Very good selection.
Nothing at all
4.3
Pretty much everything. But the standout were the front of house staff . All were friendly, smiley, welcoming and the exceptional Stephanie, in the evening. Absolutely delightful personality. Remembered us from the previous year. Checked on how we were going. What an asset to the Novotel. Plus the girl who made the best coffee in the dining room- was her name Mandy?- she was great. Having staff who can easily rapport with the guests, joke around while retaining professionalism, makes the stay experience so much better.
Nothing but having a coffee machine in the room would have topped off a great stay.
4.3
Itās clean and modern and comfy beds
Car parking was an issue with car parks too far away. We paid for valet parking but the staff seem confused about it so we ended up parking on the street. (We did get the valet taken off our bill since we didnāt use it with no issue). We have stayed there in the past and been able to park ourselves in the on-site park. I donāt like valet parking.

Close to ferry terminal

Location, clean and new
The price and had to pay extra for parking
4.3
The location is perfect, just across the road from the Spirit of Tasmania docks. There are plenty of shops around for eating and walking. Macs was across the road, as was Reading Cinemas for movies. The hotel is nice, with a $25 Valet parking or a $10(refundable) parking on a short walk. The hotel breakfast was nice. We need to pay for the barista-made coffee; otherwise, can have juice options. We will definitely stay next time.
Nothing to report
4.3
Comfy beds and very clean room. Great location in relation to the spirit of Tasmania for an early morning departure.
Valet parking made checking in a little hectic with so many cars out the front and nowhere to actually stop to check in. Facilities were a bit lacking for the price but it was conveniently located
4.3
Very nice facilities and breakfast provided.
We travelled with a car pod on top and couldnt get undercover parking but a small detail.
4.3
Ideal location, room had fantastic water view .

Valet parking not the best arrangement

Location and view were amazing. Short distance to pubs and restaurants
Having to pay for parking
4.3
The bathroom was the only thing nice
Room service meal was horrible
4.3
The location was great! Stylish rooms & hotel.
The inexperienced staff, did not call as promised when room available, no luggage in room(waited 30 mins for it to be delivered), questioned why I wanted a bottle of wine, then only delivered a glass (waited 30mins). No balcony furniture. Only 1 chair in room. Had to pay for coffee when breakfast included. Staff in restaurant looked untidy & need a uniform - not professional! Breakfast was overcooked.
4.3
Breakfast was great and the location
Parking was too expensive
4.3
Convenient location
Lukewarm warm shower
There would appear to be insufficient heating capacity for heating water with several guests showering at the same time.
4.3
great location just across from the ferry terminal, a nice way to start or end your Tassie holiday. Walking distance to some cafes for early breakfast and coffee.
limited parking is available during the week for vehicles with height restrictions (over the height limit for the hotel carpark)
some loud bars and clubs nearby on the weekends

Great location in walking distance to everything. This was the most affordable accommodation we could find for a one night stay and it exceeded expectations. Unfortunately members of the family weren't well during out stay and staff were very accommodating with requests as were the restaurant with take away meals.

Great overall
Parking
4.3
Centrally located.
Comfortable bed
No parking except for valet - itās Devonport, not even a small city
Rooms a bit noisy
4.3
Clean, great views, central location, excellent beds
Long walk from room to lift. Sometimes lift delays as staff used lifts for cleaning and meal deliveries

The room was well set up, the beds were comfortable and there was sufficient storage. The staff were helpful. There are restaurants nearby and in the hotel. Parking is secure though it costs extra. It is not far from the Spirit of Tasmania terminal and is fairly central to supermarkets with a good view.
There were insufficient hangers in the wardrobe and no outdoor seating available on the balcony attached to the room. There were limited amenities in the bathroom- no toothbrush & toothpaste, razor and only 1 bath mat. Itās important to check the bill before it is finalised for payment - I was overcharged significantly for the breakfasts for the 3 of us by a few hundred dollars. I didnāt receive a hard copy of the bill on checkout and requested it be emailed to me. I was in a hurry to pay and get on to the Spirit of Tasmania which had very limited 5G or no reception on the Bass Strait. But the Novotel did email the bill when I requested it the next day because it hadnāt been and they did process the refund promptly when I queried the charges.

Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Loved the valet parking. Had to leave early in the morning for Hobart. Car was waiting outside Reception at 0700, ready to roll
The noisy nightclub across the road

Good modern facility but carpet is not very clean.
Carpet of the room.
4.3
the breakfast was great, plenty of variety and staff were very friendly and very helpful in accommodating our large group with extra seating.
4.3
Amazing view.
When booking a Superior queen room with balcony you expect there to be sort of seating to enjoy the view. There was only one seat facing a desk to sit at. Very stark room considering the size of it. When staff were approached about stained sheets they just said some were like that. Very disappointing š.
4.3
Clean quiet great view

Good location, clean rooms, friendly staff, central location for shops and local attractions.
No freezer in room fridge, barista coffee from restaurant wasn't very nice
