We had such an amazing stay at the cabin. The winding creek just outside the door was an amazing experience for the kids. Would definitely recommend.

Booked this cabin as a quiet spot to relax and recharge while visiting Helen, GA. My mom and nephew (9 yrs old) were there for the first night. Day 1 never even left the cabin…. Just enjoyed the serenity of our surroundings. We explored the creek, played with salamanders (found in the creek) and listened to the sound of nature! Just a truly beautiful cabin that makes you feel tucked away even though you’re only 10-15 minutes away from everything. Days 2, 3, & 4 we hiked to see waterfalls, enjoyed dinner in town and came back to an awesome porch outfitted with lights, a swing, and rocking chairs. Fireflies and being able to ground ourselves in nature made this the perfect cabin for us to disconnect from chaos of city life and reconnect with each other. Lastly, the view, the view, the view. Ferns, little bunnies in the woods, beautiful fauna, fire pit, and horseshoes…….Just enjoyed every moment. We loved our stay and look forward to returning in the fall.

So beautiful and very clean we can’t wait to come back . Some of the best food minutes down the road in Helen . So book it if you can get away you won’t be disappointed!

This is a wonderfully, cozy cabin tucked in the woods. We loved morning coffee on the porch while listening to the creek. Just 15 minutes from downtown Helen.
There are a few things I would suggest for others visiting this property. Bring sound machines if you are a light sleeper because there is no insulation between the rooms. The water and ice have a heavy “mineral” flavor. Just grab some water and a bag of ice from town. We also wished for a working lock on the bathroom door. These were minor things that did not affect our stay.
We loved playing all day hiking, tubing and exploring Helen and then coming back for a fire and s’mores before climbing into the comfy beds.
Thanks for sharing your home with us!

We had such a pleasant stay. The cabin was clean and warm. Property was like having a small park to ourselves. Close to Helen and our favorite, Ana Ruby Falls.

This is a great little cabin. The winding creek at the property is great place to keep kids entertained.

The cabin was spotless ant it was everything we were looking for.

Not do. Lol. Hope to be back soon for sure will use this listing again.

Could tell people before they book the cabin about having to cross a creek to get to and from the Cain or build a bridge across it !!! Cabin was a little dim , need bear proof garbage cans,

Even though there was a lot of creek area we thought it was larger. The dishes weren't clean so we had to wash the dishes we were going to use beforehand. The cabin is cute but dark; which was actually a plus for us. We appreciate the accomodations for smokers by providing an ash tray on the back porch. We read in other reviews that you could hear every noise but with just two of us, we didn't hear any noise at all, we both slept good. We only noticed the bear had visited the trash can the next morning. Over all it was a great stay and we would stay there again.

The property was so clean and the outdoors was so peaceful. Definitely would go again.

It was very nice! Exactly what our family needed!!!

Driving through the creek was slightly stressful and rain had us holding our breath. Beautiful place and so serene. Only downside is we had 8 people between two families and we don’t have the same sleep schedule. You hear everything… including whispers in the next room or loft.
4.8
The outside was spectacular. Sleeping was hard with kids upstairs. There is zero insulation in the upstarts floor and we hear everything.

This property was amazing. From seeing deer drink from the creek to laying on the hammock and just listening to nature. The house and beds were very cozy. I would suggest adding some pot holders to the kitchen, maybe I just didn't see any. We also had to purchase a box fan for upstairs as it got warm during the day. I would definitely stay here again.

Very relaxing and tucked away nicely from hustle and bustle! Exactly what we were looking for. This will not be our last stay at the Crooked Creek Cabin!

We were so excited when we pulled up and the property was just as magical as the images online. The kids loved the creeks and yard around and the loft upstairs was a lot of fun for them. The house is well situated, close to a lot fun spots/activities! And our minivan had no issues crossing the creek to get to the house.
We had the unfortunate issue that the internet was out the whole week we were there and there is no cell service on the property. We were not always aware of what was going on with getting it fixed or not, but the property management team was responsive to our questions and I still feel it was a good trip. These things are sometimes out of our control!

Our group enjoyed this property. If I had to change anything it would be the addition of another bathroom.

The cabin was exactly as described. Only challenge we faced was having phone signal for the gps. Shortly after leaving the property all signals were back and we found our way. The area and scenery was absolutely amazing. Honestly could have just sat on the porch the entire trip and been 100% content.
Teenagers enjoyed hanging out in the creek during our down time and exploring.
I will also agree that if you have a small sedan or smaller car, crossing the creek to get to the property could be a challenge. My family actually thought it added a level of adventure to drive through the shallow creek.
Great property!

Family enjoyed this place so much. We were here with my in-laws and our kids 5, 3, 1. Kids loved the creek which is even bigger than the pictures look, it curves around twice and there is a third bridge to cross and plenty of spots to explore all mostly visible from the deck so they’re easy to watch. The cabin is beautiful and well equipped. We used the fire pit daily and grill almost every day. The ferns around the house were magical and it was very nice having the walking path lights outside around the fire pit at night. There are many things to do in the surrounding area, visited the small shops and especially liked the Cultural center right down the road. Lots of waterfalls and there is a beach nearby in the Anna Ruby falls recreation area very close to the cabin that the kids loved. Everyone was sad when we had to leave.

My family of five, children ages 12, 11, & 3, absolutely LOVED our stay at the Crooked Creek cabin. The pictures are a very true representation of the cabin's property. The fire pits are amazing. The creek and bridges make for a private forest adventure. My kids spent a lot of time in the creek building dams, and then destroying them. They found the "perfect" rocks. They were able to "creek hike" without being out of sight or in any deep water. The property also has so much easy to access natural firewood which was a fun activity for the kids to gather. The horseshoes were a great surprise.
The cabin itself is super cute. Very true to a log cabin, with all the modern upgrades to make your stay more than comfortable. We enjoy eating at home rather than dining out with picky eaters and a toddler. The kitchen allowed us to cook exactly what we needed. The kitchen table and den area allowed plenty of space to eat....not to mention the meals/snacks eaten outside.
The beds were very comfy. The rooms were more spacious than a hotel. The upstairs bedroom is perfect for older kids...like older than 5. A very 'cool' environment. Three very comfy beds upstairs and the perfect space to geek on a tablet or phone....or read a book on the upstairs loft.
Every room has a smart TV. We logged in to our streaming channels. Our preteens were thrilled. It was the perfect balance to time outdoors and keeping the kids happy watching a family movie at night.
We LOVED our stay & hope to return!

The property was amazing! We wanted a getaway to relax and found this property with the streams in the backyard. It was a perfect location to sit on the porch and drink coffee in the afternoons. There were two fire pits on the property - we built a fire one night and enjoyed the sounds of the stream and just being secluded. It was very cold or we would have been outside more. The cabin was charming! It had everything you needed. We cannot wait to go back!

We wanted a secluded getaway…and we certainly got that! The place was also so clean and modern…while keeping a log cabin feel. Simply PERFECT!!!!
