On the + side: Place was really big for the 8 of us (4 adults + 4 children). Central A/C was appreciated, and 2 bathrooms as well. We were quite happy with our choice of staying outside NYC and taking the train from Journal square - about 10-15 min walk. Neighborhood was ok during the day, but I wouldn't have wandered alone at night (it might be ok, but we didn't know the neighborhood). We could park one car in the designated spot, and had no problem parking the other one in the street (but be vigilant of notices because you have to switch sides from one day to another).
On the - side: cleanliness is irregular: both showers had very obvious mold in them, items from previous tenants were found under the beds. Clearly an ant problem in the kitchen (very small ants). More table cutlery would be needed, and more pots & pans as well.
Located on 3rd floor - to be taken into consideration if you don't want to carry your luggage for 2 flights of stairs (but they're quite large).
Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

The apartment is extremely spacious and well maintained, it was stocked on kitchen and bathroom supplies. There’s a collection of children’s books if you are traveling with a child, as well as games such a chess to play with your friends.
It’s about a 12 minute walk to the train station to get into NYC so getting into the city is a breeze.
The checkout process couldn’t have been easier, you won’t get a 2 page long list of instructions on things you need to do on top of your cleaning fee, just separate trash from recycling.
My wife and I booked this property to go see Hadestown on broadway and we’ve already decided that we would gladly book here again for our next show.

We liked the apartment. It was the top floor of a duplex building in a quiet neighborhood. The train station was a 1 mile walk.
The Property Rep was Accommodating and allowed us to store our luggage before checking jn. (This was a lifesaver for us).
The apartment could use a deep clean, and we had issues with ants jn the kitchen.

The photos don’t do the location justice! My friends and I celebrated that my now husband and I got married and we couldn’t have a found a better location for our needs! The living room was spacious and the rooms themselves were clean and comfortable.

Great breakfast place nearby.

We were looking for a quiet place for our family to stay on our trip to NYC, and this was a perfect fit! What we liked most was the quiet location at the end of a dead-end street. Parking in front of the building was easy to access with a large space. The apartment itself was spacious. We liked the open floorplan for the living area and the ample sleeping options. The unit was well stocked with cooking and cleaning supplies and was clean. There are plazas with options for restaurants and supermarkets about 10 minutes away. Getting in and out of NYC by car was easy. It was a great base for our visit to NYC!

We wanted a place close to NYC for my son's graduation at Carnegie Hall but not pay the expense of Manhattan. We were very pleasantly surprised when we entered the place. It's gorgeous and big with 3 nice sized bedrooms. Very clean. Everything worked. At the end of a dead end street. Near the Path so easy access to Manhattan. We were sad that we only were staying for one night. The owner also is very responsive and willing to work with me.

Everything was great. More instructions available would’ve been helpful. But host was very responsive.

We had a wedding in town and had a great stay in this lovely apartment. The beds are very comfortable, great couches and dining area to gather in. We appreciated having a parking spot, and not having to search for street parking. Communication with owner was prompt.

Family gathering to be present when our youngest got engaged. Such a great weekend and experience.

This listing was terrific. Needed a place to stay for one night for my friends and I and the apartment was more than spacious for us all. The apartment was also very clean and the host was accommodating on all our needs. Would definitely recommend coming here and staying here if you’re in the area. Great spot.

Overall it went well, two of our seven were able to attend. The space was very nice. Kitchen had more than expected. Living area was great but without tv remote. Bedrooms were as described. Tubs were dirty so we cleaned. I booked in June with anticipation of a washer dryer so we could pack less. The washer tub was gone, very disappointed. Area was safe and close to the city where we planned to visit.

We stayed here for 5 days and it was such a cute little place. So easy to walk to the train and o get to the city. House was very open and functional. Would come again!

We enjoyed our 5-night stay at this rental apartment.
The pros: Host Shella is easy to contact and quick to respond; Roomy place with good floor plan; Large TV w/ firestick or roku in every room; Full kitchen w/ dishwasher; Dog-friendly property; Designated parking space on driveway; We felt safe staying here.
The cons: Washing machine was out of order; Bath towels are small and need to be replaced - need more bath, hand and kitchen towels; Repair caulking in en suite bathroom; Bathrooms need to be cleaned more thoroughly; Two whole flights of stairs make it difficult for unloading/loading; Neighbors below were noisy at times.
This comfortable rental property can easily receive 5 stars for each category if the suggestions for improvement are taken care of.

