Good size rooms with comfortable beds.
Friendly breakfast crew.
Refreshing lemonade in the reception area - a nice welcoming touch upon arrival.
Central position; nice for a walk around the town.
Lively area - other bars/ cafés in the area.
Food and beverage staff tend to 'hide' out of sight; you then hear them, mostly having a great time (sometimes there are discussions), but there is no line of sight/ eye contact possible. You often have to go fetch them from some passage leading (probably) to the kitchen area...

The hotel is very nice, with a good breakfast and dinner (limited menu). Rooms are clean, and spacious, and have balconies. The downstairs lobby is very stylish with connecting bar.
The hotel is advertising itself as a spa and termas. Unfortunately, termas are permanently closed since about 2016 after the storm destroyed it. The hotel should update the website description to match the reality.

The hotel layout and facilities are quite nice, the entire space seems to be well maintained and cleaned.
The SPA workers were very nice and thoughtful.
Overall hotel staff could be more nice, from the reception (multiple times I got there and no one was there - and I'm talking about normal business hours e.g.: 11am, 15pm... always had to wait or call out to the inside of the reception) to the restaurant workers.
Apparently room cards stop working an hour before the check out, had to go to the reception to restart mine, but other people on the hallway were complaining about the same.

its a great hotel and spa
it requires more careful maintenance, for example shower wall structure was not properly fixed and shower support was unusable. outside the minigolf was fun but degraded.

Extra bed not comfortable and pillows too soft

I was doing a walking pilgrimage from Aveiro to Our Lady of Fatima. Most hotels along the route were all fully booked for my first night stay so I found this one. It was 20kms off my route but it was so worth it. The hotel is beautiful. Very traditional and grand from the outside and wonderfully modern on the inside. Nice large rooms and very very large bathroom. This was perfect to get a good nights rest to restart my journey in the morning.
Also if i had more time the whole town is super cute and will likely come back and visit again with more time to explore.
i was a bit disappointed that by the time i got there at 10pm the hotel restaurant was closed. I ordered room service but because the hotel restaurant was closed i was only able to get a couple of sandwiches to choose from.

I loved the clean white monogrammed sheets and the pillows and a huge bed especially for Portgual. The toilets robes and slippers were excellent and they had the champagne glasses in the room as requested. The Family Suite room 305 was absolutely perfect. Beautiful windows. Lots of space. Set up with the pullout sofa and cot all ready for us. The food was great in the dining room we had dinner for 4. The breakfast was amazing .. most of the hot items were too cold but lots of great selections and options. The pool and lounge chairs were excellent.
The poolside ciprarinhas were very expensive and small. 18€ for 2
The spa had no openings so disappointed we couldn’t get in for any treatments coming from Canada. Book in advance for sure!!
Dinner service staff was a little slow.

really nice property - high quality furniture and ambience; great bed and nice pool; very good restaurant; happy staff - can only recommend
in isolated countryside but otherwise very good - but you need a car and not much happening in that town - but very relaxing otherwise - a bit overpriced for similar quality properties in the countryside

Great staff. The hotel was packed they had plenty of work. But still managed to keep me and my demanding sons happy.
Needs more people though, time to hire more persons.

Te breakfast is great. The facilty are great.
Too bad we come late and there is only one hr left in the spa area.
We don't want to pay a 2 hr price for a one hr use.

Very modern hotel with a nice bar. Rooms were very nicely kept at high standard. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The gym facilities were closed and the spa was only open inside work times. Spa cost €18 extra. The outside pool is not heated.
