Perched at the crest of one of Helen's curving peaks, Hillside Elegance offers you a spacious multi-level home of over 3000 square feet. This beautiful retreat boasts soaring wood ceilings, and real wood floors. The two story living room offers comfy rustic couches, a cut stone gas fireplace, huge flat screen TV and double door access out to one of three sumptious decks that span the back of the house, enclosed by the trees of a scenic wooded hillside on the 10th fairway of the Innsbruck golf course.
The main deck level boasts a quiet reading nook, bistro seating for your morning coffee, and a pair of adirondack chairs for that frosty afternoon brew or chilled glass of wine. Prepare a meal in the fully equipped kitchen with warm would designer cabinets and black appliances, or sizzle some steaks on the charcoal grill on the lower deck. The elegant dining room connects to the kitchen, and offers a sunny spot to sit in the adjoining window alcove.
The spacious master bedroom is conveniently located on the main floor, with its beautiful rustic pine furniture, walk-in closet, and huge master bathroom with double sink, large shower, and separate toilet enclosure. The master bedroom opens with double glass doors onto the main level screened deck. The second-floor bedroom sports its own private bathroom, shared only when extra guests use the twin and trundle in the sunny loft.
The lower level is accessed by a flight of carpeted stairs with two more private bedrooms, and a shared bath off the impressive game room with its pool table, large TV, wet bar kitchenette, sleeper sofa, and double door access to the covered hot tub deck.

We actually didnt stay at this particular location due to an issue with the water heater. The owner contacted me a few days prior to our trip and informed me the water heater was out and wouldnt be fixed prior to our stay. She did offer one of her other houses in the same area as an option for out kids and friends. The house we stayed at was great and we enjoyed our time there.

We have used this home several times. We have been going go Helen for years and its our favorite to stay in during Oktoberfest! Very convienent to Helen! I will note that we were not very satisfied with the cookware. Many things in the home needs updating but most of all, the cookware. For a home that sleeps so many, the pots there were not large enough to accommodate us and they were falling apart. We will definitely be back! We hope some updates will be made. Thanks Sue!

Cost and location were great. Layout was very good for multiple families. We enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. Very quiet and well maintained neighborhood. Owner was also very responsive. That being said, listing states check in is after 4PM and after driving 9 hours, I expected to be able to enter the property at that time. However, 5 minutes before check in, owner informed me check in would be after 5 PM...ok, not what I wanted to hear but I can deal with that, well at 5:30 PM the cleaning crew was still there. When cleaner finally finished and we were able to enter the property, we found dishes in the dishwasher and wet towels in the washing machine. Mattresses were also very uncomfortable and need updating. Overall, it was a pleasant stay but the few inconveniences did take away from the experience.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. There were 6 of us, and we all had our own bedrooms with plenty of space! The bathrooms were very conveniently located. We had our own privacy if wanted. The pool table was enjoyed very much, as was the hot tub. Great house for a large family. We enjoyed cooking in the cute kitchen. The only thing needed there is some new, nice pans. Also needs new chairs for the dining room table. Overall we really had a nice time!

This location is very convenient, plenty of room for everyone. Its just a short drive to activities in Helen. We saw deer, turkeys, rabbits, squirrels and a bear. I will advise other renters to give the names, vehicle make and color to the owner prior to your arrival so that the guard at the gate gets the information at least four hours before you get there. It makes checking in much smoother. Check in time is after 4 p.m. - I arrived at 5:20 p.m., the guard didn't have my info and housekeeping was just leaving the premises. My patience was thin after driving 12 hours to get there. That's my only negative about the whole trip. However I would consider renting this house again. Overall, we had a great time.

We had the pleasure of staying at this location for the week of July 4th. Everything was as advertised and better. New TV, screened-in porch, great hot tub and more. There was plenty of space for each of our group of 9. The only incident that gave us “paws” was a morning encounter with a juvenile black bear attempting to, and successfully, break in to the “bear-proof” garbage bin. But, we ran him off with a harsh scolding and never saw him again. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a spacious, amenity-full rental in the quiet, gated Innsbruck golf community on the mountain - just a stone’s throw from the hustling, bustling town of Helen, GA.

Overall we had a really good vacation. Checkin was delayed from stated time in house listing due to the cleaning crew having 2 houses to clean. There was plenty of room for the 10 of us to spread out and sleep. We enjoyed the pool table and the hot tub. The house is located within a few minutes to town. We will be back again!

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the feeling of Christmas all around this house! All of the beds were comfortable! Our biggest disappointment was that the hot tub was not functional, and that was one of the reasons we chose this property.

House was beautiful! There was some maintenance issues the owner was working on (needed parts on backorder). Twelve adults ages 43 to 63, plenty of space to move around, room to socialize comfortably all together.

Another great stay in this cabin. Stayed there in July 2015 and in April 2017. Our family just loves it over there. That was our 2nd stay there and yes, it felt like our 2nd Home (just without that 2nd mortgage).
The owner is simply the best of the best and she goes out of her way to make you feel right at home.
This cabin has lots of room to accommodate large families. No fighting for bathroom times. No bumping into each other and I had some quiet space to work. This cabin has never felt like a rental, it is truly a Home Away.
In 4 days, only left the cabin once to visit Downtown Helen, which is just a short drive away.
I could go on and on about our 2nd Home, we're already looking at dates for Stay #3 this summer. If you're reading this, that means you're interested in this cabin ... Look no further, just Book It and Thank me Later.

Three couples--six retired adults--recently stayed here. The facilities were ideal for our group. Everything was well-tended. Susan responded to our inquiry about the cable service that was temporarily interrupted, and her response was immediate and effective. No other problems arose, and our time there was enjoyable in every way. Hadn't played pool for a long time. So the pool table down stairs was a pleasant surprise.

We stayed for a weekend Helen getaway to celebrate my mother-in-laws 50th birthday. We had 8 adults & there was plenty of space to fit our large bunch comfortably. It's right behind the main street of Helen shopping, the longest drive is getting out of the gated neighborhood. I would definitely book our next stay here again!! The house was very clean and nicely decorated. The only reason why I did not give 5 stars is because the beds need new mattresses. They were not supportive & I already have lower back pain. Other than that, the place is absolutely perfect!! :-)

This home provided the perfect late summer retreat for our family and friends! We enjoyed the convenience and security of the gated Innsbruck Golf Course Community. The house was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated...and had plenty of room for 10 or more people. We arrived on Friday, grilled steaks and ate-in the first night.
We went tubing on the Chattahoochee for the day on Saturday and the location was perfect!! The Cool River Tubing Co. was only a few hundred yards from the Innsbruck Guardhouse.
We highly recommend this property!!!
