About this cabin rental
This cabin sits on the edge of a ridge over looking the giant hardwoods and pines that cover the property. Off the between path, it’s quiet here, which makes it a great place to put your phone down and get outdoors. Soak in the peace and quiet from the deck that wraps three sides of the cabin, or lounge in the pavilion over looking the crick that flows into the lake. You could have a camp fire in the fire ring and roast some marshmallows or just enjoy the calming flames flickering in the night air! Explore the property for crystals. There’s lots of fun to be had on the biking and hiking trails around the lake too. Conveniently located 30 minutes from Hotsprings and 10 from mount ida, it’s not far from town. Twin creek boat ramp is less than a mile and Denby shores is a little over a mile. The lake is a short walk down the ridge and across the little creek. When the lake level is up you can beach your boat in the large cove! The cabin has most the amenities of a house, there’s no microwave, but there’s a small convection oven and some hot plates. No Wi-Fi! Outside there’s a blackstone griddle with two burners! There’s a queen bed and a hide-a-bed on the main level. The loft has two twin mattresses. You can pull the shades closed for some mid day napping too! Come have some fun!

Everything about this cabin was absolutely breathtaking. It was clean and had the extra little things some people tend to not think of. It was wonderful.

Peaceful & quiet location, meeting the ambience of a cabin in the woods.
The Blackstone grill was an added plus.

We love staying here when we come to Mt. Ida to dig crystals! Super cute little cabin, very clean and comfy. Close to town, but far enough out so it feels like the country. It has a glorious wrap around deck with a nice Blackstone grill that overlooks the woods and a nice firepit. There is a cabin next door, but it's not close enough to be bothersome. We will definitely be back!

We had a beautiful weekend here. The TV doesn’t work & there is no WiFi so be prepared for a no social media stay. Which we really needed and enjoyed. We stayed busy the whole time with lots of things to do close by. All around a wonderful stay! Really loved the little creek. Found lots of rocks & crystals there! We would stay here again for sure.

The location is amazing. The cabin itself looks really nice, beautifully style. But the description is a bit deceiving. For most of our issues we just shrugged. Those shrug it off issues were floors were not clean, there was not a table for dining, the upstairs mattresses are not real mattresses but air mattresses, the sheets were either dirty or were stained, there is a tv but we could not use it since there is no service and we barely had any cell signal (0-1 bars inside, 2 bars outside by the drive). We did have a great unplugged week though. We were happy with our visit until our 4th night. We got back later than usual so it was the first night we were up late, and this gave us the opportunity to see the other visitors staying in the cabin. Being in the woods we expect spiders and bugs. But there were large dark brown cockroaches. We didn’t get much sleep our last two nights. My daughter got no sleep our last night because she dozed off and when she woke up there was another one crawling across the wall. After that she couldn’t sleep at all.

Such beautiful scenery. The creek was a big draw, as my kiddo and I love stomping around in creeks/treasure hunting, and we weren't disappointed! We found some cool rocks/crystals right there in the creek, just a short walk from the cabin. Love those tall cedar trees too! We were fortunate enough to catch a very bright full moon through an opening in the trees one night from the back porch and it was amazing. The cabin was very nice, clean, and felt fairly secluded at night. The wrap around porch was super nice, along with the Blackstone out there. We went crystal mining and the cabin was very close to numerous options for places to go, which was excellent. Wish we could've stayed more than 2 nights, and experienced more of that Arkansas beauty, but it was a great place for us and the doggo!

Our cabin was perfect for us. Was quiet and peaceful. Perfect weekend getaway without the kids. Our only complaint, which had nothing to do with the property, was that it is a dry county. We did travel towards Hot Springs and found what we were looking for.

The stay was great. The only thing I would say is there was not wifi.

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for! It is very private (there are neighbors but they aren't close) with a glorious wrap around porch and a nice fire pit and a flat top grill. The inside was really cute and comfy and had everything we needed including a washer and dryer. Glorious water pressure! And I really loved all the wood and trim details. It was the perfect getaway for me and my honey. The cabin is also very close to the crystal mines which is what we came for. We had a great time will definitely stay here again. My only complaint is that I can't live here forever, haha! Highly recommend!

I loved staying here, it was exactly what I wanted. Nice cabin in the woods just for me and my dog. There was a loft that I didn't use, but would be great for kids. There was a great little creek not too far from the cabin, and it was super close to all the crystal mines I was visiting.
Two things I would mention, but neither was enough to take off a star.... first, there is a smart tv as the listing said, but I assumed that meant there would be wifi. So just know that there is no wifi (I used my phone as a hotspot for the little tv I watched). Also, if you are sensitive to scents, there are a bunch of those plug in freshener things. I'm not as sensitive as I used to be, but it was quite strong, so it took some time when I got there to air out the place. And after that there was still a smell in the sheets from the laundry detergent. This was my first VRBO stay, so maybe this is standard, but it was something I didn't expect.

Loved being in the woods, away from people. Nice & quiet. The only thing we missed was the ability to get a local weather update on TV.

We had a great two days at this cabin. Close to Mt Ida and the crystal mines, beautiful deck, cool loft, and fire pit with pre-choppped wood. Would stay here again.
