Piacevole soggiorno da Afrodite

Albergo confortevole sulla spiaggia, completo di tutto dalla colazione al servizio spiaggia al bar dove consumare snack e buone insalate. La titolare signora Afrodite gentile e sempre presente per tutti i tuoi desideri. Consigliatissimo. È un albergo a 2 stelle ma merita sicuramente 4 stelle.

Der Urlaub war wunderschön.

Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend, man fühlt sich sehr wohl! Das Hotel liegt super, um die atemberaubenden Strände des Westens zu erkunden - aber auch der Hotelstrand bietet sehr gute Erholung. Wir haben uns rund um wohl gefühlt und kommen sicher wieder. + da unser Flug sehr früh zurück nach Ö ging, konnten wir nicht mehr frühstücken. Uns wurde jedoch ein Lunch Paket zur Verfügung gestellt! Vielen, lieben Dank.

La struttura perfetta!

Tutto eccellente, uno dei migliori alberghi per combinazione di servizi / attenzione al cliente/ location e rapporto qualità prezzo. La signora Aphrodite sempre presente in maniera calorosa ma mai invadente, di gran classe. Lo staff è estremamente gentile. Struttura, piscina e spiaggia molto curate e pulitissime. Molto varia la colazione, presente anche un angolo in cui rifornire le borracce d'acqua per la giornata. Si fa su un delizioso terrazzo fronte piscina e beach bar. Piscina bellissima, con zona bassa dedicata ai bimbi piccoli e recintata da tubi morbidi, molto sicura. L'albergo è praticamente integrato con beach bar e parte lettini spiaggia, comodissimo. Spiaggia meravigliosa, di sabbia. L''insenatura su cui si affaccia Kissamos presenta mare piuttosto calmo e cristallino, con moltissimi servizi / ristorantini / noleggio barche e moto d'acqua. A inizio giugno abbiamo trovato senza problemi sempre ombrelloni in prima fila ( ombrellone + 2 lettini + piccolo tavolino: gratis se si soggiorna in albergo, altrimenti 10 euro/giorno) perfetto coi bambini dato che si è a pochissimi metri dal mare che degrada molto lentamente, una piscina in sostanza. Molti parcheggi liberi disponibili accanto alla struttura. Posizione tattica per visitare tutte le spiagge ad ovest e Chania e dintorni. Prenotate senza esitazione :)

Excellent location right on the beach, with many shops and taverns nearby. The Balos Beach is a 40-minute drive from the hotel. Great breakfast, especially delighted by the Greek cuisine dishes.

Relaxed happy time at a little pearl by the beach

Aphrodite is a little pearl of a hotel with a private beach for those who seek relaxed time. First and foremost breakfast was top quality , there were amazing pastries fresh vegetables cheese and sausage, every day there was some kind of change with the variety so it was fun and interesting, the owner were out of their way to make everybody feel welcomed relax and happy. The room was spacious with a very big terrace, We will surely come back

Ideal hotel position in the bay and close to Kissamos center. Quiet but not boring place

Aphrodite beach hotel has a special position hidden bay, so in case of windy weather it is quiet. This is ideal when the wind is too strong or with small childeren. The wawes are smal and no wind. But, if you like wavy sea, you can go 300 meter further on the beach to Kissamos center direction, you get to a beach with bigger wawes. aphrodite has an interesting position of the swimming pool. No strong sun, no strong wind. Ideal for evenings when tired by see. Also great for childeren. Theere is a restaurant in front of hotel which is quiet, but zou see some touch with the atmosphere if zou have a see view room. The Kisamos area is interesting part of Crete. The port to Balos is abou 3km from Aphrodite. Falassarna is10 minutes by car. Elafonisi about 1 hour by car distance. The hotel personnels were very pleasent and kind. The hotel was perfectly clean.

The cheaper rooms without see view has a pure WiFi signal. This was not a problem of more expansive and great room with sea view.

