Cette maison a du potentiel mais beaucoup de choses sont a revoir rapidement sur la sécurité et la propreté

Emplacement

Chambre beaucoup trop petite espace entre lit et le mur quasi inexistant, salle de bain vétuste et joint noir dans les angles. Système d’eau chaude limite dangereux soit l’eau est froide soit elle est bouillante et aucune notice d’utilisation. Le jardin c’est une moquette synthétique. La balançoire n’a pas été nettoyée, du coup on a des excréments d’oiseau séché. 3 chaises de jardin alors que c’est une maison pour 5 personnes. Les autres restent debout !!! Le banc en bois dans le jardin à ne pas utiliser. il est totalement usé et du coup instable. Le pied d’un des lits est également à la limite de ceder. Annonce 2 places de parking ce n’est pas le cas,on doit se garer dehors devant la maison. Information de ne pas faire de bruit entre 8h et 20h, c’est plutôt bizarre.

Lovely stay in well appointed & comfortable home. Highly recommend.

Beautifully presented home. Very neat & clean. Ample storage space. Comfortable beds. Ample room for our family of four. Host provided a welcome pack which catered for our breakfast needs for the entirety of our stay. All necessary amenities provided. Host very responsive and helpful. Restaurants/pubs close by. Lovely walk along Medway just near home. Excellent location for exploring Kent/Sussex

Beautiful location. Very clean house. Little extras left for us were a nice touch - bread, milk etc

Creaky floor boards were a pain upstairs on the landing...very loud if someone got up to go loo in middle of night!

Nice area right next to the River Medway. Easy access to the centre of Maidstone.

The house is looking dated, definitely in need of some upgrading as looking very tatty in areas. If this house is cleaned by a professional company, then they really need to get their act together. Lots of the cups are stained, and some of the mismatches of cutlery stained, ridiculous TV stand in the second bedroom, making it difficult to get out of the room, especially in the dark. The garden needs a good clean-up, as do the filthy windows. It just feels dirty as a good few cobwebs around. Poorly maintained bathroom. TV is virtually impossible to use as both the TV and Amazon stick remote controls are in need of new batteries. As we run a holiday company and service holiday rental properties, this falls well short of our standards. Would not stay here again, I'm afraid.

Exactly what we needed.

Our stay at the Riverside was perfect for what we needed. The communication with the management was really good. The house has everything we needed for our stay. And the location is great. Very quiet area right by the river.

Weekend stay in Riverside

The property is clean and in a quiet close. The house is really nice and is like home from home. The owners were fantastic at answering my questions prior to my stay. I highly recommend this property. Everything we needed was here, the bed were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. If you want to stay somewhere close to the town centre then this property is a great choice. I will be rebooking next year as we thoughingly enjoyed our stay.

Adequate but definitely not the best place we have stayed. A few extras goes a long way to help when you rock up at 8pm.

Location close to canal was nice

We were under the impression we had canal view from the advertising but no views at all. To improve this property would be to provide a little milk / coffee and filter for coffee machine / a welcome basket / fans that work / iron and ironing board that is of good quality and usable / the lounge coffee table is dangerous don’t bring kids / decent shower and cleaner / dish cloth and more than one t-towel for 5 days.

Not what was expected

The location was good for us, a central place to go off from. The bed was comfortable.

I believe the house needs alot TLC. Lots of dodgy fixes like clothes hook for a window handle, also on the same window the other handle had snapped. The kitchen tap was extremely loose and when mentioned to the owner they didn't seem fussed. Also kitchen was not very well stocked, 1 saucepan and 1 frying pan both with no lids. only 2 pair's of glasses, plates and bowls where the same and meant to be able to house 6. A few of the cupboard doors were almost handing off. The bath panel was very loose and the fitting at both ends was not sealed in properly. The floor boards are also moving around. Some clever photos have been used in the advertisement to make the property loom better than it is.

quiet, peaceful stay visiting family.

we liked the peacefulness, the canal and footpath so close, the little garden, the comfy beds, the art work on the walls., the cleanliness of the place and the ice cold water machine on the fridge .

nothing was bad but the garden needed attention but then I am a passionate gardener. 😃😃

A comfortable house in a peaceful and central location

A peaceful quiet and yet central location with river walks close by. Comfortable accommodation and very private garden. Tidy and well presented overall. Driveway parking right outside the door. Thoughtful provision of food items and lots of equipment too.

The property was in a quiet and peaceful location despite being close to town. For a self catering family we found the kitchen well equipped. it was warm and comfortable and a pleasure to stay in.

just check the comprehensive equipment you have for kitchen to ensure they all work properly and make sure all the lights have bulbs in.

Fabulous, spacious with all the joys of Kentish countryside on the doorstep.

Such a surprise! The perfect spot for a getaway from London. Canal boats, a lovely river walk close to the front door. Super quiet. Loved it. Perfect set up for a group of friends getaway.

Exceptional

Lovely spacious house for our family of 4 to stay in whilst we visited family. Rooms were perfect and the area was peaceful and quiet. The location is perfect for scenic walks and handy for the park and the commuter links were great for getting to North Kent and South London.

Absolutely perfect in every way.

We have had a wonderful stay, the house is beautiful, very well appointed, stocked with everything you could possible want. It is immaculately clean and very comfortable. Our hosts were very helpful and very generous - leaving us everything we could possibly want. We had a lovely visit and look forward to returning again soon.
