The gentleman who welcomed me who seems to be the owner was very lovely, kind and helpful throughout the stay.
The breakfast was also really lovely!
The walls are very thin and we could hear everything. Also felt so bad for talking past a certain volume range as we felt we would interrupt other guests.
The first night, there was someone with a bad cough and kept constantly clearing their throat aggressively. It was quite painful to stay through. Luckily they must have checked out so we got one good day of peace and quiet and if we had all days like this, it would have been a different experience, completely positive.

Vincenzo our host is so helpful and kind with all informations concerning sight seeing, transport, restaurants… useful advices. hotel is nice and clean 100 meters from bus stop that goes to Amalfi. ( using bus and boat is easier that driving) very narrow roads all over Amalfi coast. note that no buses on sundays.

The host was super nice and polite. He was helpful and made us feel welcomed. It was nice to eat breakfast at our private balcony. Location was good and the small village was cute with quite many restaurants. Parking was easy. The view to Amalfi was beautiful from up. We walked down to the beach about 5km but it was worth it. We were glad that we chose this smaller more peaceful place to stay (compared to Amalfi).

The property was great. The rooms were massive and clean and the breakfast was great!! The owner is super helpful and amazing. He helped us with a lot of suggestions and guidance for our entire stay and I would definitely recommend this place. The hotel is about an hour away from Amalfi so would recommend your own vehicle. The owner helped arrange a scooter for us which was amazing! The city centre is 2 minutes from the hotel and has a couple of restaurants and its also where you get a bus to the amalfi coast which is around 45mins away. Would love to visit again.
Nothing! Our stay was great.

Loved this property!! Agerola is a wonderful town right next to Amalfi and I loved every minute of my stay here. The breakfast was great, the bed was comfortable, and Vincenzo was super helpful with anything I had questions with! Will 100% stay here again if I'm back in the area.
Nothing!

We found the owner to be wonderful- very kind and helpful. We stayed here so we could hike the Path of the Gods which we were able to do easily from Agerola. It was lovely, peaceful, friendly and affordable at New Royal.
the wi-fi was a little spotty on the evening we were booking our next transfer and accommodation but the following morning wi-Di was up and working again.

Really nice room and a lovely breakfast was provided in the morning. I was able to do a trail run all along the coast and back. Alternatively, you can take a bus to the Amalfi coast directly. Bus stop is 100metres away and times are very frequent. They were really helpful with directions and bus times. There are also direct bus times to/from Naples.

A really affordable option on the Amalfi Coast, close to hikes and some great bar/restaurant options. Vincenzo is a fantastic host. Spotlessly clean and comfortable with off-road parking right out front

super friendly people and the room is comfy. the balcony is an extra bonus - great to work from besides enjoying breakfast.

The room was a nice size with some space to move around, and we had a balcony with a decent view out on some of the town and further into the mountains, in which breakfast is had. The bathroom/shower was very good, got cleaned every day and the shower was very nice after a long day of walking / visiting. The breakfast was really nice with a good selection of pastries and drinks and you can take it and eat it in the balcony in the morning very comfortably. The location was nice, next to lots of restaurants and grocery stores, and a couple of minutes from the bus station (get your tickets from the tobacco shop thing in the square). Very nice restaurants and views around, and great for the price.
Not much to complain about, the only thing really is the location. To get here if you don't have a car, the journey from Naples airport is bus - train - bus. And getting the tickets and the whole transport system is dodgy in our opinion which was definitely what we didn't like. Getting down to the coast is just a 2€ bus ticket but the main issue is the one hour bus ride around the hill next to the coast were you are rocking back and forth and we felt very sick. It's definitely an interesting bus system to get down there. And coming back, every day everyones pushing each other to fit on the bus rides back, and many times you have no space to sit and have to endure a very painful ride back up.

Breakfast: Has a lot of choices of sweet Italian breakfast. It was literally the only hotel which we could grab whatever food we want from the breakfast room. Others we stayed in our 1 months trip in Italy have either outsourced or serve to the table breakfast (which my boyfriend feels embarrassing to ask for more)
Host: The host was very friendly and always try to help.
Size of the room: room was big with a terrace.
Good luck with post pandemic time and restoration.
The room looks not as good as the picture and it was a bit worn inside. The location looks very close to Amalfi on the map but becasue it's up in the mountain, it takes 30min to drive to Amalfi and 1-2 hours to Sorrento.

The host was really welcoming. He was always ready to help and advise. The place is well located in the small town of Agerola San Lazzaro, just near the central place. The room is convenient with all the necessary for a short stay.
Some neighboors could be a bit noisy, and they were some constructions nearby but overall it was ok.

The hotel has parking spaces.
The landlord is the very good man.
The room was clean.
Brakfast was included and tasty.
The road to Amalfi takes 2 hours (1 hour in the line, 1 hour in the bus)
