Second time here! Excellent just like the last time! Lovely home, beautiful and clean room! The best breakfast ever!

Host Amanda was very accommodating. Victorian house is beautiful. Great breakfast . Rooms 1-4 are on the third floor so are only accessed by 2 flights of stairs. Many gaming amenities. Pool was closed for the season but looked like it would be great in the summer. Only stayed one night, but a pleasant stay.

What an amazing place. A real satisfaction of the host and the amazing food and hospitality. The place is a perfect stay to set your base and make some round trip of the close surroundings of Lancaster, Hershey, Philadelphia or as far as Washington, New York, Atlantic City for a busy day with a late night return. You could enjoy a 6-7 night there without boring yourself as this place offer amazing game and pool.

We were planning a trip to Lancaster for a couple days to do some sight seeing and shopping. We saw VAAST Bed and Breakfast as a option to stay the night and I am pleased that we chose to stay there. Hospitality, Rooms and Breakfast were all excellent.

Beautiful facility, with wonderful furniture and decor. Navigating the stairs is a bit of a challenge when you are in your mid seventies. Overall a great experience

I felt like I was visiting relatives. The host and hostess were super friendly and kind.
We were about 20 miles from the activities that we were there for, but it was worth the drive.

I travel frequently and first time staying at a B & B. Stayed in unit 5. Really spacious but not as clean as expected. Bugs encounterd in shower stall. Water stains and holes in ceiling tiles. Hair in the freezer area in fridge.Tom was very nice and pleasant no complaints with him. Breakfast was posted as 7 to 9 walked upstairs was given an awkard look by Amanda to be advised that its not ready , left and came back and was chastised due to she burnt the bacon as if it was my fault? Even though Tom was kind enough to ask what i would like the night before? He made up for it buy bringing bacon to my room. I was advised by Amanda to text her when I wanted bacon? Just akward and odd. Steep driveway. Loud noises from screaming kids at 10:30 pm in front of unit 5 which is a gaming room with air hockey table after trying to sleep after enjoying day. Pool water looked scary was advised pool pump was broken. Will I ever stay at a B & B again? No. The Comfort Inn up the street is a little more money but guaranteed full breakfast , quiter and cleaner and no attitudes.

So nice & clean. Thomas, one of the owners, was welcoming and pleasant, really enjoyed talking with him. Quiet, I had no trouble sleeping. Highly recommend!

This place has great potential. I would recommend it for families traveling with young children. The building itself is pretty amazing, with a very clean outdoor pool and Koi fish pond in the back yard. Breakfast was great.
The inn's decor appears to be a work in progress - it was kind of weird to see an electric massage chair and pool table next to the formal grand carpeted staircase, and a hodgepodge mix of work by local artists on the victorian walls. The beds we had were not worth the 2 flights of stairs we had to climb to reach them.
We hope the lovely Vaast family continues to work on their home and wish them the best of luck.

The host Amanda is warm and welcoming. Spacious rooms with cool old home accents. There is a cat and 3 dogs onsite (that do not go in your bedroom) which are all friendly and add to the ‘home away from home’ feel.
Spent the day at the pool and did some light shopping. Def go to Julianna’s Italian restaurant. Massage chair, provided toiletries and all day tea/coffee and healthy granola bars are an added bonus.

Our stay was delightful! Amanda is an amazing host, the house was charming, , reakfast was delicious! We enjoyed a dip in the saltwater pool ❤️ we felt completely at home

Amanda was friendly and personable. The home was historic with lots of wood. We enjoyed playing pool and the prepared breakfasts. They have friendly dogs at the home. We are accustomed to having our room taken care of on a multi night stay, but that did not happen here. The WiFi reception for the television was poor and buffered so often it was not worth watching. Overall a pleasant stay.

3-story older but charming house with high ceilings, so lots of steep steps to climb! Nice shower, 50Mb wifi, super large TV. Hostess Amanda was very friendly and helpful, and provided a good eggs/bacon breakfast. Lots of toys downstairs – massage chair, pool table, air hockey, misc board and electronic games. The three house dogs are friendly and very energetic! We love dogs, but for those who don't, they might be a little intimidating. Lovely pool and patio in back, though the weather was too cold and rainy when we were there to use them. Beds were average, and the mini-fridge was a little noisy, so we turned it off at night.

We loved the at-home feel of this stay! It was a short visit but we were able to settle in immediately. We also got some awesome recommendations from our host on where to check out in the area, restaurants and excursions. We will definitely be back.

We have gone to quite a few b and b's and have seen many houses and this one is very unique and just plain different. The staff is literally the owners who live on the premises and work very hard to make it what it is!

Only stayed for one night. The Hostess was welcoming (unfortunately I arrived about midnight). The 2 dogs made the place feel homey and they were well behaved. Good sleep and everything was well kept and clean. Could night find anything negative to report.

Very nice but needed extra pillows and a night stand on both sides of the bed

this was totally different than what we expected. the Family that owns and operates the B&B welcomed us to the VAAST. Tom and Amanda are awesome, so are their dogs Sky, Storm and Sunami. We had smiles on our faces as we were greeted by Sky every morning. We felt comfortable using the large living area watching TV, or using an incredible massage chair. You want bland go to holiday inn, you want life stay here.
