Sadly, not the experience we hoped for. Host did not provide the code to check in at the agreed to/listed check in time of 4pm. Upon entry, the home was full of more personal items than we could tell by the listing photos (family pictures, save the date card, etc) which was a bit uncomfortable. The backyard space we looked forward to using was not cleaned for our arrival (trampoline full of tree debris and outdoor seating/hammock covered in dust and debris as well). Spa was clean but we did not use it. We ended our stay shortly after arrival when we observed devices that should not have been in the property and were not listed in the property listing upon booking. After a few weeks the host refunded our stay.

The description of the bungalow was perfect and accurate. We were very comfortable and loved the hot tub, especially after a long day on the golf course.
The only glitch was that our code to the door did not work, but Kelly was right there for us and we were able to enter the bungalow in a matter of minutes.
Kelly is the perfect host. She talked to us about the golf courses that we were going to play. It was very helpful.
We would all stay at the bungalow again without any hesitation.

Overall, this property is not ready to be a rental property. A key code was not given prior to check-in. I had to contact the property manager multiple times before they picked up the phone. They were not prepared with a key code. The property had family photos in every room and personal items, clothes, shoes, jackets in every closet. The bathroom rugs were not clean and there was hair on one of the pillows. A floodlight was aimed at the bedroom window. The neighbors played loud music and there were unhoused people outside the house. The home was overpriced and not worth it. Would not recommend.

I would recommend this bungalow to everyone! It is super clean, great location, amazing communication with the property manager Kelly. It had a lot of different amenities and extremely comfortable. It is about a 50 minute drive from Boreal Mountain. It was clean, cozy, and felt like home.

The house was perfect for us. The beds were very comfortable, there was plenty of towels, the hot tub was clean and warm, the house heated up quickly, and it was very close to the freeway, food, and a grocery store. The kids’ favorite part was the neighborhood cat that visited us in the backyard the two days we stayed. Also, my teenager left a sizable sum of cash in the room he stayed in and Kelly was kind, and honest, enough to look for it and send it back to us when she found it. If we’re staying in the area again, we will definitely try to book this property again.

The cottage is a great base in the Auburn area. We shopped, ate out (great restaurants) & tried to hike it off. Great times.
