My family and I had a great time at this perfect house on the water. It’s a great location, convenient to everything. It was clean and just as the owner described. We had kayaks to use and fishing equipment as well. I would definitely recommend this house and location to friends and family looking for a place to stay Hudson. In fact, my husband mentioned renting this particular house again because he liked it so much. Sitting out back while watching the water at the end of the day was absolutely perfect. Thanks for a great stay!

We had an amazing time in Hudson, with our group of 6. This house was perfect for getting our boat to and from the scallop grounds. We even had room for our friends to stay in their camper for a couple days. About 40' and a couple feet to spare with one car and a 25' boat trailer.
Definitely don't skip out on the local restaurants, Roscoes and Get Hooked, or boat to the Anclote Sandbar.
Thanks again!

Plenty of room for the whole family.Down stairs there is a queen bed and 2 bedrooms up stairs each with two beds There is a little bit of fishing supplies and 5 kayaks to enjoy. We made use of the kayaks. We fished off the private dock. Seen manatees, stingrays, multiple birds and fish. There is a seafood restaurant within walking distance.

This home was open, clean and welcoming. We saw so much bird life, even named a regular Kevin. Manatees made a regular appearance off the dock. Fun activities, amazing seafood restaurant within walking distance. In appreciation to our host we cleaned before leaving. Our host was always quick to reply to my questions and helped us through any hiccups we came across. The home provided all we needed to have a great experience during our stay. I would recommend bringing mattress pads if your not use to firm beds. This home is definitely on our favorites list to visit again!

Loved the house and property. Location was great for everything, we needed ( shopping, golf, restaurants). House is spacious and yard was great. Used the kayaks and the patio. House is beautiful and stocked with everything needed for cooking and chilling out.

This property was in a great location for our needs and it was very spacious. Loved the open floor plan on the first floor. This location is also great for my little one who was able to walk around both inside and outside since the property was fenced in the back. We saw 4 manatee on the trip and overall it was pretty quiet in the area at night.

We enjoyed sitting on the nice deck and watching the abundant wildlife. The house is nicely remodeled and very comfortable. It is close to shopping and restaurants. The host responded quickly any time we contacted him. Neighboring properties on the street look a little dilapidated, but there were no problems. I would recommend this property.

Well stocked, clean, spacious, and there were manatees in the back yard... what more could you ask for. Our family spent four nights here at the end of 23. The views out back are awesome with tons of wildlife. Short walk to several restaurants. The kayaks were an added bonus to explore the canals. This place is perfect for your next visit to Hudson. We hope to stay here again in the future.

We stayed here for a week over Thanksgiving. The house has lots of space and is well laid out for the whole family. We had our 2 dogs with us and they had access to the downstairs, which included the master bedroom, and we really appreciated the fenced in backyard. The backyard has a nice deck with a large table for eating outside. We also saw manatees and dolphins off the boat dock. The neighborhood was nice to walk the dogs around in, and it was nice having a restaurant and marina within walking distance of the property. We would definitely visit this property again.

Great place to stay with a good view. We didn’t stay home a lot due to busy schedule of events.

This house has everything you need to get away from it all. It is clean and updated and well equipped. We brought an extra shade tent to be able to use the back patio during the brutal summer heat but looking forward to returning in the winter months to enjoy the firepit.

This listing is exactly as described (well, it’s actually better). Located in a quiet area directly on the canal, we found ourselves enjoying the backyard, and especially the use of the kayaks. The house was exceptionally clean, and met our needs (2 adults, 4 kids). The area provided something for everyone in our family, from the great outdoors (Weeki Wachee kayaking was a favorite) to a more “urban” flair (side trips into Clearwater and Tampa). We would definitely stay again.

I enjoyed some fishing and others enjoyed kayaking. Saw a dolphin, no manatee caught a crab and catfish. I picked up every single piece of poo and no cigarette smoking. Sofa was not comfortable at all We had to go out and buy toliet paper. Other than that it was great. My dogs were confined to the downstairs by the baby gate and are not allowed on furniture.

We had a wonderful time staying in this quaint Hudson property. Woke up to 6 manatees swimming around the dock, and daily visits from baby ducks. The house was great for our 4 adults and 2 kids, we loved using the kayaks and exploring the canal!

Chose this property for a short get away with my family. Enjoyed seeing the famous mermaid show about 20 minutes away and to kayak the Weeki Watchee spring.
The property is clean and well cared for in a quiet neighborhood.

The house is clean and well equipped. We appreciated the kayaks and other recreation equipment . We saw manatees and dolphins in the canal, and lots of seabirds. Guests should try the beach at Sunwest, rather than Hudson beach— unless you are determined to be on the Gulf.

Villa and setting was lovely, couldn’t have asked for more. Manatee and dolphins were visitors to the dock which was fabulous.
Kayaks were a great addition to the villa along with the fire pit they were both used frequently.
The local bakery and ice cream shop are well worth a visit.
Fishing from the dock was entertaining and loads of species caught.
Would highly recommend staying here.
