Sijainti erinomainen. Huoneen näkymät ja parveke eriomaiset. Hiukan jo nuhjuinen hotelli joidenkin yleisten tilojen osalta, hissi, portaat, wc-tilat. Huoneissa säilytystilaa etenkin pikkutavaroille kovin niukalti. Aamaistarjonta alkoi tökkilä tavallista aiemmin.
Kaikessa viimeinen silaus puuttui.

Beliggenheten

The room was clean but the balcony was not. The pool area is really small, and opening times are 9-18, pllace in the shade for <10 sunbeds. Also the Thalassa Restaurant has not enough room. It gets very crowded. If you are unlucky, you must wait before you can get in.
In our room, when flushing the toilet water splashed out of it (hopefully it was only water 🤣)

The position of the hotel, the facilities.
The windows are not soundproof, the garbage collectors are working at nite and they are making a lot of noise.
The breakfast is crowded.
Small badroom.

The hotel is in a great location. Cros just one tiny street and you are on the beach. The rooms are freshly renovated with all kinds of tech enhancements. Comfortable beds, awesome shower, and great lighting. The cleaning crew was very professional and efficient.
The room had toiletries, a hair dryer, a Nespresso machine, a fridge, robes, and hangers. Our room was with partial sea view, which was very nice.
The breakfast was a tasty mixture of local and continental food. Very often we sat at the lobby bar, which was just fantastic! Great cocktails and tasty food are guaranteed!
It was hard to communicate with the personnel at the reception desk because most of them did not understand and speak nighter English or French.
The hotel does not have a closed beach, so if you want to have sunbeds and umbrellas you will need to pay.

Complete beachfront and walking distance to everything
The shower and basin are sensors, so whilst you're showering, everything turns off, and you need to try turn it on again.. not practical when you have soap in your eyes.
Some rooms face another hotel that is really close ... naked man looking straight into our room so we asked to be moved.... after some hesitation, we got a beach facing room

We loved everything. Fabulous location and staff were happy, smiling and helpful. Great breakfast. Upgrading to a seaview room is worth it. Simply fabulous holiday

Very good selection.
A sheet for the bed instead of a quilt. Too hot.

Breakfast was ok very generic, fried eggs seemed a bit weird with some cheap oil.
Expensive to begin with the quality of service didn’t match the price of stay, room was tiny, shower is designed for tiny individuals I barely could fit inside, felt very claustrophobic. Air conditioning wouldn’t go below 24 degrees in the middle of the night and there was no spare rooms apparently.

Large room, availability of towels for the beach, great location with direct beach access.
The breakfast buffet could have had more choice.

This hotel is great, located just across the street from the most popular beach within that area, plenty of restaurants/bars nearby till late at night. 10 minutes walking distance to one of the main entrance of the Medieval city. Breakfast was included with the room rate and plentiful to choose from.

I stayed at Mediterranean Hotel Rhodes 9 nights. Unfortunately my expectations weren’t met, especially given the 4-star rating.
Location right next to beach just across a small street is great - no question - but that’s about it for the positives.
Beach in front of hotel does not belong to it, you have to rent sun beds (15 EUR/day in 2022) separately.
Room was clean but decor quite outdated. No coffee or tea making facilities in the room, neither an iron. Slippers provided but no bathrobe. Decent size room, but quite crammed, hardly space to move between coffee table and bed as well as bed and luggage bench. I bumped my knees several times during stay.
Rooms not soundproof as discribed, noise from corridor and neighbouring rooms clearly audible and woke me up each morning. No socket near bed.
Shower in bathroom so narrow, I bumped my elbows and knees every single time I was taking a shower - and I’m a petite person. Water pressure quite low, difficult to wash my thick, hip-length hair and temperature cold and extremely hot at times - sometimes rapidly changing causing me to scald myself. Despite breakfast included in my room rate, I skipped it most mornings. I went twice at 9am and once at 7am to see if it would make any difference and the experience any better when going early - it didn’t in terms of food, just less overcrowding at 7am. I’m vegetarian. Choice of healthy, vegetarian options wasn’t great. No labels on buffet making it hard to tell for some dishes on display what it was/whether vegetarian. On 1st morning I took a salad filled taco to realise at the table when starting to eat it that there seemed to be chicken inside! Cucumber slices dried out, diced tomatoes mushy, potato wedges dry and hard, sautéed mushrooms tasteless. None of eggs (boiled & fried) cooked through, even egg white still liquid. No prepared fresh fruit. Only bananas and whole fruits mostly apples, some few other fruits (like one whole kiwi at 7am)in a fruit bowl.
Breakfast room fairly small and buffet not very spread out. Really overcrowded around 9am. Hard to access buffet with people shoving and pushing and even harder to find free table. Staff were slow to clear used dishes from vacated tables, so the few free tables weren’t ready. When finally finding one on the 2nd morning, putting my plate down and going back to the buffet, another guest cleared a neighbouring table for himself, piling dirty dishes left there on my table next to my food.
On a different note, I'd chosen Mediterranean hotel because of promised high speed internet in rooms. I work remotely. The plan was to work 9h a day from the room, go for a swim during lunch and enjoy Rhodes on two weekends. Prior to the trip, I had inquired with hotel management about internet connection and explained why it is of highest importance to me. I was promised fast internet and option to access internet through a wired connection if wifi wasn’t fast enough. On arrival internet was shaky. I asked multiple times at reception for promised cable and house technician tried at least 3x to fix internet (of which on 2 occasions no cable was provided). Staff were friendly but did not seem to understand how important this was and did not seem to care too much. One member of staff even seemed to mock me about my “work holiday” when I repeatedly asked for the internet to be fixed and pointed out the importance (I would have needed to change hotel or fly back or buy a dongle, etc.). At some point it turned out the ethernet cable connection point was broken and the member of staff asked me to wait for the engineer (on one of my 3.5 days of free time in Rhodes during the 9 nights stay). When I refused, they replaced the box but the cabled connection never worked during my stay. I had to make do with wifi, which had to be frrequently reset by switching off main switch on the fuse box, cutting the electricity for the room and me using my phone’s hotspot on some occasions as last resort.

Everything is excellent.
The location is very excellent.
Compared to last year it has become a bit pricey, but goes for all things connected to tourism this year. Two year's losses after Covid has to be recovered.
8.0
The location to the beach and walking distance to old town. We had a side room sea view which was great as it got the sun most of the day and evening
A bit dated could do with a revamp. The air conditioning unit was more like a fan. Could do with a proper fridge instead of a mimi bar unit
