I cannot fault this place. It feels comfortable, humbling, interactive with the hosts, warm and homey. I was loving every aspect of it. Breakfast was delicious (gado-gado and fried rice, with fruit slices and coffee/tea) served with love (I can tell by the presebtation) in sufficient amount.
Pak Made and his wife, Ibu Rika have became our new friends and I could return here in a heartbeat. They, and their family are truly dedicated to Rumah Paros, they are so loving.

De kamer is zo stijlvol ingericht, prachtige kunst aan de muur! Heel comfortabel bed, extreem schone kamer + badkamer. Zeer gastvrij, en het ontbijt is heerlijk!!

They were all very kind and attentive to us, the breakfasts are very rich, it is a different one every day. They helped us to get a motorcycle for our stay, it was short but I would repeat for sure.
The room is spacious and was very clean when we arrived, and lots of art everywhere that makes it warm and beautiful.
Close to keramas beach and ubud.
Thank you very much for hosting us!
Nothing (:

Nothing to complain. A true hospitality. Clean & aesthetic room, friendly & helpful families, delicious breakfast (everyday is different), garden to chill at. Close to Ubud but not as crowded. Also very convenient if want to go to Sanur or Canggu / Seminyak.

Prior to our arrival, there was a very quick response when I inquired about a motorcycle rental through WhatsApp. The place is a little far from our actual destination but in the middle the village, perfect for a slow motorcycle ride. The host took effort in serving us a very late breakfast.

Unique🤗
The beautiful lawn, garden and the excellent host, the artist Made Keak. So friendly and down to earth.

Absolutely fantastic stay — a true gem of a property! The rooms are clean and beautiful. The experience of waking up and sitting with an artist explaining his work was beautiful. He and the staff were so hospitable. Last but not least, you can’t find better price / quality than this. Ideal stay on your way to / from Ubud!

Very nice place! The owner is an artist, the gallery is part of the place and worth to see! There is beautiful art everywhere…

Beautiful setting in a quiet, non-touristy area of Bali, which I much preferred to some of the more popular areas. Everything is a lot cheaper around there too. The family who own the home are very friendly and kind, will help you with anything you need, the breakfast is delicious and can be catered to vegans! I hired a scooter and did laundry with them, both of which were super cheap and easy to do. Thank you Made and family for an amazing stay!
There is a loud call from the temple nearby at 6am, 12pm and 7pm every day, which sounds nice but can wake you up sometimes.

The owner was super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They made us really nice breakfast each morning with coffee and local sweet treats. One of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in - including my own at home. The house is full of art which is really interesting and cool
Absolutely nothing. I loved it.

I was greated with such kindness. The room was perfect but the family was the cherry on the icecream. They even invited me to join their temple ceremonie. All in all i would totally recommend. Also it is not a very touristic area which in my subjective opinion was idilic. I got to see many true baliness culture traits.

Wow. This is the best place I have ever stayed. Luxury accomodation in a homestay of the most beautiful family… and it’s an Art Gallery! Every day they cooked me delicious breakfast, there was fresh Bali kopi, even a cute little kitten. On the first night, Kaek and his Wife shared Red Aga Balinese Wine with myself and other travellers, I immediately felt welcomed into their home. It is a home dating back generations, and infused w joy and spirit. Tropical plants and frangipani flowers abound. The combination of traditional Balinese rooms (my room included) as well as more Modern Architecture is a testament to Indonesia in the 2020s. The Art Gallery is an amazing sight and I wished I could bring my family and boyfriend to see it. Kaek is warm, friendly and knowledgable, he shares his art and talent with kindness, and his Wife is the loveliest host. I also had time to visit the beach nearby and it was gorgeous - black sand, volcanic rock & palm trees. There are also many waterfalls and animal sanctuaries nearby. PLEASE do yourself a favor and venture away from touristic Canggu and Seminyak to get a taste of REAL BALI!!

The soft sheets and comfortable bed, the art gallery, the open kitchen, hot water in the shower and the super sweet owners who go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Was soooo great I booked an extra few days! 💕😊

Wonderful stay! I was here only shortly but the owner Made did everything to make me comfortable. I had a broken knee and wanted to see the silvershops and he drove me around. I was also looking for a lunch place with good hygiene because i took antibiotics and he made sure to find a good restaurant for me.
His rooms are new because they just started after covid. It is very good value for money. The rooms look very nice and clean on the inside and have a cute balinese design on the outside. The wifi is good and fast. They even have a charger point next to the seats in front of the house. So i could enjoy looking at the garden but also charge my phone. Something I have not seen before. It is a quiet personal place and Made and his wife Rika are so friendly. Made also has an art gallery and it is nice to see his workspace and his small art gallerly. He kindly offered me local snacks and his wife's good food. They really did everything to take care of me. He even called the next hotel I wanted to stay in to make sure I would get there well and he found out that the airconditioning was broken there so It would be better to book another place. Otherwise I would not have slept well in my next stay. He really went above and beyond. I would highly recommend his place
The airco happened to be broken unfortunately but i am sure Made will fix this soon. He is the best. Also many stores were closed due to a ceremony day. But this is something that happens often in Bali so I would just check this before your stay

Rumah Paros is an absolute gem away from the tourists, touts and traffic. Made Kaek and his wife made me feel most welcome. If you love art, quiet want to relax this is just the place. Easy walk to a supermarket and many warang for meals and a short motorbike ride to Celuk for endless silver shopping.

The place is really exciting in all the details: location, service, design, kitchen are perfect!
The conditions of the room are modern and functional but with an unbelievable color of Bali.
Besides all the time together with comfort and wellness you feel a big respect of your privacy. Strongly recommended for everyone!!!
