Tolle Lage, zentral, trotzdem völlig ruhig, sehr angenehmes Ambiente, sehr gutes Tapas Restaurant direkt daneben

We loved everything about this hotel what a treat it was, fabulous location walking distance to many bars and restaurants and the bed was so comfortable I wanted to bring it home … the baths were so relaxing and we will defo be back
Nothing I didn’t like it was really really very good x

The location was excellent, and our room had a lovely view of plaza. Quiet and relaxing - a must do is to book baths as fantastic!
The room, although gorgeous to look at, was not practical, with stairs to bathroom and loft steps with no handrail. To assist, I would suggest sensor lighting for steps to bathroom

Location value for money and staff
We visited the hotel 4 years ago and it looked a bit run down in places
4.1
The location is excellent, and the facilities are really good. Would have been. Nice as guests to have had a complimentary evening slot in the spa.

Excellent hotel. Bed was very comfortable. Love the ancient baths.
Ancient baths
4.1
Hotel location was great and the roof top terrace had great views .
The breakfast was fine and traditional continental style which for that area I would expect .
We booked a rooftop suite with terrace , modern - comfy and great shower / bathroom .
The ancient baths are a must if you stay there .
It’s a shame but to me the staff trying to run a spa and hotel at the same time but clearly didn’t mix , it’s as if the hotel to them was a nuisance and they were more for the spa bookings but were not rude in any way but you could just tell .
Just beware we booked suite 303 on the top floor and as lovely as it was it states that comes with terrace which you would imagine is private .
Clearly not I lost count the amount of times guests wondered round to our private terrace which we had paid for , walking up to our window and peering in . I’d only been there 1hr , had a shower came out to find someone staring in !! .
We complained and all the staff said yes they know it’s a problem but nothing ever gets done .
You can’t blame the guests as me too would have wondered round as to the untrained eye you would think a hot tub would be there or something .
Anyway we were given a bath / spa treatment to make up for it which was brilliant , I did say to them buy a gate / hinges and a private sign and hey presto - problem solved but you just know this is never going to happen .
Still a pleasant stay we had and the roof top pool although small you can still do a few strokes in an was lovely addition .

The staff were absolutely fantastic.

Location was excellent as it was so near restaurants and tapas bars. A short walk away were the historical sites and the main shopping g areas. Ideal situation.
Hotel only served breakfast. No other meals were available , and there was no bar in the hotel. Roof top pool was only a plunge pool but did help to keep us cool. Unable to get Internet in our bedroom - only in the reception area.

The location is excellent. The staff are really friendly and helpful, particularly Jenifer who was great.
We were in Room 311 and my daughter 310. The layout is not great , having a sink next to the television and dressing table / desk not great design. There is no where to put the hand towels after use. My daughter had to plug the coffee machine into the bedside plug ! I think for a 4 star rating and compared to other hotels we have stayed in the refreshments , tea etc is poor . No milk , very unusual , only 2 coffee pods . Also the pool area needs a little TLC, there was only one umbrella.

Architecturally very interesting with huge beautifully decorated rooms. The location was very central and the views from the room astounding.
The pool was rather narrow for swimming but fine for a quick refreshing dip

great room, central location and very helpful staff - parking very close by
breakfast isn’t the best but is fine

we had a beautiful room which was right by the rooftop pool. Lovely location and the staff were very helpful. Spa definitely worth a visit, great place to chill and unwind.
Pool needed cleaning, sun beds were broken and no pool towels. Vending machine for drinks, no bar area. The decking was dangerous around the pool and needs replacing. Breakfast was ok but not worth the money. Not all food was covered, attracting flies. Great cafe 5 min walk, excellent croissants and coffee for 5 euros! Real shame, everything else was lovely.

Everything the ancient baths ,the location and loved the junior suite that had wonderful views
No milk for coffee or spoon ! With the coffee ,tea facilities in the room, when I return for another stay will know to bring my own as will return

We booked a stay at this hotel over the New Year's holiday and the 2 days we were there it was absolutely amazing. The staff and the facilities at the hotel were great. I am coeliac and informed the staff in advance about my gluten allergy. They had gluten free bread and biscuits which was great for breakfast. As we were unsure about the food in restaurants and whether they would be open due to New Year's. I took some food and the hotel staff were accommodating and left this in their food and was heated up when requested. Recommend the hotel. In addition, we also booked the Spa, which was a lovely experience and we would definitely go again.

not much
booked & paid for a junior suite, was shown images on booking.com of my room, this was not the room I booked. once I complained I was given the room o booked. then curtains fell down in room, so large spotlight shined through room all night! so almost no sleep or privacy. all in all? waste of money and time

The Rooftop bar was closed all weekend. They didn't tell us that when we made the reservation. The Shower was blocked and flooded when she took a shower. The wood on the furniture in our room was chipped and needed to be repaired. They finally moved us to another room when I complained, but it was at the back, so no view of the Plaza..
The staff were nice, and the Spa was Amazing. Unfortunately the room itself was disappointing.

Great location and quirky rooms
Our room was noisy from above when breakfast was being set up at 5:30am

The hotel is both beautiful and centrally located. Great tapas bars are just a block or two away. Upon observing that my husband's birthday, they sent a bottle of cava and chocolates (& balloons!) to the room. We celebrated on the rooftop with a view of the square and the fortresses. We also enjoyed it for the very generous breakfast. The swimming pool is also on the roof, but we didn't have time to use it.
We were hoping to check out the baths but were unable to as they were in use.