We stayed for several days. Everything was good from checking in to checking out. I would only recommend that .... please replace the washing machine and dryer.

I would stay there again! Apartment had everything we needed for a long weekend stay. Plenty of room for 7 or 8 people. It took us a little while to understand the rail system from New Jersey to Manhattan, but after that, everything was a breeze. The owner answered all my questions in a timely manner. Would have liked a washer and dryer, but other than that, all was fine.

Location and place was great! Had some hot water issues on day one and owners were great to work with and quick to respond. Would recommend to others.

The space is large and accommodating. It
Provided great space for socializing with my family. However the couches in the living room were dirty and stained. We had to cover them in plastic and sheets before sitting on them. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms clean. Towels are worn out and too small. It would be helpful to have more available for use. With some minor adjustments it would be the perfect space.

The location of this property was very ideal for us. Because there were 8 of us, we chose to drive to the ferry and take it over to Manhattan. It was so easy! The place was very spacious as was listed and it was a great place to kick back and relax. The first night, my husband and I had a hard time sleeping because the foot of the bed was higher than our heads and we kept rolling to the middle of the bed. The next night, my husband was going to flip the mattress in hopes of a better night’s sleep, but discovered that the frame was broken by the head and down the middle. We contacted Shella and was very apologetic and said she would replace it ASAP. We just put the mattress on the floor for the remainder of our stay and that worked much better. We loved that a crockpot was available, so we were happy to be able to use that, but measuring cups and spoons were not available , so that made cooking interesting. We also only had 1 dishwasher tablet for the dishwasher for a 3 night stay. When I mentioned it to Shella, she said she would come and restock it herself. We had a mishap on our part before we left and Shella was quite patient with us about it. So, we were appreciative. Overall, we had a great stay and it was a wonderful place for the 8 of us to spread out and relax.

We loved this place. Lots of space for my wife and I, and 3 teens. This fit our needs perfectly for a cheaper NYC trip. We will be back.:)

We really enjoyed our stay. The first 2 days we rode the PATH train into the city and used Uber for the other 2 days. The property is close to the city for a 20 min Uber ride but in the quaintest neighborhood. We had 2 dogs and met several of the neighbors. I would definitely book again. I sent a message to the owner once for help with getting into the city and got a very fast response.

So overall I had a very up and down stay off this rental
Positives:
— The living room, dining area and kitchen were very spacious and comfortable
— The location was good for accessing NYC, with a PATH train station less than a mile away (though I would recommend Uber as it is not a great walk)
— The check in process was very easy and we were able to get into the rental early (around 2:00pm)
Negatives
— The bathrooms were not cleaned well, we found hair in the shower and saw mold on the walls
— While the kitchen space was nice it lacked some basic items I’ve come to expect in a rental. No cookie sheets/flat pans that we could use to cook in the oven and no wine glasses
— The mattresses in the bedrooms were not great. Some were hard as a rock and one had a divot in the middle so my wife and I would both roll toward the center of the bed

We had a very nice stay here with a large family. Everything was clean and the host communicated very well.

Good stay! Just a lot on noice from the people under us. Playing loud music and slamming doors late at night.

The process of booking this property and communication with the owner was easy and great. We didn’t have hot water on our last night, but there was good communication with the owner and we had hot water about 30-60 minutes later.
The apartment is spacious. The downside is the bathrooms are outdated. The caulking in the shower was poorly done and the shower had mold. The toilet had a ring in the bowl, the mat in front of the shower is filthy. We laid a towel on top of the mat to step on as we got in and out of the shower. The towels on the counter in the kitchen were dirty. Every since COVID-19, we started practicing extra measures such as bringing our own Lysol spray and wipes to clean surfaces we would touch/use. I brought my own scouring pad and used that to wash the dishes we used and paper towels to dry. Overall we made it work and it was a good experience. Had the things listed been taken care of, this would have been a 5 star rating all around.

The property was great. The photos and description are accurate. The property was clean and well maintained and also very spacious. easily room for the six adults in our group. Everyone was happy. Designated parking available in a driveway in front. Only caveat is there are two flights of stairs up to apartments and sound does carry from the stairwell. I would stay again.

We had a blast at this property. Few issues. Nothing major we were always able to reach someone.

Property is exactly as advertised- very spacious and good amenities. Shella is also very responsive and respectful. Would recommend to anyone.
