The area was nice
The room looks clean but I got a rash on one of the bed and it got worse

Good value for a more reasonable price.
Hotel included complementary breakfast and free parking, services we didn’t receive at higher-priced hotels in the area.
Having to use your room card to power some of the lights and bathroom fan was strange.

The location was great.
More selections of entrées. Due to lactose intolerance, I could not eat cheese in my eggs.

Breakfast was good enough... not decadent but simple and above average for an Express Holiday Inn. To be honest, for what was paid, it is "good enough" as mentioned in the beginning.

Location
My reservation was for a queen double ADA accessible walk in shower. Upon arrival, I was informed no such room existed.

The building is pretty new, so all the facilities are new and everything is clean. I love the breakfast they have. Lived there for three days and every day the breakfast are slightly different but enough for people to choose.
No toiletries. I asked the front deck for two toothbrush and both of them cost $6. The front deck explained the building is new so that's why they don't have any toiletries.

Clean
4.5
I like that it is clean and convenient. I love that the rooms have a microwave and good sized mini fridge. We had plenty of space to eat and sit. I like that the pillows say “soft” and “firm” on the cases. They have breakfast included which was decent.
I feel like the soap dispenser in the bathroom is inconvenient being so far away from the sink itself. Although I love when there is a safe, it’s on the floor in the closet. So if you have a difficult time bending down you should get a different room. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work and the alarm was set to 6am I am assuming from a previous guest so that was unpleasant to wake up to. Hopefully the the cleaning and maintenance crew will improve those. The day we were leaving the breakfast was a little different than the first day. They may have been under staffed since the trays were mostly empty before the breakfast was supposed to end. And the bag of pancake mix only gave me 1 out of the two pancakes I “ordered” from the machine. It needed to be restocked, but there was no staff around in the kitchen area to tell. I assume this is due to them being under staffed so the same person who I would ask is probably making the food back there in the kitchen.
