L’emplacement, les chambres et petit déjeuner
Le manque de finition dans les chambres (carrelage qui bouge, les lambe de chevets boule qui était encore poussiéreuses et pas de grand miroir dans la chambres principale)

Same as last year, breakfast is fantastic, location is the best in town and the staff is very experienced and friendly.
Only downside this time is the weak Wi-Fi. It was very difficult to participate in video conferences.

Good location
Room was ok but old, esp the bathroom and window door did not close. Reason for my bad rating is mostly the service, extra charges, breakfast and value for money.
Breakfast was very average (eg scrambled eggs were grey, fruits looked old), and I had a huge glass splinter in my cappuccino. When I complained, the feedback from the service was that’s it’s not their fault because they didn’t do it on purpose (instead of apologising). Equally no apology/understanding from reception.
They charge extra for breakfast, parking and electricity (!), hence you end up spending a lot of money for mediocre experience which I in my experience is was worth the money.

Location and facilities
Had a whole spider family when I arrived, which is not so crazy to have one spider… but a whole family with their cadavers in the corner and along the window area… Also found some in the water tank of the coffee machine. I cleaned it mostly myself, cause came in rather late. Weird reaction from receptionist: when I told her she wrote it down, no apologies on inconvenience…
I travelled solo, so they removed a bed from the double room and so there was a single 90cm width bed standing in the middle of the room?!? Not even moved to the wall or something so one does not fall out… unusual concept.

Reception were helpful; good view of Lake Constanz; very good coffee machine in the room
No air conditioning and no on site car parking; surrounded by roads on 3 sides;

Position in front of the lake
The restaurant and bar available downstairs and in the area
The main part of the room is ok
The children room is too small and the door conflicts with the bed stairs
The toilet door is too close to the toilet it self, if you are 1.80 m tall ...

1) You charge a 5 Euro fee per person per night for electricity, and this is not stated sufficiently clearly in your listing. The charge in itself is ridiculous, since one would assume that electricity is already included in your accommodation rate. It seems like an attempt to deceive guests into booking with your hotel since the normal rate does not take into account the additional charge for electricity. Why not charge a water fee, a linen fee, a towel fee, or even a bed fee then? Then you can charge 10 Euros per night for your room rate to attract tourists to book with your hotel, and then shock them with additional fees when they check in. This is a very deceptive practice.
2) Your electricity fees and other miscellaneous fees were not broken down and listed clearly in my receipt. It led to confusion because in my understanding, I had paid the full amount via booking.com, and was confused when there were extra charges which I had to clarify with the receptionist, which leads to my third point...
3) Rather than trying to explain the charges by breaking it down for me, your receptionist acted like I was a stupid, troublemaker and the cause of her inconvenience. She was curt, rude and dismissive. My German is not great, but you are in the hotel business. You should understand that you deal with international guests who cannot speak the language well. We are not stupid because we don't speak your language. Rather, you are the one who provides poor service by being dismissive of a guest, and acting as if you are inconvenienced by a guest seeking clarification on your confusing billing.
4) I urge all holiday makers to give this hotel a miss. Much better options nearby

Cool neighborhood, nice breakfast : many choice and a few options for vegan.
Dinner restaurant menu - some dishes weren't available. The waiter seemed to be overwhelmed. He found some alternatives though. We weren't satisfied for the dinner.

the hotell was very nice
Breakfast staff was absolutely NOT nice.
also the Breakfast open at 08:00
And the reception desk did not open until 09:00 on sunday. So could not check out.

The breakfast is amazing, the staff are lovely, and the sauna room is unbelievable.
The gym needs better equipment.

I liked the location, restaurant and bar. I liked the staff at both places. I also liked the staff when we checked in.
The cleaning staff never came in to even empty garbage cans, refill coffee/milk and towels. I had a car issue upon check out and needed to call ADAC. The staff that checked me out was not friendly or helpful. I found a nice gentleman who was checking in to Jump my car with cables and my car started right up. The staff at check out was not professional or helpful.

Pleasant, helpful staff, reasonable parking, food offering acceptable.
Lack of porter service, long walk along corridor with stairs, breakfast crockery still on outside terrace 24vhrs later..jot a good look. Room and balcony a bit on small side. Need to book a specific breakfast slot so not relaxing

The location of the hotel is very good and has potential
The service was bad
We got a room without a door to the toilet and the shower (broken) and the hotel refused to cancel our reservation or change our room.
It made us sad and we had to cut our stay a day short.
During the entire period, we used the hotel's general toilets, which were also not open all the time

We really missed aircondition in the room and in the restaurant. It was almost impossible to get any sleep in the heat.
3.5
Location on the lake promenade was good.
The staff we unfriendly and not motivated.
Room was extremely hot with no decent ventilation or aircon.
3.5
My only dislike was the coffee at breakfast, it couldn't be any worse than that!
3.5
The breakfast, not good at all

Staff were helpful when I complained about the view, lack of a safe, coffee machine not working etc and were moved into another room. Breakfast was fine.
The rooms with a lake view in the hotel photo were from the top floor. We had a first floor room and the external blind came down to protect against the sun so we when it did in the afternoon we just saw the car park, not the lake
The first room had no safe and the air conditioning didn’t work properly with little cooling effect
We were moved into another and the coffee machine didn’t work
The manager was very responsive but the hotel was full and his options limited
3.5
bed was comfy, breakfast was great

Location was nice. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was nice.
Not good value for money. Hotel rooms were very basic. Didnt like the shower/toilet setup. No privacy and very loud. No Phone in room. No room service. Reception closed very early. No free parking.

Perfect location
very friendly staff
great breakfast buffet
good coffee
great sauna
The single room is much smaller/compact than I have imagined.
It would be nice to put a layer of Sichtschutzfolie at the sliding glass door to "hide" the WC from the front of the bed. This is especially true for guests, who are sensitive to the Fengshui concept, where the direct facing of the toilet to the bed is to be avoided due to several reasons.
3.5
Location, breakfast and staff were amazing. Also very comfortable.
The price was outrageous for the size of the room. You are paying for the location.
3.5
Sea View, balcony to relax and smoke a cigar.