Spotless, good breakfast area and restaurant, great food and staff! Beautiful beach, able to swim. Comfortable bed and pillows. Great cleaning staff.

Front desk personnel could be more customer service oriented. Bitter attitude. They should charge for the room thru Booking or at the time of check in, instead they wait until check-out, we needed to leave very early in the morning to travel an hour to Chania airport, no one was able to get payment, security person didn't speak English, had to wait for manager to show up. BAD system for sure! Being a hotel with direct access to the beach, the beach chairs should be for guests only, instead, they allow non-guests, loud, small children screaming & running almost on top of you, adults smoking in front of all the guests that sometimes couldn't get an available chair! They give only one beach towel every 2 days, ridiculous! Watch out for grandma Catarina, she watches you like a hawk.

Superb hotel!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The room was very clean, the breakfast was excellent and it was close to the most famous beaches in Crete: Balos, Falasarna and Elafonisi. Also, the staff was very friendly, polite and always ready to help. We will definitely return to this wonderful hotel. :) Thank you!

it was a very nice stay , but not because of the room. had a fun night

the Terrasse and the bed

everything else, the bathroom wasn’t very good looking. the door to our room was fragile and the handle was almost broken. we were lucky that the door handle had an issue because the key to our room wasn’t even working, instead of a green light , a red one appeared. the bed was very nice. the rest was pretty mediocre but the staff was also very nice

Such a lovely place to stay!

The hotel is lovely and peaceful, rooms are well decorated, spacious and functional, with comfortable beds and a strong shower. Everything was clean, the breakfast area is lovely providing a great traditional and varied Mediterranean breakfast. If you like a strong coffee, you can hack the machine by adding an espresso first on your cup and then a Caffe au lait, perfect Flat white ;) The beach is great, quiet, with beds and parasols with great bar service and also an amazing quality restaurant!!! The swimming pool is also great, quiet, with good temperature and height, and with lovely beds on the side. we were really pleased with this little hotel

Disappointing

The only positive thing was the location.

As with many other people noticed, the hotel offers downgraded services to some of their customers. none of the photos in the main website reflected the reality. You had to choose the specific room to see the kind of services you get, which is marginally different from what you would have thought. The breakfast was no different than store bought products and the pool/beach were not worth the hype. Overall the price we paid did not meet expectations. Very bad value for money in my opinion. Wouldn't recommend. There are much better options near by.

Lovely family run hotel at the quiet beach and a cosy beach bar. All Staff is so welcoming snd really make your stay special. No problem with late check in. Ouer side sea view room was very spacious and had a huge balcony and a very comfortable bed.

Nice hotel in an ugly town

The hotel is comfortable and well renovated. The small pool is nice. The beach is right in front, with a bar that feels like being in the Caribbean. The location not far from the must-see Lagoon of Baloa. Staff is wonderful like everywhere in this island.

Although the structure is nice the surrounding town is really ugly and that doesn't help in making the stay memorable. The beach is heavily eroded, a spooky sign of what could happen in the years to come to the whole planet.

wonderful stay in a beautiful hotel at the beach with its own sun beds.

modern renovated hotel, friendly staff, great location directly at the beach, comfortable sun beds, beach bar with service at the beach. we had a great stay and got really relaxed during our visit. The hotel offers a pool, but with the location directly at the beach we rather enjoyed our time there. our room was always clean and very modern renovated. we also loved the „rain shower“. the location of the Hotel is also great, since you can reach many spots around the greater Chania area by Car, bus, ferry quickly. The hotel is for sure a recommendation!

nothing really. Only thing someone could notice - sometimes the impression comes up that activities in and at the hotel are advertised (at extra cost, e.g restaurant, beach bar, breakfast, etc.) and the prices are compared to the surrounding a little pricey.

Exceptionally clean. Wonderful pool and beach for swimming. Attentive owner making sure all was going well around the hotel. Beautiful view from our room overlooking the sea. Would recommend.
