very convenient location which makes for a very walkable experience. It was a great feeling being able to shop and then drop my purchases off within minutes or heading home from "The Strip" of bars.
The staff is very kind and Maximo and Anna were very kind. If you have the pleasure of meeting Andre as your bartender try the old fashion his are great and not your typical old fashion.
Rooms are very clean well put together. Bed is bit firm (I prefer this) the bedding itself is quite soft. and if there is anything the last person before you damaged it is made know so you do not experience any unpleasant surprises.
Cons:
Honestly none.
Retrospect:
The only possible one is if you are a health nut and want to bench 600lbs or something along those lines.
There is a treadmill, rowing machine ;please be aware that the straps are bit worn and tough to use so your feet will slide since the holders are a bit worn. Free weights: range up to about 15lbs but are of a sand bagged variety . There are towels for yourself but not to wipe down the equipment (Staff takes care of his ). there is also a bike and i recall a bosu ball and blocks
If you want to use the sauna advise the staff 20 mins ahead as it takes time to warm and is not on indefinitely.

Convenient location just at the border of Old Town where taxis could drop us off. Walk 5 minutes and you're in the heart of Old Town.

Centrally located , first class hotel
Access to entrance is difficult due to worlds in square but once this is complete he much easier

Not at all 5-Star. Very small hotel.
Economy Rooms have no window, but there are digital lights, so even at night it is never dark.
Economy rooms are just 16sqm and shower and toilet are within the room.
Pool is just 20sqm and smaller then my bathtub. Pool is located at rooftop just 5 m beside the restaurant. So during meals there is always a smell of chemicals in the air.
Check in costs a lot of time. They always explain all the hotel facilities and services nobody needs.

It’s in a very busy area, right across from Chania market and very close to the Venetian Harbour. Safe and so many shops and restaurants close by. We arrived on a holiday so the streets were noisy and busy, but our room was relatively quiet. The room was beautiful and clean. The buffet breakfast was located in the same room as the pool. Breakfast service was excellent and food options were good and plentiful. The pool is very small, so I wouldn’t recommend swimming in it. Good place.

Super hotel. Great staff. Nice modern design. Highly recommended. A couple of notes: if you are booking a deluxe junior suite, the room is great; however the washroom is completely open to the rest of the room. Great for a romantic stay, if not here for romance just know that with this room type. Will definitely book again when in Chania.

The hotel, staff are amazing. The only downside is the pool. There is no pool not suitable to swim in and certainly not good to take kids, and no place for sun loungers as advertised.

I was pleasantly surprised by this little gem in the historic district. Nicely appointed rooms with proper AC, wifi, nice bathrooms and comfortable bed. We were greeted by the staff who helped us up the stairs to our room.

This place is new, small 5* hotel in the heart of the city, super location and the staff are so friendly and very helpful.
Please be aware that they have one room on each of the 4 floors that has no windows, it is very claustrophobic. There was no mention of this in any of the hotel room description so on the basic/standard room it will be this one.
Also the bathroom area is not a seperate room it feels like a studio with a glass partition so there is no privacy if you are sharing with someone else.
You will litrally hear everything that happens in the toilet for example.
We couldn't switch rooms as the hotel was fully booked so we eneded up booking another hotel around the corner.
I still stayed there but the wife had her own place and came over each day for breakfast before heading out.
Will I stay there again humm probably not as there are so many hotels in the same area that is worth checking out but if this is your first time in Chania then definately check this place out but make sure you pay the extra for a window/balconey room and if you have a car, message the hotel to reserve a parking space for you. There is an additional charge for this at 15 Euro's per day and you just park out side and hand them the keys at reception for them to park the car for you else where and when you need the car again you ask them to fetch it for you.
Lastly the bed is medium firm, for me I like it really firm so this was too soft.

I ONLY DISLIKE IS THE ROOM IS AND BED WERE OK BUT NOT FOR A PERSON 6'9 INCHES OR 2.03 M. LOL!!! BUT EVERYTHING ELSE WAS GREAT.
