Absolutely beautiful property
We had a terrible room as it was the second to last room in the hotel so a VERY long walk - room we felt was average for such a lovely hotel
4.3
hotel main areas are lovely. spa and swimming pool lovely, great food in the buffet and good service all round
bedroom and corridors could do with being refurbished

Overall was a pleasant stay.
Some of the staff were rude front desk

Fantastic breakfast

Nice Room
Not so clean - found staff irritable
4.3
The grounds and location are amazing - absolutely beautiful.
FYI we aren’t children haters, just wanting a romantic getaway for my birthday! For the amount
of money we paid for the overnight stay and dinner, it was so chaotic.
The amount of children at breakfast screaming, throwing food on the floor, it wasn’t a 5 star experience it was stressful. If you are looking for a couples night away I wouldn’t recommend.

Everything except the bed matress.
It was way too soft and they did not change it upon request.
The matress!!

The Grove is a luxurious Country Estate and we loved everything about it. The beautiful grounds, the walled garden, spa, “balloon garden”.
The food and drink were just wonderful and the staff so friendly and helpful!
Nothing not to love!
4.3
Everything, amazing hotel for a special treat or mini break.
Lovely gardens and facilities
Nothing
4.3
Very family orientated with lots of activities
The outdoor pool was dirty with lots of dead flies
4.3
Staff were friendly and attentive
Glasshouse restaurant had lots of choices but the quality of the food didn't live up to expectations
4.3
Room was lovely but expensive for what it was. Breakfast was fabulous. Dinner in The Stables was very good. The grounds are beautiful and there is a real feeling of calm and relaxation throughout the property. The drinks and food can be rather expensive but you are paying for your surroundings and the service.
Always find the bar area a bit hit and miss. Sometimes the staff are very attentive and sometimes it is very difficult to get served at the table.

Everything! From the welcome to check out, the team at The Grove were superb. Nothing was too much trouble and the suggestions for dining and activities were spot on. The three on restaurants at The Grove are simply superb - the Glasshouse breakfast has to be seen to be believed. The room (Superior Double) we had was a good size and the facilities available were first class. In short, this is the best hotel we've stayed in - simple as that.
Nothing! However I have to write 2 or 3 sentences........there wasn't anything I could recommend to improve (maybe the lighting on the way back from The Stables restaurant int he dark but that feels super picky!).

One of the best stays I’ve ever had! took my boyfriend for his birthday. went to the spa, booked Madhu’s and had the pool bbq during the day. Amazing food and service! will definitely be back in the summer.
BBQ is expensive per head and you have to pay service charge on top although it’s self serve / buffet. Came to £72 for two of us
4.3
Great grounds with ample space for leisurely strolls or semi-long runs. Well set up to host families, with plenty of outdoor activities for kids. Great to corporate events as there are big parts of The Grove that can house large groups and be completely separated from the rest of the property.
Correspondence with the property before our stay was very poor. A lot of messages to them via the Booking.com messaging system were simply left unanswered. When on site, customer service was very good, but didn't offset the poor impression from the prior interaction.
Further, cuisine (outside of Madhus and the Glasshouse buffet) is a bit suboptimal. The Stables, Lounges and Potting Shed have few healthy options, with many of the dishes either fried or doused in oil - a lighter menu would be very welcome.
In terms of value for money, there are better options around or just outside the M25 that either offer more luxury and higher quality at comparable prices, or the same quality at a better price.

Good was amazing
Spa was a little disappointing

Everything
Lunch appears to be all or nothing, we wern't overly hungry but it was lunch time, it appears the only option is an amazing full buffet (which isn't cheap if you just want a light lunch).
4.3
country feel not far from London
super friendly and helpful staff
good plant based menu options
excellent spa
such a minor thing but the bath took half an hour to run!
4.3
Everything! There were so many activities to chose from and do, I personally enjoyed the spa and sushi in the lounge… The room was comfortable and always clean.
The staff are so helpful and always looking to help!
definitely coming back for another getaway!
I didn’t really like the activities too much, it didn’t seem too fun or interesting to do and the breakfast selection was great in pastries but not in hot food as it mainly had pork.
4.3
Golf was excellent
Spa was over priced and the pool was very disappointing all the beds were on top of each other not reflective of a 5 star property
