Such an alluring cottage right in the heart of Robin Hood’s Bay, we enjoyed sitting by the log burner drinking the lovely Prosecco that the hosts ‘Iain’ and ‘Angela’ provided - Thank you for a lovely stay!!
There were no towels provided.

The cottage had everything you could wish for. It was very clean. The beds and pillows were very comfy. The water piping hot. It was nicely decorated with lovely accessories. Lovely to arrive to milk in the fridge, tea and coffee, biscuits and a nice bottle of wine.
It isn’t a dislike but not easy to get luggage to the cottage so I wouldn’t recommend for anybody who isn’t able bodied.

We loved the cottage. It was full of character, being so old, but at the same time, had all the modern facilities you could want to make our holiday easy.
The area is beautiful, lots of lovely walks.
There is a good variety of places to eat within walking distance that are excellent.
There is a good bus service into Whitby and Scarborough. We didn't use the car all week!
There was nothing to dislike.

Loved the whole property experience - it is a genuine local cottage, with all the ambience of times past and all the convenience of modernisation. Everything that you could want is supplied, all is comfortable, and the feeling of generations past and history is wonderful.
Maybe a bit more information about access to and in the property - eg I wouldn't have been able to take my 85 yr old mother with me - it's part of the wonderful experience, but needs to be clear.

Noisy seagulls on roof at night but we got used to them after the first night

Beautiful lodging with a lot of love and care evident in the furnishings. Very clean and well placed.
The huge hill to take luggage up and down from car park hahaha.

What a beautiful place to stay in picturesque Robin Hood's Bay. A modern feel combined with a clear feeling of the 16th century cottage history.
Attention to detail throughout the four floors of this lovely home from home by the sea
Well appointed rooms, comfy, cosy, spotlessly clean throughout
We loved the den/games room and thr gorgeous colours, textiles, sofas, soft beds and bedding and easy to use kitchen. Highly recommended. We'll be back.
Really, not one criticism but such case has been taken throughout.

A lovely, cosy and clean cottage in a great location for a 3 night break in Robin Hoods Bay. Highlights included looking around the Bay and finding out more about its' history, food at the Bay Hotel, Scarborough (especially the market and collectibles shop), Boggle Hole and YMCA for food, Ravenscar, Whitby and Brambles Bistro (thanks for the recommend - superb steaks!).
Noisy Seagulls dancing on the roof and chimney pots at first light - I realise this can't be helped and is part of the charm of the area. At least they didn't steal any chips off us!

As soon as we arrived we felt a warm homely feeling. So very clean throughout. Everything you need is provided for to make your stay comfortable. The decor style is just stunning. My wife really loved the flower display in the first bedroom. In her words. It's stunning. My favourite room was the den. It is really brilliant. Again with tea, coffee, kettle. Just so great to play the games provided with a wine. Iain and Angela kept us informed with everything we needed to know. Also they were always at hand if needed. The cottage is in the perfect place for all the pubs and restaurants. Beach is just a few minutes down the cobbled Street with a nice view from the cottage. We loved the Victoria Hotel to eat and the Bay Hotel at the bottom for a drink. Overall, we had a fantastic time in Robin Hood's Bay in a fantastic cottage with fantastic hosts.we loved it so much we are going back.
Leaving to come home

What a beautiful little cottage. Immaculately presented and very clean. Has all the modern day comforts, whilst still retaining it's historical charm and quaint appeal. Great location and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our hosts provided clear instructions regarding getting to the cottage, key availability and communication was excellent.
Thank you, can't wait to book my next stay!

Everything! In particular the coziness and warmth of the cottage, which is really helped by the log burner. The bed is very comfortable and the owners are so very thoughtful and helpful.
Didn’t like’ is too strong. It would be even better if the Roku smart TV didn’t require signing in to every app.

The location is fantastic. The hosts had messaged everything we needed and where to find everything. The house was immaculate and so beautifully decorated and upgraded and it really is the perfect holiday home. We loved every bit of the house and it’s facilities.
Absolutely nothing - it really is perfect.

Everything here was perfect. The hosts are so thoughtful and they have everything written down and electronically sent you are not searching for anything. The cottage is 400 years plus old and has been so tastefully and really beautifully renovated that you have all the facilities you need but also all of the character. It has all the mod cons - Wi-Fi and a streaming box too but the rooms still maintain all the charm and feel of a 17th century fisherman’s cottage.
Nothing it really is a perfect place
