Proximité de la montagne.
Les lits n’étaient pas faits quand nous sommes arrivés (malgré notre demande).
Le sol n’était pas nettoyé.
Les matelas étaient sales.

Appartamento splendido, in ottima posizione

Sejour/repas beaucoup trop petit (séjour presque inexistant).

The room is fully renovated and it feels extremely new
They have facilities but you need to pay extra to use them. The general staff was very kind but looked a bit unprepared to answer questions

Location and price
No air conditioning during summer, a bit old, no basic condiments in the kitchen (salt, washing up liquid, olive oil).

Apartment had been modernised inside. Near to ski slopes.
Check in process was chaos. Maintenance of outside steps and floors needs to be carried our.

very close to the slopes
people staying in the apartments did not seem to be treated as well, ie had to pay for the pool, no WiFi etc. the lifts were often not working in the apartments too.

Great location next to the slopes, recently recurbed, friendly staff
Confusing car park layout, wifi was unusably slow most of the time, poor noise insulation between apartments

the location above all; the apartment was recently renovated and very comfortable for us 4. also new and everything was working well. however being on few footsteps from the slopes was fantastic!
price quality ratio- for the price of the apt planibel residence has no cleaning service included .

The location is ideal for those intending to ski or snowboard at La Thuile as the gondola and pistes are right across the street from the hotel and residences. There's equipment rental right next to the location, and there was an in facility sauna, which was nice. The room also had 2 separate bathrooms which was nice.
We booked 1 room, with 1 queen bed and 2 sofa beds. What we got was 2 twin beds next to each other, and 1 sofa bed that can fit 2 people - uncomfortably. The room was significantly smaller than anticipated. We booked at the residences, which had a kichenette. It had a lot of supplies, but critically lacked a sponge and dish detergent, which we ended up buying even though we only stayed for 2 nights. The induction burner was unreliable and didn't always work. Furthermore, if you're coming by car, the parking garage is incredibly confusing and there was no map. The staff didn't give clear instructions either, and it took us 30 minutes to find the appropriate parking spot. They made us download an application, which was useless as it didn't provide any map of the complex nor did it facilitate any communication with the reception if we needed it. The entire place is a maze and difficult to navigate, and there is little to no signage on how to get around.

If you are there for a ski holiday, the main selling point, by far, is that the location is right next to the main lifts. That's really what you are paying for. We rented a one bedroom apartment and there is adequate room including a second bathroom and a balcony. The underground parking costs €7 a night but it is convenient. There are a range of shops and bars on-site.
Toilet had poo in it left by previous occupant. i complained to reception and showed the young lady a photo but she didn't believe me and, insultingly, argued that it was "rust". Yes, honestly. That's what she said. It's like something from a Monty Python sketch. So i had to video myself cleaning away the poo with a toilet brush and went back and showed her. In my best Italian i explained that "es merda!" Even then she did not believe me and showed her supervisor the video. Her supervisor looked at the video, looked at her and nodded and said in Italian "yes it is poo". They looked for the manager but he was nowhere to be found. They asked me to come back next day to speak to the manager. I told them the manager could come and look for me as i was done with chasing after them. There was no apology at all from the reception staff. Cleaning personnel turned up late that evening, unannounced, to clean the bathroom but we were just about to go to bed. i asked them to come back the next day, which they did, and they cleaned the bathroom. The manager never came looking for me. i never received an apology from anyone at the hotel. What was way worse than finding poo in the toilet was the incredibly insulting attitude of the reception staff. Customer service was awful. That young lady seems to have been trained to believe that the customer is always wrong. .
One other huge negative was the fact that we were right next to the lift shaft so we heard the sounds of the two lifts going up and down well into the early hours of the morning. It was so loud we went into the village to buy earplugs. Didn't work. Didn't sleep well. If you plan to stay there, ask the hotel not to place you in a room whose bedroom backs onto the lift shaft. You will not sleep.
We love La Thuile. That was our second trip there, (first time we went we booked an Airbnb apartment nearby). We intend to go to La Thuile again this season.

very good and new kitchen and bathrooms.
comfortable beds
perfect location in front of ski lift/cable
would be better if the room was a bit bigger
5.0 / 10.0
Newly decorated apartment, very near the slopes with several restaurant and bars as well as a small supermarket and selection of other shops. Food in restaurants reasonably priced. The skiing itself is good, though the lift systems is out of date, and lack of shelter means the lifts can get very cold. Think twice if you are a beginner or intermediate. LTh is mostly red and black skiing, however La Rosierre is accessible and offers more options and a sunnier resort.
The Planibel has effectively a monopoly over access to the La Thuile slops above and don't they know it. Service was poor/non-existent, starting with arriving to a room full of building materials and beds not made up... We felt "nickel and dimed" at every turn for staying in the "residence", such as being charged 10 euro per person to provide fresh towels. Totally unacceptable when paying e400 a night for 8 nights. The kitchenette was OK, there were plates, bowls and utensils for 4 (though no wine glasses), but the lack of cooking implements made it virtually impossible to cook for 4. I should be giving a glowing review for service at this price, but sadly cannot.

Very nice and spacious apartment.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Very quiet and superclose to the lifts.
Online Check-in took ages and was a pain in the @%#$.
Especially since the needed all informations at the reception again.
Other than that: no complaints at all

The description of the hotel looked attractive.
The hotel does not respect the client and does not follow the conditions he put in the description
- In the description of the hotel it was stated ("Le ménage de fin de séjour est inclus dans le tarif de l’hébergement"/ "Cleaning at the end of the stay is included in the price of the lodging"). I received a message a few hours before our expected arrival a notification that cleaning fees amounting to 40 € will be requested at our arrival
- We has a severe car problem and we could not reach our hotel. We sent a message saying that we will cancel, explaining the situation. In addition, we asked for a cancellation, that was accepted (but not refunded, that was their right).
Still, we received a few day later a "no-show" notification, with a fee that exceeds the price requested for the room itself!
I contacted Booking to warn them about the dubious pricing policy of the hotel. In addition, I will contact the insurance associated to my Premium visa card about this policity. But to avoid other people to get trapped by the hotel, I prefer to leave a bad comment to warn them.
